what do you think lisa and nelsons couple costume would be

omg this is from over two weeks ago but i ran into it while looking for a different ask i got a while back and now i have to answer because it reminded me of something that i don't recall ever sharing publicly before

i actually have this sketch of them as eddie and columbia from rocky horror that i drew all the way back in 2018 (throwing in bart as rocky, let me explain lmao)

the earliest concept i had of Those Springfield Kids was the school putting on a rocky horror high school production that was super watered down and cringe so parents wouldn't be scandalized about it. nelson borrowed lisa's sax for the part. bart auditioned for rocky only because he was planning to moon everyone on stage as a prank. martin was dr. frank-n-furter and it was supposed to be a very liberating and rebellious experience for him (he's very queer but his parents are very uptight)

maybe if/when i ever come back to the comic i could squeeze this whole subplot in there because some of the jokes i wrote for it were actually not that bad lmao

Raven and Gwen feel like the same character in different fonts. I also have a Courtney and Apple (lineart only) though I feel the connection with their characters r only surface level.

Also un-fun fact, the story Duchess swan is from changes a lot, though they r simular and depending on the version either she/her lover/both die.
