It’s hard. It’s hard to accept the fact that the life you’ve always dreamed of may be a life you’ll never be able to have. It’s hard to accept that your body most likely can’t do one of the things it was made to do. And it’s even harder to watch other people live your dream. So, a wall gets put up. Why? Well, because no one else should be subjected to the pain you haven’t learned to accept.
