Okay, so I am reposting this fic that I started writing a few years ago. I was never the biggest HP fan here on Tumblr and never really interacted with the fandom.

I wasn't sure if I should even create any HP content after the things J*R said, but here it is (although I might delete it later).

As many on this fandom I find many characters and their dynamics interesting, and one thing I never see explored much–if at all– is Tonks' relationship with her mother's family outside of Sirius.

I find it funny that the Black family (minus Sirius, Bellatrix, Andromeda and Narcissi) are dead so he gets to inherit everything, but then a few books later we're told that wizards are supposed to live longer than muggles.

So I've decided to let them all live in this universe to explore some dynamics.

PS: I've also added two more kids to the Tonks family which might be a turn off to some people, but their existence made sense for the plot in my head.

Writing Update (with Art!) (10.12.23)

Last week was pretty productive. I got two chapters done and dusted for An Education (Autumn and Winter), which means I've only about three more chapters to go and the story is over! Whoohoo! I also added to the My Adventures in Re-Reading Bleach Blog Experience (Part Thirteen), which is mostly about Kyōraku and how great he is. I doubt I will have as much to report next week since I'm feeling a little worn out, and I have several social things to do this weekend that I'm sure will wear me out a little more. But, we'll see.

In the meantime, I've been feeling a little artsy and sketched two versions of a scene from the latest chapter from An Education. Since I'm not as in love with my art generally speaking (and I'm a bit rusty LOLLL), it is under the cut.

-doesnt even know what a make up is, is valid for that.

-when she was younger she shoveled a bunch of dirt in her mouth as a dare and proceeded to get sick

-she can beat renji in arm wrestling and asserts her dominance that way.

rukia, who’s now flexing her arm: yeah?? and??

-she was the unruly Kuchiki clan member. absolutely no manners and it was Difficult to control her. she’s feral.

-she picked up ‘owo’ speech and now she won’t stop speaking in it.

ichigo: im begging you to stop it’s been a month please stop talking like that

-she cannot sleep anywhere because she snores really loudly and ichigo hasn’t known peace since she decides to stay in his closet

-she can also fall asleep Anywhere. she’s fallen asleep standing up and she was once found on the top of a shelf sleeping.

-she was almost put into the 11th because she would not stop picking fights with people who mad her mad. she’s Absolutely rowdy, a delinquent.

-at one point she had the anime punk ‘haaah?’ as a habit But she stopped. she does bring it up from time to confuse the hell out of people

-she gets super hyper on sugar, completely jittery and with enough she’s physically vibrating. ukitake has tried to calm her but it wont work and kaien encourages her.

-she’s bad with animals for some reason, cats squirm out of her arms and it really makes her sad

-she was a huge prankster growing up with other kids and she still pulls them from time to time but she makes sure they won’t be traced back to her Unless she wishes it

-she likes to eat ice casually, which may or may not have stemmed from her zanpakto

-she swears A Lot and byakuya has tried to make her stop. she had a swear jar but they gave up because it wouldnt stop her.
