You know when some days the gravity of the entire plot just hits you so hard and you’re like woah, Rayla jumped into the life and death portal to save her parents and Callum would have gone plummeting into the abyss but he didn't because the person who once-upon-a-time held a knife to his throat is his guiding light and Ezran almost got kidnapped by his new aunt's crazy drunk racist brother's girlfriend and Soren turned into a fire creature thing to save the people of Katolis and KATOLIS BURNED DOWN and Ezran almost had an arrow shot at his brother 😭 and Aanya shot human Aaravos through the neck, and Claudia killed sir sparklepuff and stole all the breath from Callum's lungs and Aaravos killed both of Janai's siblings in the same exact place in front of her and Rayla pointed an ARROW at Callum READY TO GIVE HER HEART FOR XADIA and Aanya showed Ezran how to blow the world up with NUCLEAR WEAPONS and Avizandum came back from the dead to kill Aaravos and Rex and him are still fighting and ALL THE ARCH-DRAGONS ARE DEAD and Callum almost got consumed by darkness and possessed again and HE HAS A WHITE STREAK IN HIS HAIR NOW and Claudia killed the illusion of her mom without missing a beat and Terry finally made a run for it and Soren almost fell of a cliff and plummeted to his death and Zym is an orphan now and Runaan is alive and there is so much I am forgetting 😭.

But on the flip side, Janai and Amaya's love is going to keep growing together, Runaan returned Ethari's heart to him, Callum and Ezran need each other because they are brothers, Soren and Callum have come so far that they have cried in the rubbles of their home together, Ezran is going to try and forgive Runaan, Rayla and Ezran love each other they have always loved each other, and Corvus always has Soren's back, and Terry loves himself, and Callum and Rayla's home is with each other they trust each other, and maybe piece of piece they will all be okay.

OH AND CAN'T FORGET, HARROW IS THE FUCKING BIRD AND ZUKO-JUMPSCARE CAUSE ZYM CAN FUCKING TALK 🤪��

Remember when the dragon prince gave us canonically gay married elves, an interspecies interrracial lesbian couple involving a disabled character, non-binary characters of colour, martyred lesbain queens and mothers, and a transmasc elf in a happy relationship whose transness isn't at the center of his relationship; all while never depicting queerness as something other than completely normal and accepted within that universe and still constructing relevant and important arcs for each of these queer characters that are essential in furthering the story. Thinking about the arc 3 time skip being somewhere between 7-12 years.

Aaravos will be back in ~7 years. If they go with a time skip over 7 years, that means that the characters will be walking on eggshells every moment after. For years. Every minute knowing he’s capable of being back, he’s somewhere, gathering power and working with Claudia to take down everything they worked so hard for.

I just think that it would be. So interesting to see how it breaks everybody down. How it messes with each character. How it has the capability to bring them right back to where they are in season 7. Ezran ready to resort to violence, Callum ready to do dark magic, Rayla ready to kill.

Or even just something simpler.

Do they all snap at each other over the smallest of things? Do they get into fights easily?

If characters do have kids, how do they deal with that? Are they incredible protective and don’t want them out of their sight? Do they regret their decision to have kids before Aaravos was dealt with?

For 7 years they were able to feel safe-ish, but then those 7 years and 19 days come and go and nothing.

(And honestly I feel like Aaravos would wait a few extra years just to fuck with them)
