    v isn't quite sure if he was expecting this response, while yes he really shouldn't - he still needs to answer shark. though there was no way to tell if he knew, or the fact if the eldest arclight brother could give into details. as such, he is aware that any of the slightest altercation can change the future in any sort of way.

his hands by his side, blue orbs stare down at him "would you rather i leave?" his tone unamused, almost wanting to fold his arms over his chest; but does not.

his throat clears "or were you perhaps preferring one of my other brothers?" and by that, he probably was referring more to iv. however, he wouldn't let him know what happened with his brothers, v needed to speak carefully without giving anything away.

"You're-"

No matter when or where, there's no way that Ryouga wouldn't recognize that face. And as he meets their gaze, the surprised, almost vulnerable expression that comes over Ryouga lasts only for a few seconds before it's replaced by a more guarded expression - with his hands quickly shoved in his pockets so they won't betray their tension.

What he says next, though, is perhaps a little odd.

"...Should you be here?"

its my birthday today! i got some cool stuff and had a delicious lunch with my family

     didn't this stranger know that first impressions were important? he didn't have quite a good impression of this guy, what he said wasn't exactly good either. the small frown remained on his face, green orbs looked away momentarily then back again.

"iii," he replied curtly. he wasn't going to give him his real name, that much was obvious. he couldn't tell anyone he didn't trust, and this guy was being rather fishy.

"...sorry, I can tell that came off wrong." He breathes out, looking on still at III. "...let me try again. My name is North. What's your name?" He mentally cursed Ulamog being one of his only talking partners, mostly on the fact that the Deity talks to him way too much.

The smile is still there...intending to be friendly, and he's hoping this fellow person will reciprocate.

     oh a photo of him to sign? how cute. magenta eyes staring down at the guy - he appears confused. has he never asked for an autograph before? "i thought you wanted an autograph?" he asked, his facade remains, though deep down, he was rather annoyed, could he make his mind up?

"you know i can't sign it if i don't have the pen and the card." he replied, his patience wearing thin despite the display "do you want me to sign your name on it too?" he asked, many others did the same, so it'd only be natural for him to ask.

He would nod, pulling off his backpack as he opened it, pulling out something mostly used for autographs: A picture of IV. He smiles gently, also pulling out a black pen. He had learned the hard way from others that Blue Pen was technically not allowed...

He blinks in thought now. Does he just hand it over? Does he have to win it in a duel? Now he's unsure, in thought as he looks at IV, his body movements a mix between handing it over and holding onto it. He is very, very nervous.

"Pegasus!" A stunned Mai exclaimed, gasping with overflowing gratitude as he would then hand her the brand new card. It was beautiful! And all for her!

She took it gently, gazing down at it before looking back up at Pegasus.

"Are you sure? I can't just take this!"

      pegasus beamed, he was being rather generous today and did want to give this to her as a gift. it was special after all, he really just couldn't allow her to pay him after that situation in duelist kingdom.

"why of course you can!" he replied happily, placing a hand on his hip "i possibly couldn't accept money from you. so please dear mai, i insist."
