Gotham got screwed by the refs but they also got very lucky a few times on plays that probably should’ve been goals so I’m happy with the tie

Losing delanie sheehan has probably had more effect on Gotham than anyone else who left after last season. Not sure how hard they tried to keep her but I feel like they should’ve tried harder.

Gotham really needs time together as a team where all the top players are healthy and not away on international duty. The passes are just a little off and they feel like a group thst just hasn’t spent a ton of time together

Yea they did one in both halves which was weird. Was just listening to ruesha littlejohn and lucy quinn talk about the friendlies with uswnt, and how they were dying and asked for a hydration break and the ref said no.

A second tie against Chicago is not what I was looking for coming out of the break for gotham. I think the plan going forward is to get all our attacking players healthy and just score a lot of goals. Not sure what else the plan to win could be because any combination we have at the back right now has some real weak spots

Again, thank god akb decided not to take any breaks after the euros. There continues to be some questionable moments on defense (and all over the field really)

How is sonnett in long sleeves? It’s 70 degrees in Chicago. They had a hydration break in the first half. As a person who’s pretty much always too hot wearing long sleeves while running that much is wild
