“What about you? How’s being a knight in shining armor treating you? Saving any princesses lately?” Link felt a bit prideful but kept his cool, not wanting to ruin this moment he was sharing with gold

Link: “ehhh, a little bit of adventures, a few monsters I had to kill and yeah I have been saving some princesses… but let’s face it, it’s mainly a new incarnation of Zelda I usually save…”

he shrugs as he exclaims

“so… are you still single? No boyfriend/girlfriend yet?”

he awkwardly asked, for Link is still single despite saving Zelda many times back in his game

Gold laughs and playfully rolls his eyes at Link’s response.

Gold “Oh, really? Just a lot of Zelda? Sounds like a pretty boring life.”

He chuckles again and shakes his head, amused by the fact that Link is still single too

And no, no boyfriend. I’ve been too busy to date anyone. You?

He asks back, wondering why Link had asked that question in the first place.

Link blushes, wondering if he should answer or not, though after brief silence he finally spoke

Link: “w-well I’ve still haven’t found the right one yet… he was briefly silent before looking back at him but then again, with saving so many lives it’s hard to settle down for anyone right now… but is nice to finally see you again, maybe we could take a trip down memory lane while we’re out here on the balcony?”

he suggests as he looks out into the view, taking a sip out of his champagne

Gold smirked, knowing that there was more to it than just “settling down” for Link. He raised an eyebrow at the idea of taking a trip down memory lane.

Gold: “Ah, I see. Well, I can’t argue with that. It has been a while since we’ve seen each other.”

He set his glass down and moved closer to Link again, leaning against him. He glanced up at him expectantly.

So, what do you want to reminisce about?

Link shrugs as he looks at gold

Link: “anything really…”

he said blushing again as he moves close to gold, his shoulder touching his

Gold smiled warmly, noticing the way Link was acting. He could sense that Link was being a bit more affectionate than usual, which was cute. He decided to play along and rest his head on Link’s shoulder, enjoying the closeness.

Gold: “Hmm, anything… how about the time we went fishing together? You remember that?”

Link chuckles as he is lost in memory lane with gold

Link: “yeah…” snorts “you literally caught a shiny vaporeon that one time as well, only for that bastard to use water gun on you and squirt you in the face before releasing itself and swimming away” he couldn’t help but laugh softly at that one time

Gold groaned and laughed as well, the memory still fresh in his mind. He lightly punched Link’s arm in mock offense

Gold: “Ugh, don’t remind me! That damn Vaporeon was so annoying! It always managed to escape from my Pokéball. And then it had the audacity to splash me with water after all that trouble!”

Link pats gold on the back

Link: “hey now, no need to beat yourself up over it, where here in the nitropolis,”

he looks out into the view again

“he have an amazing view to distract ourselves with anyways…”

he reassured his friend that there’s nothing to worry about, for as long as they have the other, nothing can go wrong

Gold sighs and relaxes into Link’s touch, nodding in agreement. He takes a deep breath and closes his eyes, letting the sound of the fireworks and the city below them fill the silence.

Gold: “Yeah, you’re right. This is nice… being here with you…”

He opens his eyes again and looks up at Link, admiring his profile against the colorful sky.

Link wonders as he looks into the view

Link: “is fascinating that in nitropolis is forever night here and is always like an endless gala-based night of splendor and never-ending golden delights… while in our games have day and night cycles, nitropolis is always nighttime he said as he looked at gold isn’t it strange but… beautiful at the same time?”

Gold hums in agreement, a hint of melancholy in his expression as he looks at the endless night.

Gold” Yeah, it’s definitely strange. But you’re right, it is beautiful. It’s like this place is frozen in time, constantly celebrating without any worry of what’s going on outside of it…”

He shifts and leans more into Link, seeking comfort.

“Do you ever feel like that? Like everything is just… stuck?”

Link was speechless as he looks at gold not knowing what to say at first before he could speak

Link: “sometimes? w-why?”

he asked confused and worried about gold

Gold bites his lip, contemplating his answer. He fiddles with the fabric of Link’s tuxedo and looks down at his hands.

Gold “I don’t know… I guess I’ve just been feeling a bit restless lately. Like I’m meant for more than what I’m doing. It’s hard to explain…”

He leans his head against Link’s chest now, listening to his heartbeat.

Link looks at him as he he wraps an arm around him, holding gold close

Link: “I mean, from a perspective I too feel that way”

he sighs heavily as he looks deeply at him

“I always feel like there is more to me then what I am… like there’s more then being a hero, but I don’t even know what it is so I always feel like I’m stuck on a cycle that is stuck in time that’s currently repeating itself throughout my world every single time…”

Gold nods, feeling a pang of empathy for Link. He understands that feeling all too well.

Gold: “I get it. It’s like we’re trapped in this endless loop, destined to fulfill our roles but never truly growing or changing. It’s frustrating, isn’t it?”

