Everyone's talking about Liams writing and making good points about visual writing but one thing I love about Murder Drones is how unafraid it is of just using tropes, change part of it's mind or be predictable.
It's like completely okay with just holding off on twists until they matter. It makes the story flow natural af
"These two will fall in love now" okay
"badass character will have a fakeout death" (not copium) okay
"Nice character will comfort character who became a monster" okay
It makes everything feel super familar and comfortable to a level which adds a lot to when the show decides to screw with your past preceptions
