Very rough sketches that started as silly haha funny winry and ed in each others outfits and alphonse with trisha’s hair style

and then it somehow spiraled into a character study of what is ed when he’s not an alchemist? What is winry when she’s not a mechanic? Its such core parts of their character and its FASCINATING to explore what they are without it

because the gates are tied to ed’s in other universes in 2003 i imagine ed not being able to use alchemy in this au would be a result of ed giving up his alchemy at the end of mangahood.

Al would still have his alchemy and it would be so cool to see ed being worried about alchemy taking another one of his family members away from him and al leaving just like hoeneim did

in 2003 al and ed do have some complications that aren’t really addressed regarding how forgiving al is of their dad and it would be so cool to see it explored!

i dont consider myself a 'fashion guru' by any means but one thing i will say is guys you dont need to know the specific brand an item you like is - you need to know what the item is called. very rarely does a brand matter, but knowing that pair of pants is called 'cargo' vs 'boot cut' or the names of dress styles is going to help you find clothes you like WAAAYYYY faster than brand shopping
