Tumblr future

This will be the 100th post on my blog, and unfortuantely, it may turn out to be one of the last.

I joined years ago, not with a desire to actually share content of myself, but as an easy way to follow other people that regularly posted pictures and other abdl content on tumblr. At that point in time there was a really good atmosphere on tumblr, it seemed that everyone could just say what they wanted, post what they wanted, and generally be themselves, with the reblog system assuring that the content you posted would only reach people that were interested in you and your interests anyway. This energy, and the feeling of community that came along with it eventually led me te also creep out of the corner and show more of myself and my interests.

Through the years this is what tumblr has been for me; a place to share who I am, what I like, and what I think the world should be, both about abdl but also about life in general. Regular updates, and perfectly choreographed diaper pictures, I have never really worked out how to do, but looking back there have been posts every so often for quite a while now, and it was quite fun to look nad think back to the different person I was at the time those posts were made. Tumblr, for all of its fautls and in weirdness, I have been very happy to be on this platform and share those things with the people that want to hear about it.

Unfortuantely, with the new changes they are forcing on us, the future is not sure. Tumblr claims it is just explicit sexual content and nudity that is blocked, in an effort to protect minors, but the stick they are using is far too big and will hit anything that stands out. Even my blog, which has never featured nudity or explicit content has many of its posts flagged for sensitive content. In the past, well-managed and community contributing blogs have been deleted without notice because of bad decisions by tumblr staff, and by introducing such a (badly designed) automatic system they are going to cause much more harm then necessary.

Without going into the question of the need for, or usefullness of sucha decission, in the end the problem comes down to trust. A person with adult interests, a person that shows a side of themselves that is not accepted by everyone (may it be abdl, kink, tg, or otherwise), or just a person willing to talk about subjects that others find innappropriate or sensitive, can not trust in tumblr to allow them to express this. Their points of view, their opinion may be silenced in a weak attempt to protect their platform from criticism. They have thrown away the baby with the bathwater (pun intended), so it seems I might need to find a new place as well. Who knows, maybe we are all worrying too much, I won’t delete my blog unless necessary, but neither am I going to hold my breath while finding out what will happen.

Abdl.link seems like the most likely place to find a new home, and will update if I found a new place. I may keep posting with the same irregularity as normal if it seems like tumblr is not crashing as hard as expected, but we will have to wait and see. In the meantime: it was a lovely time y’all, so long, and thanks for all the fish!

Had a really fun time last weekend with @paddedcammy2 visiting my cosy little home for a while. It was a lot of fun to show him the city and enjoy the amazing weather that we have had this early autumn. Of course, as tends to happen with little boys, lots of hugs and cuddles were involved, and many of them padded. ^^

The time flew by so fast  and I’m really going to miss this cute boy's company ( and his really skillfull diaper changes ^^’‘ ), but hopefully the next time we meet is not too far way. See you soon bud!

It was super much fun hanging out with you buddy, and that definitely can be arranged for next time if you wish hard enough. ;p Have a save trip back and see you again soon! ^^

Had such a fun time staying with @dutchbabyboy the past few days! We cooked up a storm, toured the town and saw some dope windmills 😄 wish I wore this onesie the whole time, I LOVE it!

So bummed I’ve only got a couple days left in the Netherlands 😭

Qualgeist was such a fun experience, even a week later it is still just one big awesome/weird memory. Thanks to everyone that helped organize it, and thanks to everyone that attended! There were so many new and wonderfull ABs/DLs/Pups/Daddys and many others there, and I hope to see many of those faces again in Berlin or at another meeting. Especially because I only managed to grap the contact information of a few peeps at the end of the last day ^^’‘ , so everyone that only attendend on of the first two parties, don’t hesitate to message me! ;)

Last weekend we had a big diaper party at the quälgeist in Berlin with around 200 people. It was awesome to see a lot of friends again and meet new people. A big thanks to the qualgeist-berlin for the great organisation and the team, who made it possible to have such an amazing weekend. We’ve been able to get a group picture done with some people. What do you mean, ‘Not dressed for hiking’?! I’ve got everything here that I might need! ….Ummmm, could you help me with these shoelaces though?

Peekabu!