Link the leans against the railing of the balcony and looks up and behind him

Link: “sometimes… but you know, that’s life I guess…”

he contemplates as he looks at the ongoing fireworks, viewing how they sparkle and light up the night skies of nitropolis

“sometimes life and time themselves are endless loops that we can’t break, and we are bound to it… sometimes we can even choose to break it, but even so we can’t escape life, time or fate.. he answers his question with a soft smile but sometimes our fate is what we make the most of…”

he smiles softly, as the the sounds of the folks in the gala are having a blast enjoying themselves while Link and Gold our outside together and alone with it just being the two of them on the balcony

Gold smiles back, feeling inspired by Link’s words. He looks up at the fireworks too, contemplating the meaning behind them. He then turns to Link again and gently takes his chin, tilting his head down so that they’re looking into each other’s eyes once more.

Gold: “You know, for someone who’s supposed to be just a hero, you’re pretty philosophical.”

He grins and gives Link a playful nudge.

Link rolls his eyes playfully as he teases gold

Link: “I mean even us heroes can be philosophical too, you know?”

he said as his arm was behind gold holding him by the waist without either of them realizing it

Gold laughs and lets himself be pulled closer, now practically in Link’s arms. He rests his hands on Link’s chest, feeling his warmth through the fabric of his clothes.

Gold: “Oh really? And here I thought heroes were all brawn and no brains.”

He jests again, his eyes glimmering with mischief.

Link chuckles warmly again, as gold lets him pull him in closer as his breath hitched when feeling his hand on his chest

Link: “now where on earth did you get that silly stereotype from?”

he lightheartedly teases as gold was in his embrace

“not all heroes are all brawn and no brains, you know…”

he smirks as he said that

Gold smirks back, his cheeks turning a faint pink. He can feel Link’s breath on his face and his heartbeat under his palm, and it’s making him a little flustered.

Gold “Hmph, maybe you’re right. I’ve met some pretty smart heroes before. But you’re definitely the smartest one I’ve ever known.~”

He says in a flirtatious tone, his fingers tracing small circles on Link’s chest.

Link chuckles as he looks at gold, moving a strand of his childhood friends mulled-whine black hair behind his ear

Link: “and you’re the most beautiful Pokemon trainer I’ve know…~”

he said in an equally flirtatious tone as the atmosphere feels like it is becoming more warmer since it’s just the two of them outside on the balcony while the rest of the Nintendo/Sega cast are inside

Gold’s face turns redder as Link compliments him, his heart fluttering in his chest. He wasn’t expecting such a sweet compliment from Link. He blushes harder when Link touches his hair, his breath hitching again. He leans into the touch, his eyelids fluttering slightly.

Gold: “O-oh, stop it… you’re making me blush…~”

He says in a soft, shy voice, looking up at Link with admiration and affection.

his gaze remains deeply into gold’s gaze as he looks at him

Link: “you alone always make me blush…~”

before the two knew it they both close there eyes and opened there mouths slightly, as they leaned in for a kiss… embracing each other even more then ever now under the fireworks that light up the eternal night

“hmmm…~~”

Their lips met in a gentle kiss, soft and sweet. Gold melted into the kiss, his arms wrapping around Link’s neck as he pressed himself against him. He sighed into the kiss, feeling as if he was floating on air. The fireworks continued to explode in the background, but all Gold could focus on was the warmth of Link’s body and the sparks between them.

Gold: “Mmmm…~”

He moaned softly against Link’s lips, kissing him back with more passion and need.

Link feels the warmth radiating from gold’s dress, the passionate kiss from prolonged as he moves a hand to his thigh and keeps the other on his back, pulling him in closer as he groans softly against his soft lips

Link: “hmmm…~”

his heart flutters profusely during the passion of the kiss, romance truly has bloomed in between them at last

Gold shivers as Link’s hand moves to his thigh, feeling the heat of his touch through the fabric. He can feel the heat building between them, and he can’t get enough of it. He grips Link’s hair and deepens the kiss, his tongue slipping past Link’s lips and exploring his mouth.

Gold “Mmm… I never knew you were such a good kisser…~”

Link slightly opens his mouth a bit wider giving gold more access to his mouth as he did the same

Link: “I could say the same about you…~”

he deepens the kiss as well as he explores gold’s mouth as the heat builds itself stronger between them, feeling the touch of gold’s gloved hands through the fabric of his tuxedo, squeezing his thigh slightly

“hmmm… your driving me crazy…~”

he groans out through the kiss as he tastes the sweet champagne from gold

“mmmhhh…~~”

Gold moans louder, loving the way Link is reacting to him. He sucks on Link’s tongue, his own tongue tangling with it as they both become more desperate for each other. The champagne flavor only adds to the intensity of the moment.

