I presume you mean Sol's faint glowing?

If so, Themis's death happened before Sol came to life. It's basically just shifting the timeline around, really. I'm not really good about keeping a consistent timeline ^^"

the more arcs with that that happen, the more I think people just straight up don't want me to be part of this RPverse.

I understand you concerns here. I did this arc because I couldn't keep up with all my characters, and wanted to get rid of one of them. I do genuinely enjoy Themis's character, but I didn't enjoy roleplaying him as much anymore. So I figured I should get rid of him.

I understand the whole thing is overdone and all that, but I just needed to get rid of a character. I hope that this is okay. And don't worry about the venting thing, I understand being upset about this. I figured that some people were gonna be upset.

If I decide one day that I do want Themis back, then I'll probably just retcon the whole arc.

"It's unfortunate, really. I did quite like them. Oh well."

(By the time dawn came, Themis was gone. All that remained was their crutch and his backpack.)

(They raise their weapon, pointing it at his head.)

(Themis goes silent. Their breathing gets faster.)

"We aren't going to kill your friend here, just so you're aware. Not yet. If that makes you any more comfortable with your situations. We need xem, after all."

what- isn't there like, something i can do to convince you to not kill me? i'd like to keep my life, thank you very much.

"Hmm.... Sadly, no. I won't get paid if you aren't dead."

(Themis tries to step back towards the door, but the person moves themself in front of him, blocking his exit.)

why. why are you doing this to me. i won't tell anyone, i promise.

"Ah, sadly we cannot trust you on that."

(Themis tries to move away from them once more, but he gets blocked once more.)

(Themis, hesitantly, follows the person, staying far behind in case he needs to run.)

where are we going. who are you

"We are just going to the living room. And as for who I am, that isn't any of your business."

(He goes back inside, trying not to show their panic, but as they try to close the door, something grabs it from the other side, keeping it open.)

(The force on the other side pulls the door back open, and Themis loses his balance for a moment, almost falling as they stumble backwards. The person from before walks through the door, quietly closing it behind them as they stare Themis in the eyes.)

(...Upon further inspection, the person seems to be holding a firearm of sorts.)

(It was the middle of the night. Themis was having trouble sleeping lately due to his nightmares. (He quietly opens the back door, leaving to just stand outside for a bit. He... Could've sworn he saw something moving. Another person, who is seemingly carrying something. They were moving pretty fast.)

(...Maybe it's better to go back inside-)

(After eating their snack and drinking his water, they don't exactly feel too tired anymore. They feel that, maybe fresh air will do them some good.)

(Themis sighs deeply, before sitting up and grabbing his crutch. He looks down at their left leg, or at least what's left of it. They survived that crash. Maybe he didn't survive it whole, but they came out with their life. That's more than many could say. Maybe they will survive this time, too.)

(He stands up, shifting his weight between their left arm and right leg, before gaining his balance and walking around to find the kitchen in the dark. After all, he's a bit hungry and a bit thirsty. Hopefully Spiinner wouldn't mind them taking a small snack from the pantry, or getting a glass of water.)
