Someone recently commented that Tessie lately has been looking a little uncanny valley ever since she turned 16 and has been allowed to wear the full Rodrigues face of make up, and honestly that was exactly what I was thinking watching Kaylee in this video. I think it's a combo of their awkward smiling thing, all the makeup, and maybe her face just looking different from pregnancy but this video gave me serious automaton vibes.

I have no idea if that's factual but I do believe a lot of Plexus gals are very religious in some way and deeply conservative about it, but imo that has nothing to do with the company making that a priority lmao.