With the hot summer we have been having here in the Netherlands, it is great to go to the beach and just relax and recover ^^. A while back, I was joined in this by the lovely and always well-padded @bernd1980, who also brought along some more peekabu’s (which are awesome btw!). Just a shame that all the other people had the same idea, because it would be lovely to have the same beach fun without the shorts as a cover-up ;)

Heads up to all my followers! This company is saving copies of every single blog on tumblr (And from what I can see on their website also other social media platforms). How this is legal beats me (it probably isn’t, but they don’t get sued as long as they remove the content when people ask them to), but it definitely is extremely undesireable and I emplore everyone to go and get their blogs removed asap.

tumblr mirrors on ‘photosugar’

So idk if others have noticed this before - but it’s the first time I’m seeing this, hence the post.

There’s a website, https://www.photosugar.com, which apparently mirrors all pictures, gifsets etc. people post on their tumblrs (and also other social media sites like twitter and instagram, if I understand it correctly). An eample for a tumblr user, with my name: https://www.photosugar.com/tu/lordhellebore

Now it won‘t turn up anything but a 404 error in my case, because I sent an e-mail to the contact address, which is darius@photosugar.com with the title “My content on your website”:

Hello, it’s come to my attention that you are mirroring all of the posts containing pictures/gifs that I post on my tumblr. I am asking you to stop pulling the content from my tumblr and to delete me from your website. tumblr username is „lordhellebore“ Thank you.

I got a reply consisting of the single word “removed” after just one day, and as you can see, it worked perfectly fine with the informal mail I sent. So if you want them to stop mirroring your tumblr, it seems all you really need to to is this.  

I can’t test the site for all of my mutuals, but I’m tagging a few whom I found on there by random trial & error, and I suggest you look yourself up if you see this post and dislike tumblr mirrors (even if this one is only for pictures, not text).

Good morning everyone, today is a very special day... My birthday to be exact! :D And like all good little boys, I spend this morning thickly diapered. A good reminder that although even though we grow older, we are still young on the inside. ;)

Wow, this is totally amazing! There were so many cute entries in this contest, that I did not expect to win something, I feel like a really lucky baby right now. :D Congratulations to all the other participants, and thanks a lot to Abysitter and all the people that submitted prizes, for making such a fun competition possible. ^^

As we grow up from a young age, we increasingly change our behaviour to addept to social norms and the expectations of other people. Children seek comfort in  stuffed animals, with caregivers and friends because they are scared, hurt, or are just having a bad moment. As adults we are expected to be more constrained, deal with feelings in a different way or just suck it up and keep going, in order to not be seen as emotional or childish. We keep a straight face, when inside we really just want to jump around when happy, cry out from frustration, or pout because of something we think is unfair.  ABDL helps in dealing with emotions that are otherwise left untouched. By dropping the idea that we are adults, we can drop social norms and expectaions and just be the person we feel like on the inside.

Wow, you keep putting out some of the cutest picture sets! I’m sure there is a friendly colleague willing to lend a hand, just don’t be suprised that your computer suddenly has parental controls, and your cofee is now served in a sippy cup ;p

Seeing as you’re still in your very wet overnight diaper, it looks like someone forgot to change even once today… If you can’t remember to change yourself, then maybe I should call your office and make sure one of your more responsible coworkers, or your boss will do it for you.

Awesome! :D, and thanks as well to you Cwis for doing this survey and trying to get a better idea of what makes us all tick. 1500 people responding is quite a lot of ABDL’s, so you definitely did very well in getting people to participate ^^.  Too be honest, I completely forgot that there was a giveaway involded with the survey, but it is a very nice surprise at the start of the weekend, and I look forward to seeing a suspiciously big package in the mail ;p

Roar, Roar Dinosaur!

Hello thee tumblr folks. I took some pictures to show off my new dino themed pajama pants that I made a little while back. I have been thinking for some time about trying to make some pieces of clothing for myself, and PJ’s seemed liek an easy first project, and they turned out great! ^^ They are a bit on the short side though, since the fabric I had was just a little bit too short, but they are very comfortable. Just don’t look at the awfull stitching, there is definitively a lot of things that could be improved, but I am already looking forward to the next project and to learn to do this even better.

On a side note: Does anyone have propblems with tumblr’s new post interface? I seem to not be able to rearrange images as I’d like them too (and used to be able to in the past)
