so, I was casually cutting my hair today because I was bored, and it got me wondering….
How would the Durins react to their s/o cutting their hair out of boredom?
Literally no one asked for this, but here you go!
With Thorin, Fili and Kili
——————————————————————————
Thorin:
He would be the most confused about it. Because, that is your hair???? And you’re just cutting it off??? Because you had nothing to do??? Thorin is really keen on dwarven customs etc., so seeing his s/o cut off their hair, would make him very insecure about himself. Did he not show you he loves your hair enough? Did he not express his adoration for you in your braids often enough?
“What do you think?” You asked, walking into your shared chambers, showing your new hairstyle off with pride.
Thorin, on the other hand, stared at your hair, as if it had been completely burned off. You seemed so happy about it, though he himself could not help but get that sinking feeling of him disproving his love for you.
“Amrâlime,” he whispered, walking up to you as he let his hand gently run through your slightly damp hair. “Did I do something wrong?”
“What?” You exclaimed in surprise. “No, no! You did nothing wrong. I was simply…bored?” Now it begun to sound like a question.
“You cut your locks, because you had nothing to do?” He repeated, the words laying on his tongue as if they were trying to poison him.
“Yes?” You wondered, anxiety now flushing through your system. “You don’t like it…” You mumbled, nodding your head lightly.
Now, that he did think would happen. He did not want to make you feel insecure about yourself. Not when you were the most precious thing in his eyes.
“No!” He protested immediately. “It looks beautiful on you, ghisvashel.” He reassured, his next sentence dying on his lips.
“But?” You ushered, already expecting for the speech of distaste to wash over you.
“I simply…” He started, trying to find the right words. “Us dwarves truly treasure hair.”
“I know.” You agreed, now getting hang onto what was going on.
“We would never consider cutting it. It would be a sign of defeat, or that of being rejected.” Thorin explained carefully.
“Oh,” You whispered. How could you not have thought of that earlier? You should have known. Truthfully, you were so caught up in the cloud of adrenaline that all rational thoughts left your head. Had you but known this would be his reaction, you would have thought twice about it.
“It’s not a rejection.” You defended. “I wanted a change in my hairstyle. It has nothing to do with the love I hold for you, Thorin.” You now soothed, walking up to the dwarves as you wrapped your arms around him, forcing yourself into his hold.
“I would still love to be by your side every waking day of my life.” You mumbled, running your hand over the courting bead adorning his hair.
“And, luckily, hair grows back.”
When you broke your hold on him, Thorin looked at you, observing your hair more careful this time.
“It looks good on you, amrâlime.” The dwarf assured. “You still outshine every jewel stored in this mountain.”
——
Fili:
Much as his uncle, or any dwarf, he is very keen on his kin’s customs. Hair is very important to him. The braids, the length, the manner in which you wear it; it is all a sign of someone’s personality and status. Cutting it off would mean getting rid of that what you loved. And though Fili is more understanding than his uncle in some cases, it can get him worked up quite a bit. He would try to be supportive, though.
Fili had not seen you all day. And, if he was being honest, it had been quite a busy day for him, so he could not blame you for not seeing him.
But as he walked into the kitchen, ready to get a quick snack before dinner, he finally came face to face with you. And what you had done with your hair.
“Kurdunuh? What happened to your hair?” He muttered, freezing in his steps.
You turned around at the sound of Fili’s voice, smiling brightly, having not yet seen the small amount of panic in his eyes.
“I cut it!” You announced, twirling one strand in your hand. “I grew bored of the same old look, so I decided to change it a bit. Do you like it?”
The blonde dwarf walked over to you hesitantly, taking hold of the strand in your hands. He allows himself to wander through your hair for a short moment, before looking at you again.
“You look absolutely radiating,” He spoke truthfully, “though may I ask why?”
You frowned at him, taking back your hair gently, finally noticing the discomfort on his face.
“I just explained it to you: I needed a change.” You tried gently. “Do you not like it?”
Fili shook his head quickly, raising his hands as to metaphorically defend himself. “I do. I was not lying when I told you I liked it, I’m simply confused about the sudden….shift.”
He took his courting braid out of the mass of hair, showing it to you as if silently asking you to take the hint. And thankfully, you did.
“Not to worry!” You assured, fishing for something in your pocket, before holding out your courting bead. “I made sure there is room enough for you to braid.”
“So, you do not wish to end this courtship?” He quietly asked.
