Not So Berry Legacy Challenge
Do you like the rainbow? Do you like the idea of playing with berry Sims but hate berry Sims? Do you want to mess around with aspects of the game you’ve never used before? Boy, do I have the challenge for you!
Welcome to the Not So Berry Legacy Challenge, a ten generation legacy with a focus on bright colors and new experiences.
Basic Rules:
Each heir must represent the color of the generation (i.e. hair, makeup, clothing), but brightly colored skin is not necessary (these aren’t actually berry Sims, that’s the joke). Of course, this is optional but a big portion of the fun.
The colors of the spouses don’t matter as they aren’t part of the challenge. Unless otherwise stated you can do whatever you please with them.
Money cheats can be used, but not excessively. Suggestion: use freerealestate for your first home, but no cheats afterward.
You may live wherever you please unless something is specified in the rules of a generation.
Every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Keep the lifespan on normal.
If you play this challenge and want to share it with us, go ahead and post with #notsoberry so we can see!
My good friend @alwaysimming and I kind of created this challenge on accident, but I think it turned out pretty great. We wanted to make something that forced us to play with parts of the game we’ve never explored before. Hopefully you’ll have fun too. You can follow our gameplay on @mintiphresh and @lea-fey (pronounced “minty fresh” and “leafy”)!

MORE PICS OF MY WORK!!
Layer By Layer
Layer By Layer is a series of box installations that transforms the narratives of my queer friends into tangible objects as a paradigm of presenting their stories of queer identity and experiences. It seeks to challenge how gender expression and sexuality are perceived and our response to it. By dissecting these bodies, it peers through the complexity of oneself and how they tell a story through these said bodies.

Once Lived In Flesh
𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐦 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐡, 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡, 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝. - 𝐄𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟐:𝟐𝟑 𝐄𝐒𝐕
Once Lived in Flesh confronts traditional beliefs and conservative values toward religion, gender, and sexuality. It peers into the structures that define our perceptions and attitudes of hegemonic practices, examining the destruction of womanhood under the patriarchy, the colonial roots of corporal punishment and how it seeps into domestic spaces, and the alienation of those whose gender and sexuality do not conform to heteronormativity. Through each work, subversions are created to disrupt the narratives that perpetuate within Filipino culture, in an attempt to criticize and transform the physicalities and behaviors that uphold the conventions of our communities.

ARTIST'S PROFILE
Rain Balane
We are headed to the wilderness of the Visayan archipelago… The largely ungoverned, wild and lawless prostate of the tropics. Present here, in its romantic jungles, an 18 year old Visual Arts student squeals in nervousness. Rain Balane… Panicking… Produced in the moist island of Bohol, he attempts to deconstruct the sublimated relationship between the atrocities of colonial history and the punitive acts present within his home. He is hungry… for Jesus-chan. UwU

THIS IS ME! CHECK ME OUT!
ARTIST'S PROFILE
Amara Averion
Still reinventing herself, Amara Mikaela B. Averion, a 18-year-old Visual Arts scholar, one day decided to dye her hair during the quarantine. Besides that, she lived most of her life around Laguna but more frequently in Los Baños & Bay. Within six years in PHSA, it has given her the liberty to play around with the different mediums of art, ranging from painting to film media. Allowing her to engage with multiple outreaches and exhibitions outside PHSA.
For this year's exhibition, her work traverses and challenges how heteronormativity has shaped society to generalize the layers of gender expression and sexuality.
She's a frantic series binge-watcher that finished four seasons of Haikyuu in under two days. And while she tries to figure out all the mysteries she is yet to discover (for herself), one thing is for sure, she REALLY loves unicorns (and will one day, dye her hair with rainbows!). ~(☆▽☆)~
