yes, just yes for Blake, cause I feel like Blake would give orca vibes if he was a siren since personally I headcanon him as transgender(ftm) his tail would be 16 – 26ft. Long(trans-masculine)since Orcas, also known as killer whales, are the largest dolphins and apex predators with no natural enemies. They are known for their black and white coloring and are highly intelligent, able to coordinate hunting strategies. Orcas can grow to 9.8 meters long and weigh up to 5,500 kg, with males being larger than females. Male orcas have the largest dorsal fin of any marine mammal, reaching up to 1.8 meters tall, he would be taller then girls but would have the same dorsal fin as female orcas would, personally I see him as an heir of royal bloodlines, the future monarch of a frozen Atlantic kingdom below the freezing depths that are below 0° yet he is able to survive, let alone live in the Arctic Ocean since orcas are most common in cold, temperate waters

pov: ben drowned meets lost silver but he’s a siren/merman(characters in this fanfic are 18+)

in the night, on the docks ashore down by the beach ben drowned hears a noise…. It was almost as if something or someone was luring him in with something. Singing perhaps?

it was a young boy with mulled-whine black hair that has a quiff, his colors are a monochromatic black/white, pale white but fair skin, black eye-scleras and blood rose-red coloured eyes, usually sitting on a rock above the sea as his gothic, black mermaid tail was shimmering in the moonlight and his melodic voice whispers of his siren song from the depths, a hint of sadness in his song…. Ben drowned took a step into the water just as the young siren heard him approach, Lost Silver's eyes widen with a mix of curiosity and trepidation. He ceases his singing momentarily, the haunting melody fading into the depths. With graceful movements, he propels himself off the rock and into the sea, putting a bit of distance between them…

Ben drowned: “w-wait! I won’t hurt you…” he said slightly panicked but kept his cool as his legs were in the water and was were the mysterious siren was sitting at, looking in every direction to where he could’ve propelled himself off and went

Siren!lost silver: “……?” the mysterious siren’s pokes out of the water as his curiosity has piqued, he swims closer again, circling cautiously around the hylian that is identical to Link, but with black eye-sclera and blood red eyes with inquisitive eyes. A playful smirk tugs at the corner of his mouth as he observes Ben drowned’s striking features and unique hylian-like adaptations to the waters

ben drowned was a bit nervous yet calms down as lost silver got closer, his heart fluttering by seeing lost silver swim around him, not swimming away despite how he was spooked earlier Ben drowned: “you’re…. Not swimming away from me…?” His curiosity piqued as he looks at the enchanting beauty from the abyss 

Lost Silver tilts his head, his playful smirk growing wider. He swishes his tail flirtatiously, coming closer to Ben and reaching out a tentative hand to touch his unique, scaled chest. His voice takes on a more conversational tone, though still melodic

Siren!lost silver: “my name is lost silver…. What about you handsome…?” He asks as he placed a webbed hand gently on the left side of Ben’s chest and nuzzled into his neck

Ben’s breathe hitched as he felt lost silver’s gentle but tempting touch upon him, his voice was husky as he answers what was asked of him

Ben drowned: “my name is Ben drowned….” He answered as he is in a daze under the siren’s touch it feels like he is in an underwater heaven just by the siren’s touch alone…. His eyes had fluttered shut at the warmth of his breath

Lost silver’s eyes follow pursuit as he leans in to passionately kiss Ben drowned on the lips his lips only opened slightly already giving permission to let Ben slide his tongue into his throat as Ben does the same, wrapping his arms around lost silver’s waist and back, he tangled his tongue around his tongue as lost silver wrapped his arms around his neck with one hand Ben drowned at the back of his head returning the kiss with equal passion their hearts flutter with love and desire after the kiss lost silver has gently pulled away from the kiss he smiles softly with half-lidded eyes

Siren!lost silver: he softly giggles “what a kisser you are…. see you soon, big boy…~” his voice was as melodious as when Ben first heard it, but it was also now mixed with desire as he dives into the water and swims away as each up and down motion from his tail creates gentle waves and currents as he disappears from the water

nowhere to be seen Ben opens his eyes seeing that the siren he was locked in a passionate kiss with has vanished into the sea to never be seen again, at least…. For now but who knows for how long though? Only time shall tell