“End the…? Heavens no! Why would I wish to do that, my love?” You rambled, forcing the bead into Fili’s hands as you forced a smile onto your face to hide the insecurities running through your head.
“I just thought….if you cut your hair, perhaps I was not worthy of your love.” He whispered, knowing better than to lie to you.
A sense of relief flowed through your body, happy to know the dwarf in front of you was not having second thoughts about your relationship.
“You can never be undeserving of my love, Fili.” You promised, taking your hands in his, clasping the bead in your hold once more. “This has nothing to do with our courtship, you have my word.” You told, referring to your cut hair.
“Good,” Fili mumbled back, a smile finally climbing onto his face. “Because I wasn’t going to let you walk off that easily.”
“Never.”
——
Kili:
Unlike most people think, he is not that oblivious. He knows something is going on before you even show him. He caught you right in the act. He would be very supportive and encouraging, though. Sure, it is a bit of a weird sight, and it truly took him by surprise at first, but he wouldn’t make a big deal out of it. He had some meeting with a pair of scissors too. May that be on purpose or not; those bangs did not grow on their own.
“Amrâlime, Thorin wanted me to ask you if…” The words died on his tongue as he spotted you over the sink, scissors in hand with half cut hair.
“My love?” He asked cautiously, stepping up to you.
“One moment.” You interrupted, focused on keeping your hair even with the other side before cutting.
Kili obeyed silently, sitting down on the edge of the tub next to you, observing your movements gently. As he watched the hair fall down into the sink, he gasped quietly. One side of your hair had already been done, but it was still soaking wet, and Kili could not properly see how it would look like later.
“Are you sure you can do this on your own?” He questioned in a whisper.
“Yes,” You answered plainly, now cutting the edges to make sure it looked natural. “I have done this before.”
“Okay.” He muttered, keeping his hands on his lap as he watched you finish your lock.
“You will leave some space for the courting braid, right?” The dwarf pressed.
“Of course.” You reassured, turning around to face him, ruffling your hair slightly, letting the dead ends fall down. “How does it look?”
“Better when it’s dry?” He asked, raising his eyebrows in confusion, standing up now.
“I appreciate your honesty.” You smiled, walking out of the room.
“Wait!” Kili exclaimed, running after you. “Amrâlime wait! I did not mean for that to sound rude!”
As you sat down on your bed, he threw himself onto the bedding, landing next to you, his head on your lap, leaving you incapable of escaping.
“I did not take it as a rude comment.” You smirked, bringing your hand to his hair as you began to braid the ends of it.
“Good,” The dwarf mumbled. “Because I’m positive you will look great once it’s dry.”
You chuckled lightly at his words, leaning down as you placed a kiss on the top of his nose.
“But you do want to resume our courtship, right?” He whispered when you pulled away. “This was not a sign of malcontent?”
“Absolutely not.” You gasped, halting your movements through his hair momentarily. “I would never leave you if I can do anything about it.”
“Good,” Kili repeated, closing his eyes in content as a happy smile grew onto his face.
“Don’t stop.” He now whispered, more quiet than ever, as he referred to the feeling of your hands running through hair.
“I won’t.” You promised, continuing your braid. “But what did Thorin want?”
“Nothing,” Kili responded immediately.
“Nothing. He can wait.”

Hey, I LIVE for these kinds of fics and I LOVE yours so much. Thank you for making these! I would like to request a fic between aonung x human reader, where the reader teases and flirts with him despite his rude little ass until he has had enough of the teasing and decides to fuck their brains out. Thank you!!
My dearly detested
Adult!Ao’nung x fem!human!reader
Words: 2.1k
Warnings: explicit smut, minors dni, kinda enemies to lovers, mutual teasing, sexual tension, size difference, choking, hate fuck, orgasm denial, p in v, degradation kink, no foreplay, begging, brat tamer Ao’nung let’s goo
Since your arrival in the metkayina village, Ao‘nung has been teasing you and the other Sully‘s. He was mean and rude. A picture book bully if you’d like. The fact that a demon, a human, was now living on his islands was going against everything he believed and he didn’t shy away to let you know how much he despises you, whenever your two crossed paths. But what was even worse was, that you had a smart mouth. One that matched his energy in ways he didn’t like at all. It confused him, if he was being completely honest with himself.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
"… and what’s with that weird stuff you’re wearing? You look like a freak", Ao‘nung scoffed. You were on your way to pick some herbs and berries for Neytiri, to prepare for dinner, when Ao‘nung crossed your way. And of course he couldn’t keep his mouth shut and just let you pass, no, he had to stand in your way and proceed to make fun of you.
