I don't know if you realize how valuable this blog's uploads might be, one day, as a document of this time, place, and lifestyle. But thank you for sharing it. Right now it may only be nostalgia. But soon it could be history. None of the pictures are by themselves particularly unique, or even anything at all, but all together, from one person, they become a view into the past. Into a life.

this is an AWESOME message! I know people enjoy my y2kbeauty tumblr, but I never thought anyone would care or even find these ones. I started uploading these to organize my personal pictures but then people started finding these which has really become fun, especially since the style from this era is coming back (I love that too!). thank you for this message. I had so much fun back then and its been a blast going thru my old pictures and its great that others are enjoying them with me. :)

Ozzfest 2006 Pittsburgh crowd and hillside fires

I was 17 and had only been to one concert before this (NIN) and I just assumed every concert had fires. Ive been to close to 70 or 80 concerts since and haven't seen any more fires. This was fun though!

Fall 2007, WV. My friend on the right tried to start a magazine dedicated to our local punk scene. It never took off, but I was the photographer while her and another friend interviewed the bands and wrote the articles. I dont remember the name of this band, but they were cool. Note the very y2k era bracelets as well as the kid on the steps patches and buttons.

I doubt anyone will see this and I especially doubt anyone in this picture will, but it would be awesome if they did!

Fall 2004, WV (my sophomore year)

I live on an island and it flooded obviously. We left before it got bad and stayed with my aunt and cousins in Ohio. we parked in Ohio and walked across the bridge down the street from my house to see how bad it was.

my purse is from Aeropostale, the phone Im talking on is a Nokia 3300 and Im wearing white and lime green striped Adidas.

I have the purse and the phone in my collection, but havent found the Adidas to repurchase yet

Fall 2006 Reel Big Fish, Pittsburgh

This was my first time seeing them (I was 17) and now Ive seen them 11 times, 9 of which were at Warped Tours ranging from 2007-2018.