Ben drowned: “h-huh….?” He looks around seeing the siren, lost silver has now disappeared into the ocean his heart fluttering after that kiss, his cheeks flushed with a soft hue of red “y-yeah….” He returned to the land from where he came and then looks back at the rock knowing that surely, one way or another, no matter how many days, weeks, months or years it will take… his newly found love, lost silver will return to the same spot he first met him “see ya…. My darling siren of the night….” Ben had said quietly out of the night

as Ben returned to the slender mansion, he was in his room writing in his journal about his encounter with a mysterious siren named “lost silver” describing how beautiful he was, how his gothic, black tail shimmers in the night and how enchanting but melancholic it is only to hear the same voice singing to him in the night, echoing within the winds

Ben drowned looks out from his window, as his heart began to flutter again he softly smiles knowing that is the same siren singing his heart out to him as he shows how deeply and madly in love he has fallen for been for he feels the same way Ben drowned know feels towards him, how he wants to be his lover for eternity in the form of a song

Pt.3 the Hoenn region

(This is my personal opinion on what their tails would look like)

We all know May is a slender young girl with fair skin and long, thick mousy brown hair with thick side tails, and with a side fringe falling across her forehead. And the color of Her eyes are blue well, well the cardinal tetra seems to fit her just well you see, The cardinal tetra (Paracheirodon axelrodi) is a freshwater fish of the family Characidae of order Characiformes. It is native to the upper Orinoco and Negro Rivers in South America. Growing to about 3 cm (1.2 in) total length, the cardinal tetra has the striking iridescent blue line characteristic of the genus Paracheirodon laterally bisecting the fish, with the body below this line being vivid red in color, hence the name "cardinal tetra". since Brendan is a tall, thin boy with very dark brown hair which is covered by a white beanie and has a slight tan with greyish-blue eyes I feel like the red-black triplefin would be a natural selection for what his fish tail would look like, especially since The red-black triplefin (Tripterygion tripteronotum) is a species of fish in the family Tripterygiidae, the threefin blennies. It is widespread in the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea. In the Black Sea it occurs off the coasts of the Crimea and Ukraine

Because Wally is a young, slightly small for his age, skinny and frail boy with messy green hair that sticks up, pale skin, and bluish gray eyes, The Green Texas Cichlid is perfectly fitting for Wally, This cichlid is native to Rio Grande, Texas and Northern Mexico. They are known for being aggressive and should only be kept with other aggressive fish that are similar in size. They are omnivorous and eat prepared and frozen foods, flake food, and Cichlid pellets

Green Texas cichlids (Herichthys carpintis) are a type of freshwater fish that are known for being aggressive and easy to breed they are pearly green in color and can grow up to 12 inches long. they are aggressive and should be kept with other aggressive fish that are similar in size. They need a tank of at least 50 gallons with lots of room to swim and hiding spots. Floating plants are recommended because they tend to dig and uproot other plants they are omnivorous and eat prepared and frozen foods like bloodworms, tubifex, ocean plankton, flake food, and cichlid pellets. they are prolific egg layers (or in the case of merfolk, prolific birth givers) and both parents protect the fry males reach maturity at about 4 inches long and females at about 3 inches though Wally is a sweet boy but maybe he is a bit aggressive!

For gold/ethan it would be a mix between the phoenix goldfish and the fantail goldfish, all to REALLY add some flare to his personality y’know? especially since The Fantail is a goldfish that possesses an egg-shaped body, a high dorsal fin, a long quadruple caudal fin, and no shoulder hump. It is similar to the Ryukin, and is relatively common in western countries. The Fantail Goldfish is the base for many fancy goldfish species. and the Phoenix goldfish - It is similar to the eggfish, except that they have longer fins. It is developed from the eggfish goldfish. They have long tails and fins that resemble a veil and cause them to be slow-moving. They are prone to fin nipping because many other fish are attracted to their long flowing fins.