"Oh this? That’s a tshirt", you smiled at him, acting all innocent as you were looking down at yourself, "I could take it off if you’d prefer me without it?" You lift the hem of your shirt enough to expose your belly to him, your skin glistening in a thin layer of sweat, thanks to the incredible heat on these islands. To this, Ao‘nungs face lights up bright red. You had this special talent of catching him off guard.
"What’s wrong, fish boy? That thought got you all hot and bothered?", you teased him further. Ao’nung was irritated now, fuming with rage and— something else. Something he was unfamiliar with, until you had stepped foot in his life. He couldn’t pinpoint it, couldn’t describe it, even if he wanted to, but it made him want to use that anger and frustration and let it all out on you.
He blinks a few times, while you were still smiling at him, with your hands on your hips. Oh you felt so confident in yourself, it made him sick. With a long stride he approaches you, until he was close enough that your face was almost pressed against his stomach. Humans surely were tiny, but especially this one, he thought.
"Watch you mouth, human", he all but growls at you through gritted teeth but you only giggle and tilt your head to look up at him.
"Or what?"
And that does it.
Ao’nung had only so much patience left when it came to you and you were really testing your luck today. His hand shoots up to wrap itself around your throat, harshly pulling you even closer to him.
"Or I’ll show you what it’s good for, other than talking back like a little brat", he says lowly.
Now it was your turn to be taken aback, your eyes wide and mouth slightly agape. For once you were left speechless, much to Ao‘nungs amusement. How interesting. Looks like he had finally found the little humans weak spot.
"What’s wrong, hm?", he tilts his head, teasing you by turning your own words against you, "That thought got you all hot and bothered?"
You blink up at him, eyes wide and cheeks turning pink and– fuck. Who would’ve thought that, seeing the woman who robbed him of his last nerves like this, had such an effect on him.
It wasn’t until right in that moment that Ao’nung realized, he wanted nothing more than to see you behave, see you finally shut up that smart mouth of yours and act good for him.
The sight in front of him made him shamefully hard. His dick was so hard, it felt like it was going to split the seam of his loincloth at any second. He’d gladly fuck the brat right out of you, he had come to realize. And that wasn’t just something he thought to himself, it was a decision made.
With his hand still wrapped around your delicate throat he slowly pushes you backwards, makes you walk until your back makes contact with one of the palm trees that were littered along the shore. For once, a surprised gasp escaping your parted lips was the only sound that was coming from you.
A small smile tugged at the corners of Ao’nung’s mouth and he chuckled. "That's really all it takes to shut you up, huh?" He leans in almost imperceptibly and you swallow dryly, "You wanna tell me why you're blushing?"
"I‘m– I‘m not", you mumble a weak protest, once his hand finally leaves your throat, "m'not blushing…" Your gaze swiftly shuns away from his, but Ao’nung is having none of that. With his index finger hooked under your chin he tips your head up so you’re forced to look at him. It was funny, seeing how your attitude had changed so drastically and sudden. It makes him want to be even meaner to you, tease you more, see how much further he could take it.
"Yes you are. Bet you’re all wet already too", he says lowly and with a smug grin plastered on his face. Before you can even proceed the words spoken, his hand moves to cup your sex over the thin bikini panty you were wearing. That skimpy piece of weird human clothing was, in fact, damp already. "I knew it", Ao’nung chuckles as he let his fingers glide over the wet spot, causing a shudder to run through you.
"Just– shut up", you manage to breathe out and Ao’nung clicks his tongue at the tone in your voice.
"Oh there it is again. That annoying attitude of yours", he rolls his eyes, "You just need to get your cute human pussy stuffed, right? Just need some cock and boom– you’re all cute and happy and, most of all, fucking quiet. But don’t worry, sweet little pearl. I’ll do us both a favor and help you out. Keep you from getting on my last nerves anymore."
With one hand still pining you against the trunk of that palm tree and the other slipping past your waistband, he pulls your panties down to your ankles. Ao’nung can’t help the satisfied smile spreading over his features when you don’t resist, letting him manhandle you like you were proofing that he was right. He was reading you like a book. All that mutual teasing had finally paid off, had finally bought you both into the position you secretly longed for, since you’d first laid eyes on each other.
