choice feminists consistently misattribute insult. feminist analysis is often taken to be infantilization, and doing so ironically shows a lack of maturity. but by far the most insidious thing about choice feminism is how it perverts the concept of empowerment to the point that women go to war fighting for dogshit treatment. they conflate being respected like a man with being like a man, which totally masks the fact that they are ritualistically disempowering themselves in an eternally rigged game.
bdsm choice feminists will say "pain gives me pleasure and i'm an adult!" and yet your male dom hisses and whines when he feels even the tiniest scrape of your teeth on his member. why does men's pleasure centre around their comfort? is he not empowered because he hasn't rationalized and eroticized his discomfort? why are you the exception?
christian choice feminists will say "i have a right to worship whomever i want" and yet your fellow male observers froth at the mouth whenever god is referred to as she. you see male as neutral and male and female as equal, yet your male leaders consistently do not. female is sexual or domestic. they can't stomach calling a metaphysically transcendent being she. why is "she" the exception? why are female biblical heroes exceptions?
muslim choice feminists will say "i get to wear the hijab" and yet male observers are not treated as inherently provocative for existing. why are you the exception?
female rappers or celebrities and women like them that dress in exceedingly impractical and revealing outfits say "my body my choice" and yet their more powerful and rich counterparts never have to do any of that on the red carpet or in their music videos. why are they the exception?
tradwives will say "it's my right to marry" and it is, but why do so few men marry without an education or job? why are they never told to do it young or quit their jobs to raise their kids? why is no man advocating for men's right to be stay-at-home dads? why are you the exception?
pro-makeup choice feminists will say "i choose to do this for fun!" and yet male counterparts have never once felt a need to shave or decorate their faces to minimize facial "flaws." they can walk anywhere, attend any party or job, without any performance or effort outside of hygiene and basic decorum. why are you the exception?
anti-separatist choice feminists will say "i have a right to pursue romantic relationships with men" and yet the men in their dating pool have zero interest in romance itself and pursue women for very different reasons. they don't risk their lives to date you, neither do they tolerate disrespect or disagreement with whoever they're dating. they don't allow themselves to be talked down to. they don't tolerate anyone they don't find exceedingly attractive unless they want a quick fuck. they don't patty-cake their opinions or tone police themselves or praise women for being women or fanboy about female sex characteristics, especially not for women they don't know. they don't defend the integrity of women. why are you the exception?
instead of asking this question, most of them would rather say that it is feminists that are insulting and infantilizing them for pointing out the way they are being insulted and infantilized by men via femininity and the performance of female socialization.
which makes it ironic. because it is immature for an adult to refuse to reflect on their choices. it is immature for an adult to invest in something they have been told time and time again is unstable and rife with fraud with poor returns. holding onto things that harm you because of peer pressure is something we hopefully outgrow post highschool. it is immature to believe something based on unsubstantiated evidence. to refuse to examine something potentially harmful simply because it gives you comfort.
i'm not going to be complicit in validating women's internalized masochism and misogyny because i refuse to agree with any patriarch on what a woman is or should be.

people keep telling me i'm being discriminatory towards trans people. truthfully? i actually believe that they deserve human rights just as much as any other person.
with that being said, i think that trans people absolutely deserve to access healthcare to receive the gender affirming/cosmetic surgeries to look the gender that they want to be perceived as. i believe they have the right to dress however they please, and be able to go out and access entertainment and public spaces without being forced out because of their gender identity. i believe that they deserve housing, mental health care, career opportunities, education, be able to marry/date who they want, and to start a family. i think once you're 18 you should be able to do what you want with your body.
what i don't believe in is the policing of language. watering down the definition of women so it can be anyone (ex: women into 'non men' and the definition of lesbians: 'non men attracted to non men...') making strictly same sex people feel as if they need to be attracted to a member of the opposite sex who is trans identified, and calling them transphobic when they don't feel that attraction. i don't believe in ruining the safety of single sex spaces for the comfort of a trans identified person. i can't support making everything inclusive when there needs to be exclusively female spaces for women. i can't support the 'terfbreaking/dykebreaking' the rape fantasies and assault fantasies of radfems are so popular in these types of circles and i certainly don't agree with harassing people for being critical of the movement.
(really reminds me of christianity. you're absolutely allowed to believe what you want to, but when it starts affecting me then that's they've gone too far)

Thought experiment time because I was thinking about this today.
In a capitalist society, the oligarchs appeal to you by continually trying to make you feel as if there is an underclass beneath you whose life is worse than yours and whom you can feel superior to (in order to keep your class rage under control). This can be immigrants, people with addictions, people with disabilities, gay people, etc.
I wonder if this is part of the constant push for porn. No matter how sad a man’s life is, he can turn on any device and watch a woman be humiliated, raped, forced to eat her own vomit, injured, and demeaned. Pornographers will readily talk about porn as an outlet for male rage against women.
Does capitalism treats women’s suffering as the consolation prize for male suffering? Are porn performers sacrificial lambs to men making societal opiates that make us less empathetic, more prone to disbelieve victims, and more callous in general?
If you watch porn don’t interact with this post lol people under the influence cannot form a clear opinion

trying to socialize with creative women (unfortunately especially lesbians) in my age group is so unbelievably frustrating because we'll be having a nice chat and suddenly they start honking about ohh I have ADHD!! I have autism!!! here are my pronouns I may be assigned female at birth but I'm really bad at being a girl!!!! 🤪 like in your efforts to be unique you've managed to become boring and predictable. and somehow you've decided you're all of these very unique things while acting and presenting and conforming as a typical woman also. really interesting

It's funny how getting called he or sir or whatever by straight people is kinda funny or even endearing sometimes cause it's like lol they thought I was a man that's okay tho it's nbd and they didn't mean anything by it, they just didn't see me properly
But getting they/themed or asked my pronouns or referred to as a man by people my age who are in queer circles is 10x more insulting cause I know they saw me and saw I was a woman, but they don't think I'm doing it properly and the only explanation in their minds is that I'm actively trying not to be a woman

'not all men' crumbles at the feet of the military rape phenomenon. soldiers are the common man in a large group, and where they go, institutionalised mass sexual torture of women and children then appears. even if we didn't inevitably get the legal testimonies, there is this recurring joke amongst military men about how being in the army has made them ride-or-die best friends with men they understand are serial rapists and child molesters, to the point that they would never leave them alone with the women in their family (unless feeling entitled to offer the woman or child as a sacrifice). you bring a group of excited men anywhere, they're going to rape, and if they think you'll find it funny because you're part of the same ethnic group or imperial project, they will quite happily tell you all about it themselves.

So apparently Iowa removed civil rights protections for trans people in housing, employment, education, etc. Call me insane, but I cannot figure out why there is seemingly no middle ground in public opinion or policy between “biological sex isn’t real, 10 year olds should be allowed to medically transition” and “no civil rights protections for trans people.” Why is NO ONE being reasonable about this issue. We are never going to get anywhere if the only two accepted positions are both bonkers. This is so bad.
