      “east kingsboro has the best 7-11, in my humble opinion. i always like to come for the slushies, they do them better. maybe snatch up some snacks, i can never fully decide,” he says, shrugging his shoulders. “and don’t sweat it, i didn’t hear what you were saying because i’m not some weirdo who listens in on other people’s conversations.” 

“Okay, that’s finally an opinion I can get behind. All of the corner stores and gas stations have the best snacks in this part of Kingsboro. Totally the best selection,” she nods her head. She nudges her brother to shove the chips and candy deeper into his jacket pockets. “Glad you’re not one of those losers who feel the need to taddle on people. Like, this isn’t middle school again.”

       valentine always enjoyed a good 7-eleven trip, to say the least. it probably wasn’t often that you saw someone of his status roaming a 7-eleven, but everyone could enjoy a good 7-eleven, couldn’t they? plus, valentine was always just normally getting a slushie, something he’s always enjoyed. he’s by a woman and someone younger, looking upon some things. he rose a brow, looking upon her after she spoke, “who said i even heard anything? guilty conscience?” he says. 

Stella raises her brow as the boy replies to her. “Well, I don’t know? I can’t really say I’ve seen you around these parts much. Plus, you don’t really seem like somebody who would frequent a 7-11 on the East side of Kingsboro, no offense,” the blonde responds.

Giovanna is taking a break from the case she’s been working night and day on because coffee is absolutely necessary at this point. In addition to that, some fresh air is nice too. She stretches when she stands up from her desk and picks up her purse, slinging it over her arm and walking the few blocks down to the convenience store. After she fills up her cup and prepares her coffee the way she likes it, her eyes, and unfortunately her ears catch the directive the blonde if giving the younger male. “I wish I hadn’t heard, and the chips are literally about to fall out of his pocket. Here just put it all in with mine, it’s on me”

“Oh no, we’re fine,” she shakes her head. Stella didn’t want to seem like a charity case. It wasn’t uncommon for this 7-11 to be stolen from, it was within her neighborhood growing up. She had been taking things from this particular location since she could basically walk. It just had to be this moment where somebody had caught her. “You don’t have to do this. I forgot my wallet at home, it’s not a big deal.”

Truth be told, Dorian had heard what the girl had told the little boy. And when she whipped around and basically threatened him, he simply stared at her, scoffing softly and shaking his head. While he didn’t take too kindly to her threat, clearly, for whatever reason, she needed help and he wasn’t one to judge. So, he reached into the pocket of his leather jacket and pulled out his wallet. He opened it and offered her a ten dollar bill. “Actually, I did. And you don’t scare me in the slightest, so if I wanted to rat you out, I definitely would. But, luckily for you, I don’t want to. So here. Looks like you could use this,” He told her. 

Stella rolls her eyes as she glanced down at the ten dollar bill he was trying to give her. “Thanks, but I don’t need it. Feel free to cut us in line because we were just leaving anyways,” she turns to look at her brother. “Weren’t we, Liam?” the blonde asks as the little boy offers a toothy grin to the older man. “See, nothing is going on here.”

Stella was spending the afternoon with her younger siblings. It had been a minute since she had a full day to herself, thanks to always working. Truthfully, she had missed them ever since she moved out. They were safe at their aunt’s house, far far away from their shitty parents. She was at the 7-eleven on the east side of Kingsboro, getting some snacks with one of her younger brothers, Liam. She groaned when she realized she had forgotten her wallet at home. “Hey, just slip the chips and candy bars in your pockets. We can make a break for it in like 30 seconds. Remember what I taught you?” she whispered to him. Hearing someone by them, she flips her head around. 

“You heard nothing,” she spat out. It wasn’t a Montgomery outing without stealing, right?

“Unfortunately for us, I do have work in a few hours,” Rae said with a pout, “But I’d a thousand percent invite you to sleepover otherwise. I miss you,” Rae set down their choice of beverage before sitting down with her coffee in her small kitchen area, her dog Lilly laying at her feet. “I’m really glad you came to see me, don’t get me wrong, but to what do I owe this particular pleasure?” 

Stella was an extremely prideful person and she hated when she had to admit where she was in the wrong. There had been some mild drama between the two girls in the group chat as of late, and she had decided to go to Rae’s place to wave a white flag and clear up any tension. “Yeah, totally. Just wanted to let you know I don’t want or need beef with you. Sorry if I was a bitch to you in the chat, sometimes I just don’t know when to stop talking. I take shit personal.”

“God, I bet you were a terror as a kid.” He thought aloud. Considering her personality now, he couldn’t imagine what a handle she was as a kid. Then again, Aaron was a pretty terrible kid himself. He hoped that Des would make it a little easier on him, but with the way that was going…he had a feeling she would be a bit of a wild teenager like he was. “Hey, I don’t want to be that annoying dad whose only personality trait is that he has a kid.” He joked. “I also have an amazing penis.”

“Yeah, I guess you could say that,” she smirks to the rich boy. She had always been quite the bold personality, but it would eventually benefit him. Being an extrovert did have it’s perks, especially with the jobs she had at the moment. “I swear, if you could fuck your own reflection, I think you would. I am aware that you have a decent penis, I have seen it in it’s full glory, remember?”

Claudia came come to Peppermints on her night off to catch up with some friends, and of course, to visit her roommate, Stella, too. The bar was packed tonight, which Claudia was no stranger to. The artist was on her way up to the bar to order the next round when she almost walked past the dancer. “There you are! I didn’t want to bother you, but I think a body shot would be hot.” She suggested. “As long as we split whatever we make from it…C’mon let’s get up there together.” She starting dragging Stella up towards the stage. Claudia knew she probably wasn’t allowed to do this but she was actually drunk as fuck and didn’t care either. 

“Uh, deal. I’ve been making some solid tips tonight so I’m sure we can make something big from it,” she snickered as she brought her good friend and roomie onto the stage. Thankfully she was pretty cool with her boss, or she might get written up for this. Oops? “You should take it inbetween my tits, these are my money makers anyways,” she replied as nodded to the other girl.

Allister managed to roll his eyes when Stella realized it was him, feeling the attitude wafting off of her like an obvious odor. Maybe they didn’t end things on the best of terms, but that didn’t mean he didn’t still care about her. “Yeah well, you should at least feel someone out first, make sure they’re not some crazy serial killer before you ask them to do anything to you.” What award winning advice.

“I have perfectly good judgment skills, I don’t need you or anybody else telling me to watch my back,” she spits out, feeling incredibly annoyed. Allister had good intentions, but she was simply trying to do her job here. Nobody would want to mingle with her if she wasn’t playful. “What are you doing here tonight anyways? I think we both know this isn’t your scene.”
