BACK TO SCHOOL GIVEAWAY 1: Leuchtturm1917

If you’ve spent 2 minutes browsing the Studyblr community, you will have read about bullet journaling. Since high school, I’ve loved the traditional planner style, but I’ve been converted to the bullet journal style of planning and notetaking. Not only can you exercise your creative muscles when creating pages tailored to your needs, but you can combine your to-do lists and tasks in one place. 

Kindly, Leuchtturm1917 sent me this dotted notebook to transform into the bullet journal of my dreams and review for you all. The notebook contains 251 numbered pages, a table of contents, and 12 perforated sheets at the back - perfect for sharing notes with your classmates. The 2 page markers make it really easy to find your most-used pages, and there is also an expandable pocket at the back to store loose pieces of paper. 

I’ve spent the last few days setting up this bujo for my upcoming Masters course, and I’m so excited to share them with you. I’m quite minimalistic when it comes to my weekly spreads - I know that I won’t have much time to make them really elaborate and decorative, so I’ve kept the weekly spread down to the basics. On the left-hand box is the events I’ve got that day, and on the right is a space for all of my tasks to do that day. Once I’m at university, I might find that I need to change the layout slightly to allow for more space for to-do’s, but that’s the beauty of a bullet journal - you can adapt to changes so easily! Whilst it’s great to admire the artistic talent of the amazing bujo’s shared in the community, remember that it does need to be functional and practical above all.

I’ve also included really useful pages. I found this essay-writing advice on Tumblr a while ago (I apologise for not crediting the original author - I couldn’t find it), and thought it would be really helpful to have it written out in my bullet journal so I can reference it when writing essays.

4. Say

Also legendary! Mistake caused by wrong lip syncing… Originally, Jiyong and Jiwon sing the verses with same melody and lyrics, just that Jiyong sings in the first part and Jiwon in second. But Jiyong got confused and sang while Jiwon’s voice was playing >_< It’s easier to get if you watch the performace.

Jiyong: (sings as if nothing were wrong)

Jiwon: …What am I supposed to do?

Maybe Jiyong is too embarrassed to look up? It’s so cute how he bites his lip! And all the members are laughing-

Ah, that JeonJyong moment…♥ I love how they meet eyes and laugh together T_T I wish I could see them together again… Jiyong, what do you mean by you don’t have talent?!

5. 너를 보내며 (Leaving You)

This is not exactly a mistake, but wanted to include it anyway. Seems that Jaejin wanted try out singing Suwon’s part.

Suwon: (about to sing his part)

Jaejin: Suwon, sit down and leave it to me!

Suwon: Okay…

Jiyong and Suwon laughing-♥

Suwon can’t stop laughing! Sechs Kies is well known for exchanging parts, but… After seeing this, Sunghoon shouts out to Jiwon, “Hyung, exchange parts with me!” and Jiwon answers, “I don’t want to.” Jiwon was afraid of the high notes in Sunghoon’s part…XD Love them!

6. 예감 (Hunch)

Sad that the camera didn’t zoom in, but Jiyong slips and falls during the dance. If you watch really closely, Jiwon sees this and somewhat helps him up-

I blame the camera…! Why is Jiyong not in the camera?! I bet Jiyong and Jiwon smiled at each other again as they did in Say. Another sweet JeonJyong moment♥

I really wanted to include the legendary performance of Road Fighter under the rain, but the quality of the videos were sadly too low…T_T Well-

Sechs Kies Cute Mistakes Collection #1

1. 기억해줄래 (Would You Remember)

One of the most legendary mistakes in Sechs Kies performances. I guess the choreography of Would You Remember was too much for a ballad song…

Poor Jaeduk, he’s about to die of embarrassment from behind Jiwon, who’s trying not to laugh! But Jaeduk’s smile is overly cute♥

2. 배신감 (Betrayal)

Jaeduk’s “mistake” here was obviously caused by Jiwon…

Jiwon running as far away as he can, and everyone following-

Jiwon runs the other way, and Jaeduk is too tired to catch up… Of course, this is not the only time Jiwon does this during a Betrayal performance >_< Playful Eunleader♥

3. 커플 (Couple)

Oh, I guess Sunghoon was a bit distracted? But really, I understand why Sunghoon’s nickname is “smiley.” His smile is so pretty and contagious!

Eunleader, Always Sweet to Fans

Tsuntsun Sechs Kies Eunleader has always been known to be deredere to only three things: 1. Fans  2. Sechs Kies members  3. Animals (especially dogs ^_^) And out of those three, I wanted to write about how much he treasures his fans, before and now♥

In 2001, during a rehearsal for a stage of Murmur…

Please, don’t crush my heart.

Jiwon, let me tell that to you! His smile really crushes hearts T_T Anyways, the killing part in that dance is when he “shoots” the audience with his fingers…

The rehearsal ends, and while he is waiting for the main stage, Jiwon talks with the fans that came to watch him. Some of the fans suddenly scream, “Oppa! Shoot me! Shoot me in the next stage!” At first he seems to hesitate a little but soon nods.

And on the main stage, he keeps the promise. He smiles and shoots at the fans who requested him to “shoot” at them♥ He’s so sweet to his fans…ㅠㅠ I want him to shoot me too!

In 2016, in 능력자들 (The Capable Ones)…

Fan: (teary) I can’t talk about that time [When Sechs Kies disbanded].

Jiwon: (Also becoming teary)

Jiwon: Why the hell are you getting it right?!

           I said, don’t interfere!

During capability testing time, Heechul “steals” correct test questions from the Sechs Kies fans, and Jiwon becomes angry XD

Jiwon feels as if one of the Sechs Kies members were getting stolen away…

Unfortunately, rules are rules. The one who gets a correct answer wins a crystal necklace. Jiwon is in charge of them, so he picks a crystal necklace for Heechul. But did you see? He was going to pick the yellow necklace at first and then changed his mind to the red one! Coincidentally, yellow is the official color of Sechs Kies, huh? And where did the yellow one go to?

There it is! The scene was cut out, but he gave it to the Jekki fan♥ It’s those little actions that let people know that he truly adores his fans T_T Jiwon, where is the end of your charm?

And I’ll end with an excerpt from that famous handwritten letter Jiwon wrote for his fans who were waiting for him outside his house every day. The very letter that first proved his tsundere-ness…

I bet my mother knows too, but sometimes–more than just once or twice–I can’t fall asleep at the thought of you. I feel so worried about you. Won’t they be cold? Or what if they are hungry? Where will they sleep? Whenever I have these questions in my head, I can’t sleep, no matter how tired I am…

So I wish you would understand me and forgive me! Don’t just think that you guys feel fine because I am really concerned about you. Don’t you think that if you stop suffering outside and spend more time with your parents, your parents would also like us more? Oh, yeah! And about my cold behaviors toward you! I hope you understand that they don’t come from the heart. If you guys don’t understand me, then “who would?”
