She was so much better at being alone; being alone came more naturally to her. She led a life of deliberate solitude, and if occasional loneliness crept in, she knew how to work her way out… Or even better, how to sink in and absorb its particular comforts.
Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney, The Nest (via wordsnquotes)

I will never say the things that I want to say to you. I know the damage it would do. I love you more than I hate my loneliness and pain.

Wanting to be ignored, I had gone up to the Girl Cave to visit with the cat. Two creatures wanting solitude while sharing company. The dogs began barking, in a pensive tone that typically meant an accident is near. When I let them out, I discovered the accident was a skunk who decided to make itself known when we interrupted its evening commute home. We were able to catch a glimpse of the sunset breaking through the storm clouds as they drifted north. #grunge #hipstamatic #dylan #americana #talesfromsuburbia #doglife #genxandproud

sometime later, an unidentified person snuck into the graveyard and chiseled an inscription, the epitaph read only one word… ‘pals’