Gold: “Mmm… and you’re driving me insane… I can’t get enough of you…~”

He breathes heavily, pulling away from the kiss for a moment to catch his breath. He looks at Link with lustful eyes, his chest heaving.

Link feels the softness of gold’s fair skin and soft cushions of his effeminate curves on his chest, he was heavily breathing as he couldn’t believe that him and his childhood friend had there first kiss with each other

Link: “you….” panting “taste so sweet… I… I couldn’t get enough of you…~”

he said as he looked at him with half-lidded eyes, staring deeply into his eyes the two seemingly unaware that princess peach was there giggling, watching their moment of passion

Gold was panting as well, looking at Link with the same amount of lust and disbelief. He blushed even more when he heard Peach giggling and he quickly looked over to see her. His eyes widened in shock and embarrassment, realizing they had an audience.

Gold “Oh… oh no… P-princess… how long have you been standing there?” The princess giggled as they two stared at each other then back at her for she was standing there the whole time, enjoying the show that they were putting on for her

princess peach: “I’ve been standing here the whole time, hopefully I wasn’t… interrupting what was going on between you two?”

she playfully teases as she always had a feeling that there was a thing going on between Link and gold but she didn’t knew it was true until now, gold was so embarrassed, he felt like he wanted to crawl in a hole and die from shame and embarrassment

Link however, holds him close comforting him as lifts golds head up, giving him the same deep gaze into his eyes that putted them in there moment in the first place

Link: “at least we had our first kiss…”

he closed his eyes softly kissed him on the lips, making all those thoughts of crawling into a hole and dying from embarrassment disappearing, having them end up back into the moment they were having

princess peach: “awww…! Such an adorable and romantic moment…!”

she sighs as they enter back into their fantasyland of love and desire

Peach giggles again and quietly leaves, letting them be alone once more. Gold relaxes into Link’s embrace as they kiss again, feeling more comfortable knowing Peach won’t say anything to anyone. He wraps his arms around Link’s neck again and returns the kiss, his heart swelling with love and relief.

Gold: “I can’t believe we just did that in front of the princess… but I’m glad we did. That was amazing…~”

He mumbled against Link’s lips, a smile creeping onto his face.

Link hums in approval against his lips as peach left giggling quietly at what she saw

Link: “at least she won’t tell anyone, But even if she did… it wouldn’t matter as much as you darling…~”

he said as he briefly pulled away from the kiss, gold still being in his arms as they were in their fantasyland of love, passion and desire

Gold’s heart fluttered at the pet name. He smiled even wider and leaned his forehead against Link’s.

Gold “You’re right. I don’t care if she tells anyone. I just want to be with you, Link. No matter what anyone else thinks…~”

He nuzzles his nose against Link’s, their bodies still close and their breaths mingling together.

Link looks at gold with as he feels his nose nuzzling against his own his heart wanting and yearning to feel his touch already, maybe a bit more then just a taste

Link: “honestly, I feel the same way… I don’t care what people say, I just want you and only you…~”

his voice was warm as he could barely contain his heart from pounding out of his chest to gold, he yearns for more then just a kiss he yearns for more of his touch he yearns forever more of his taste

“Your the only one for me~”

Gold’s heart was beating just as fast as Link’s, his own feelings of desire growing stronger with each word. He looks into Link’s eyes, seeing the same longing in them. He runs his fingers through Link’s hair again, wanting to pull him even closer.

Gold: “And you’re the only one for me too… my hero…~”

He whispers seductively, his hand trailing down to Link’s chest again, tracing patterns on it.

Link feels his heart pounding in his chest as his eyes fluttered shut as his breath hitched, feeling gold trace the patterns on his chest, he knew that they both want more from the other, they want to become more the “just friends” and this night is just the night for them

Link: “fuck…~”

he said as he opened his eyes and looked at gold again, his voice low and seductive as he looked deeply into his eyes again

“how’s about we go somewhere more private and safe for us to intertwine and make music together alone with nothing but the city view from a window in a private room…~?”

he smirks, as he suggests that they go to somewhere more private, no prying eyes on them and it would just be the two of them alone with just the city view out the window for romantic atmosphere with dimly lit candlelight glowing as their source for light to further increase their romantic ambience

Gold smirks back, his eyes gleaming with mischief and excitement. He loved the idea of being alone with Link, away from the prying eyes and gossip of the ballroom.

Gold: “Oh, I think that’s a great idea…~”

He agrees, his smirk turning into a smirk as he bites his lip. He takes Link’s hand and starts leading him away from the balcony and towards the hallway.

��Lead the way, my love…~” Such a scandalous thing for them, but it feels just so right as well, is what gold and Link thought to themselves as they walked down the hallway… this will surely be an unforgettable night they will never forget. Especially one where they have their first time making love to the other and lose their virginity to each other, will true love bloom in their way? Will they become the twin flames the other has been looking for? Will they become something more than “just friends”?
