omg. the new cat across the courtyard is a "cowardly bully" according to her owners. that's exactly how i'd describe nibbler's interactions with the other courtyard cats (they just ignore her now when she tries to fight)!

After police shot and killed 22-year-old John Crawford in August for picking up a legal BB gun in a Walmart store in Beavercreek, Ohio, police detective Rodney Curd interrogated Crawford’s girlfriend Tasha Thomas for 90 minutes, suggesting she may have helped him take a gun into the store, even though Crawford had no gun. Detective Curd didn’t tell Thomas that her boyfriend Crawford was dead until the end of the interrogation, the Guardian reported. A grand jury decided in September not to indict the officers who killed Crawford.

she was ON this morning. when i left, i called out "BYE RYAN. BYE NIBBLER" at the bottom of the stairs. i heard the thump from the bed to the floor and vinnie walked over and poked her head through the railing. i said goodbye again and started to walk away. the farther i got, the more she poked her head out and looked concerned. so of course i just walked back and forth for a good 5 minutes watching the concerned/relaxed/concerned foot goblin 

right as I was leaving for work I heard a muffled meow

I looked around and found sweet Beanie carrying her sparkle ball up the stairs and meowing at me to toss it while it was still in her mouth

she then dropped it at my feet

so I tossed it down the stairs and she tumbled after it so excitedly

now she is so pleased with herself