Silver on the other hand, he would most likely be a siren, so his would be the barracuda mixed with a great white shark, to which when you think about it his siren song would lead poor unfortunate folks to their doom if he does sing and as the only siren he would feel a bit insecure about it too… since sirens are known to be feared deities of the sea and he is a mix between a barracuda and a great white shark since well… The great white shark, also known as the white shark or white pointer, is a large mackerel shark that lives in the coastal waters of all the world's major oceans. It is the only known surviving species of its genus, Carcharodon. Great white sharks have a conical snout, large pectoral and dorsal fins, and a crescent-shaped tail. Their backs and sides are dark blue, gray, or brown, while their bellies are whitish and Barracudas are large, predatory fish with a slender, cylindrical body that allows them to move through the water easily. They are shiny blue-gray above, fading to silver and white below, and usually have dark spots on their lower sides. Barracudas are also known as the "Tiger of the Sea" because of their sharp teeth and strong jaws. They are solitary predators that live in reefs and shallows in the Caribbean and Florida so it would make sense for poor silver to be a mix between two aquatic predators

I feel like Kris would have the powder blue tang as a fish tail which would mean she would have a diurnal activity. And although she is social but serious in her nature. As for the fact that she's brave and does everything to help others, the fish itself is solitary, territorial and aggressive with other surgeonfish. In cases where food is plentiful, it may feed in shoals, but in cases of scarcity, and just like said fish she may compete individually for food and may use her surgeon's scalpel as a defensive weapon. A bit of a bonus due to Acanthurus leucosternon, commonly known as the blue surgeonfish, powder blue tang or powder-blue surgeonfish, is a species of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the family Acanthuridae, the surgeonfishes, unicornfishes and tangs. This species is found in the Indian Ocean. So she would mostly be at home in the Indian oceans

Then last but not least, Lyra! The mahi-mahi would DEFINITELY fit her if she was a mermaid especially since fish is recognizable by its bold gold-and-green coloration that is accented with patches of blue and silver. Mahimahi vary in size and weight, males being larger than females on average, Males have a large, protruding forehead, whereas the head of females are more round and males being larger than females on average, which would make her smaller then some guys with gold and silver being the exceptions to being smaller then her. Fully grown adults often measure 1 meter (3.3 feet) long, the largest individuals growing to 2.1 meters (7 feet) in length. Adults weigh about 14 kg (31 pounds); however, many mahimahi are heavier. The largest mahimahi landed weighed 39.5 kg (87 pounds). And just like The mahi-mahi, also known as the common dolphinfish, she would a ray-finned mermaid that lives in tropical, subtropical, and temperate waters. The name mahi-mahi comes from the Hawaiian language and means "very strong". The fish she has the tail of is known for its iridescent coloring and is popular for commercial and sport fishing. Mahi-mahi is a popular seafood item and can be found in restaurants and seafood markets around the world

Pt.2 the kanto trio!

The northern red snapper (Lutjanus campechanus) is a marine fish that lives in the western Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, and the Gulf of Mexico. It is a popular game fish and a highly sought-after food. The IUCN Red List lists the northern red snapper as vulnerable globally. The northern red snapper has a red body and fins, red iris, and an anchor-shaped patch of teeth on the roof of its mouth. Fertilized eggs float on the surface and hatch within a day. so I would see this fish being red’s fish tail as it would only make sense because Red snappers can grow to about 40 inches, weigh up to 50 pounds and live more than 50 years and will begin to reproduce when they are about two years old, spawning from May to October along rocky ledges or coral reefs as the Fertilized eggs float on the surface and hatch within a day. Only a month later, the young fish settle out of the water column in shallow waters, and as they get older, they move to structured habitat where they will mature and eventually move to the deeper waters of the Gulf. (Though I think mermaids would give birth to living breathing young like mammals) Bigger, older red snappers produce many more eggs than young ones. One 24-inch female red snapper (about 8 years old) produces as many fish as 212 17-inch females (about 5 years old) Most red snapper caught in the Gulf today are only between four and six years old.

Betta smaragdina, commonly known as the emerald green betta, blue betta or Mekong fighting fish (Thai: ปลากัดเขียว or ปลากัดอีสาน) is perfect for leaf for it is a species of gourami native to Southeast Asia.
