hi, i know it's been a week but i wanted to apologize for coming at you so aggressively and persistently when everything was going down. no beating around the bush, no overexplaining. i was completely wrong and i am truly sorry. you are entitled to feel your feelings. i hope this hasn't ruined tumblr for you. Have a good one.

i appreciate your apology. the fact you came forward means a lot, but i wish i could thank you privately. my tumblr experienced has been tarnished some, and i'm unsure of where i want to stand on this platform anymore, but it is what it is and there is no hiding from that.

those are only a few things I've heard being spread about me. trying to make someone else look guilty does not make anyone else innocent

"the block button exists" I blocked them, they kept following others and multiple people were uncomfortable.

"a hypocrite for writing ships with freshly 18/18 year olds in multiple scenarios" I never stated you couldn't write ships. I have not once said do not ship eighteen year olds. but I expect people to not be inappropriate. I have a total of two in character posts on this blog

"they wrote minors" again, I have never said writing minors is not okay. I have written plenty. but I have always advocated for people to not write ANY weird content with them as they are children.

"people have sex, get over it." I am very supportive of people exploring the sexual side of their muses. however, not when those muses are eighteen. you can acknowledge your muse has a sex life without writing about it in explicit detail. there is no shame in sex and I find the suggestion I think otherwise to be deplorable.

"they had so and so number of blogs the passed year". and? everyone blog hops. everyone has multiple muses. that is not a crime by any instance.

"shipped an age gap where someone was 17/18 and the other was 20." I never wrote anything explicit with them, even after the actress and the script were leaked to confirm she was eighteen. I've also seen accusations of me posting ns.fw in her pinterest board, which I find odd considering I wrote her in June of last year for a week and that link has been dead since. I didn't even write on her blog to begin with

"left the tumblr 'permanently' a while ago" and after being in constant contact with one of my friends, I finally felt comfortable enough to come back when I had the time. it was only a few weeks ago I took my blog off private.

why are people trying to dig into my old blogs? why are you trying to find things to use against me and lie about? tell me why I was the one who acknowledged someone's behaviour wasn't okay, and now I'm being villanized for speaking up. I never said anyone can't write minors, no one said you can't ship eighteen year olds if that's what you want. all i have wanted was for people to be appropriate. posting things about me and backtracking because there is no proof is childish. trying to find anything about me to use against me is abhorrent. you are showing your true colours.

and also, don't tell me to apologise when the majority of that posts likes and traction come from people defending them. there is no power imbalance from my side, I have no leeway in this community. don't act like I have ruined anything for them when they all continue to go on as normal

I'd like to preface by saying I've made up no lies about anyone, the screenshots are all there. minor, eighteen. that was not the point. writing explicit material about high schoolers was. writing explicit material about eighteen year olds, as a group of fully grown adults was. if anything, I have seen more lies and speculation shared about me without ANY proof and people trying to shift the narrative than I have seen any accountability held. in fact, the joke that many people have made about this situation is absolutely disgusting. I am not going to apologise. "the block button exists" i blocked them, yet they were still making multiple people uncomfortable and no one wanted to speak up. if they want to discuss it and why I felt the need to make that post, I'm open to it. but don't tell me I am the one that needs to apologise.

what have I done wrong? I acknowledged some heinous behaviour, told the few people I follow to not interact with me if they interact with them as it made me uncomfortable and a number of others.

no one sexualized a minor. that has been proven. you made a baseless call out for absolutely no reason and worse, you straight up lied. you owe a hell of an apology.

it was not baseless. and you disregard my own words, i blatantly stated that even if michael was eighteen, it is unacceptable for someone 21+ to be writing such explicit material about a teenager. when I said that I am willing to discuss this privately, I did not mean make a burner account to hide behind because you refuse to message me like a civil person and demand I apologise to someone when all I did was bring attention to what they were partaking in.

do not interact with me if you follow,  write with,  or are friends with velvet aka @/comicbookcreature  ( in addition to that,  gareththegreat and zloslwy who also have mentions in this post for abhorrent behaviour.  i have not listed everyone i have found issue with over this,  as it would become far longer than it already is ).

below you will find evidence as to why this makes me so uncomfortable.  i have bitten my tongue about this issue for too long,  and seeing as no one else will acknowledge it,  i’ve taken it upon myself.  trigger warnings for the sexualization of minors,  ageing up characters that are canonically underage,  and significant age gaps.

i’ll start off by saying they write michael from t.he lost boys, who is canonically described as “late teens”, however there is nothing to suggest he is eighteen or older. in fact, him being younger is alluded to constantly in canon as he does not want to return to high school to finish it.  in the novel,  which velvet seems to be aware of as they reference his old high school love interest laurie,  it ends with him returning to high school and finishing it after everything ends.

why is this an issue? velvet writes michael as eighteen, a high school graduate at the beginning of the movie, which he would not be at that point in canon.  i have not seen anything of note distinguishing the two different points in time,  so i’m only left to assume they write him as eighteen by default.

now,  that isn’t what i find an issue with.  the sexualization of him,  the constantly post about michael’s sexual proclivities and interests in detail,   and smutting with others consistently is what i have an issue with.  and regardless of whether or not michael is eighteen,  the sexualization of him done at the hands of someone who is 21+ is revolting and unacceptable.  these are only a few examples i found :

if you go onto their blog,  it’s not hard to find things of a similar nature. again,  this is a boy who has not yet finished high school.   now we move onto another issue,  regarding both gareththegreat and zloslwy.  

gareth is canonically 16-17.  it was referenced in his first appearance in stranger things as having a year and a half left until he graduates,  nothing to imply he was held back whatsoever.  the evidence : 

so,  tell me why billie is writing him as eighteen?

it doesn’t matter if you are unaffiliated with the fandom,  the show,  the writers.  he is not eighteen years old.  and not only that,  billie has not been shy of writing smut with comicbookcreature.  quite the opposite.   for billie,  a grown 30 year old,  to have stated in their rules not to be weird with minors,  i find this pretty fucking weird.

now onto zloslwy.  they write stiles s.tilinski as a 32 year old.  i’ll leave it you to decide why a 32 year old being shipped with an 18 year old and writing explicit content is bad.  i don’t think elaborating on that is necessary.

you can give any excuse you want,  i don’t want to hear it.  this is unacceptable and if you interact with any of these people,  unfollow me.  i want nothing to do with you.  thank you.
