Of course... right before I need to get back to work I find my inspiration and the motivation to draw again ;) At least that's a good sign that I am really over Covid (now I only need to get rid of that annoying cough...) But at least I could seize the remaining time and managed to finish something small for myself. A picture of Virgil Tracy - yes, it's that time again that I need Thunderbirds escapism and a self-indulging picture of Virg... 

Btw... Virigl has horrible hair and I hate to draw it...

I’ve been too busy obsessing over The Great Ace Attorney to draw something for Gordon’s birthday, so have this FishTank fanart again instead 💛💚 (Yes I’m still alive, sorry for disappearing like that. December/january have been super hectic, then I proceeded to fall into an amazing video game I’ve been waiting to play for years. Hoping to draw the Tracy boys again someday, though!)

I started this weeks ago, then gave up on the painting because I was frustrated by all the big mistakes I was making… Today I decided to go back to it and do what I could on it, might as well train on it as much as I could Maybe someday I’ll have the skill to redraw it properly

I just wanted to get Scott to wear a suit. I wonder if he wears a suit when he has meeting with GDF. I think Scott would call his family suddenly to say I love you in peaceful day when he has no rescue operation. And John will say “you’ll be Marked For Death?”

I actually made it when I was struggling with being rejected from A-level art so I have mixed feelings about this one.

TAG ask game

3. How'd you get into Thunderbirds? This one is kind of a fun story, actually. See, one of my favorite video game characters ever is a muscular man with black brush up hairstyle and thick eyebrows who is voiced by David Menkin. Sounds familiar? Yeah. One day, while we were talking about David Menkin's voice roles, a friend who likes both the game and TAG sent me a pic of Virgil. I immediatly decided to watch TAG for fun just to see who was that character so eerily similar.

I did not expect to 1. fall in love with TAG, 2. end up with that Virgil guy actually being my favourite character too.

Here's the character, his name is Malos, from Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

He's technically an antagonist aiming for the destruction of the world, but there are so many levels to his character, he actually has a big heart behind a twisted story about identity and fate.

6. What's an episode you love to rewatch? Hard choice, but I think I'll go with S1-Ep18 Recharge. The rescue part is pretty weak (I utterly forgot the plot the first time I watched it tbh), but it has awesome little relationship moments, especially around Virgil and Scott. I love how Virgil grounds the tinies because they're too tired, how Scott's exhaustion brings his main weakness to the light.

13. What's common fanon that you just can't get behind? I don't think I've encountered a character trait fanon that really made me stop, or it was a single time and I erased it from my mind. So I'll go with ships in general. Most ships involving any of the boys or Kayo makes me uncomfortable. Gordon/Penelope is ok since canon, and I can go with some flirty Scott here and then, as long as it's nothing serious, but any other combination usually makes me run away as far as possible. Especially if Virgil is involved. So I'm quite grateful to writers who tag the ships in their fanfics.
