Guest lecture - Esther Teichmann
Esther Teichmann is german american artist. She focuses on fragmented bodies hues of blues and purples which are liquids, she uses black inks and pale blue to create distorted images. Esther Teichmann explores sweaty jungles which are staged images of undergrowth painted dripping inks,. she easiness ideas of loss and the impossible return. it connotes sickness and the grief of a sense of a inherited home of silence. In my opinion her work has influenced me because she explores the empty emotion and I am trying to capture the emotion and response in my images but this is done by reflections.

Work Placement
It has been a lovely 5 days working with the company disabilitycoach and Louis the coach. He has taught me an awful lot within working in a team and learning skills such as being confident communicating with the children, helping them out, being the ability to understand that they can do sports due to there disability which doesn't stop them. Therefore was a pleasure working with this company and a lovely coach who was very helpful and generous.

Work Placement 30th March 2015
Today I had to take pictures of the disabled children playing football outdoors. it was another day doing the same routine, we were given a task to take it in a particular way, such as close ups or wide angeles shots but creating some sort of movement and action. Louis the leader of the disability coach company told us the children are really active and for us to work as a team within the other two members of the group which were photographers as well. This was a lovely day because the sun was out and we really did have amazing images according to what Louis wanted.

Lecturer Jo Longhurst: Tues 3rd Jan 2015
Jo Longhurst is recognised for cultural notions of perfection and traditions of photographic practise through photography, video, performance and installation.
In this lecture he spoke about his project: Twelve dogs, twelve bitches.
An installation of 24 portraits of eminent English Whippets standing in classic show pose. The pedigree name of each dog is listed. The dogs are presented as desirable objects, arranged in grids that invite the viewer to make comparisons. Upon closer inspection, some dogs can be seen to have a string around their neck which controls their stance.
I invited the dogs who had been photographed to the opening of the Treason exhibition in 2003. They were greeted by my dog, Terence, sporting a Whippet-cam, which broadcast the dogs' private view live to a monitor in a dog crate at the gallery entrance.

Monday 23rd March 2015 Work Experience-Disability Sports
Finding this work experience was through my friend who told me that the disability sports coach was requiting people and needed more clients to join the team of taking images for the different sport events. Therefore I went forward had a meeting with Louis and was pleasant for me to join the team. This work experience requires taking images of disabled people who play sports and shows the opportunity that the disabled is able to do anything. The work experience is based taking images of different sports in different areas of events. My first was taking images at a park of the disabled adults playing football. I was astonished of how this was achieved by them, they were lovely to work with and had so much energy and happiness. The pictures required to be active shots such as kicking the ball, running around, scoring etc. Therefore my shots were of them doing football tricks and some contained close up shots of the moment caught in action. I really enjoyed this day, was a pleasure to work.

Work Experience
Thursday 7th august
12:30pm-5:00pm
In studio working on photo shop resizing last couple of images.
After this i took images of students work for the top images Jennifer wanted. Such as going to different locations and experimenting for the top image for tumblr. Shooting outside had such a different effect to the photo books it revealed an aura to the books, the books had space to fulfil beauty within the space around them. I was pleased within these shots because it captured something unusual and it was different to see them outside out of the comfort zone. What a photo book means to me is a living human, it is what you create in your mind to have the physical raw material in your hand, it is how the visual aesthetics are put into reality. It is a form of social communication.
