P R E V  Deimos grit his teeth, it was pointless trying to keep up his act now.

Playing it casual just wasn’t working in his favour today. To be fair, he had been lurking around for a good thirty minutes before he was even noticed, which wasn’t enough in his eyes. However, he had no useful information to report back to Cain with, he didn’t want to deal with that overgrown emo kid’s whining today. Though, he didn’t want to admit he was here more out of his own personal curiosity than for Cain’s sake. He didn’t recognize her face whatsoever, had he been blind to her existence this entire time? Deimos was sure he knew everyone on this ship, from the Commanders to the insignificant cleaners who cleaned the Starfighter ships. The fact that someone so peculiar slipped beneath his radar for so long left him perplexed.

He had so many questions, but every one of them refused to leave his lips. He just stood there in shock as he struggled to utter a word. “ ...... “

It was uncommon for someone to even acknowledge the scrawny Fighter’s existence. To a Navigator, he was nothing more than an insignificant Fighter, a disorderly one that at that. A wasteful being that was there to serve, to sacrifice themselves in order to make sure their Navigator crawls out alive if needed. To a fellow Fighter, he was nothing but a pest that acted like a shadow, watching like a hungered vulture for information that would prove useful to Cain. No group liked him, and he had grown to accept that.

But to have a Navigator that wasn’t his own approach him was baffling, to say the least.

He knew that Ethos was the kind that meant no harm, he wasn’t like the others, in fact, he seemed to be the fragile type. Deimos usually wouldn’t stick around long enough for a conversation to even start, but he couldn’t help but show a mild interest in the gentle Navigator. The warm, inviting aura left Deimos feeling at ease, he didn’t feel the tension he felt speaking to Phobos or any other navigator for that matter. The concern Ethos had shown him earlier was endearing in its own weird way, he didn’t understand to such gentleness. He had to say something, or he knew he was going to regret it later.

He straightened his spine, tightening his fists at his sides as he struggled to choke up a response. “...It’s Deimos.” the fighter replied hesitantly, giving ethos a perplexed look. A look that screamed ‘what are you doing talking to someone like me? You deserve better than this.’ As much as he didn’t want to doubt Ethos, such kindness rarely was genuine in a place like this.

semi-hiatus

I might need to take a slight hiatus because I’ve been very busy with multiple things, animation, writing my own comic, work, my hamsters, I potentially lost my best friend / boyfriend, it’s just it’s all overwhelming rn and I just can’t keep active on my accounts as much as i love Deimos, I feel very disadvantaged on here, idk I feel like I bother people with me existence. Maybe I went with the wrong choice of muse bc being underaged in a 18+ fandom is pretty dumb. I might log into my cotton account more to update things but even then, i can’t do too much of that because it would spoil A LOT of my comic,, If you still wanna talk with me just hmu on discord!