You watch him closely, how he pulls his loincloth to the side to let his cock spring free and you audibly gulp. Eywa had truly gifted him with every attribute you daydreamed of as a horny teenager. Tall, muscular and littered in those pretty metkayina tattoos. But no amount of imagination while dry humping your pillow or any 'self care'-action could’ve truly prepared you for the size of his cock. You didn’t know what you were expecting here, truth be told. Obviously he was going to be big, he was around 8 or 9 feet tall, a grown Na‘vi man in all his glory– there was almost no way that he wasn’t going to be packing like that. Still, it was enough to make you drool.
Just the thought of trying to get him to fit inside you makes heat coil in your belly.
Ao’nung barely pays attention to the way your eyes widen as his cock twitches in the air and a droplet of pre-cum rolls down his shaft. He swiftly drapes your leg over his arm and inches closer to stand between your spread legs, lining himself up with your exposed cunt.
Even in this moment, while in the position you were in, Ao’nung teased you. Using his free hand to guide his dick, he rubs himself between your slippery folds, coats himself with your slickness. He grounds his cock against your pussy, letting it snag and catch against your clit to further drive you insane. You whine in exasperation, desperately pushing your hips against him in an attempt to get him inside.
Finally, mercifully taking the hint, Ao’nung slides his cock inside your tight heat in a slow, measured pace until his hips are flush with yours. The length and girth of him seemingly push the very air from your lungs as he buries himself to the hilt with a groan. "So fucking tight, shit. You feel way too good for someone who causes me this much of a headache every single day."
For what feels like an eternity, he stays there. Unmoving. The only sound that was heard, was the one of your own panting and waves crashing in the distance. You weren’t sure if he was just letting you adjust, but you were thankful for this moment. Especially, because of what he did next. You barely started to relax and stopped clenching around him, when he pulls himself all the way out just to rock right back into you in one sharp thrust. You cry out, too loud for your own liking so you quickly bring one of your hands to cover your mouth. But it‘s completely pointless, thanks to the exopack mask covering your face.
“Don’t worry. You can enjoy this to your heart’s content, little pearl", Ao’nung chuckles from above, "No one else is around to hear those cute, pathetic moans. Just me and you.” He adjusted his stance and you seized as he twitched inside you. His pace was hard and rough and he seemingly aimed to fuck every bit of attitude right out of you, with the way his hips snapped against yours.
You could barely hold yourself up like this, with one leg loosely hanging over his muscular arm while the other was already daring to give in, planted weakly on the soft, warm sand below your feet. You quickly adjust your arms around his neck, holding on for dear life while he didn’t seem to care in the slightest. He would keep you standing upright by the sheer force of his thrusts.
Your moans increase in volume with every passing second, his pace never faltering for just a moment. "Ao’nung, s-slow down! Slow down I can’t—"
“Fuck, yes you can”, he snarls, sucking in a breathe through clenched teeth when he feels you squeeze his cock. "Where did all your attitude go, hm? Don’t you want to apologize?”
"M‘not– ah! I‘m apologizing to your rude ass", you tell him between moans.
"That’s fine", Ao’nung chuckles darkly and it’s almost sinister, makes goosebumps appear on your skin, "I will make you apologize."
Pointedly, he begins fucking against your g-spot, making your eyes cross and roll back into your head until your a howling mess. The hand that’s been planted firmly on your hip suddenly shifts, reaches between your legs and expertly finds your clit. As soon as his rough digits made contact with the little bundle of nerves, your voice hit a high you didn’t even know was possible. Keeping a brutal pace, he draws right circles on it while thrusting into you until the edges of your vision begin to black out. Right when you were at your limit, right there at the edge and so painfully close to coming— he draws away.
"W-What the f– ah! Fuck!", you gasp and curse under your rapid breathing, toes curling at the unpleasant feeling of the loss of your orgasm. His thrusts don’t stop entirely, but they become more lazy. Short and deep and slow and it’s just not enough to drive you over the edge. You let your head fall back against the tree trunk with a thud.
At that, Ao’nung lets out a small laugh, relishing in the frustrated whine that leaves your soft looking lips and the desperate arch of your back.
"Go on, little pearl. Apologize and I’ll be nice and let you cum", he tells you with a grin. His thumb gently swipes through your wet folds, purposefully avoiding your clit. Ever so slowly, like he’s trying to torture you, the pace of his hips increases again, giving you a sweet taste of what you were longing for but still not giving it to you fully. Not until you give in and apologize. Beg for it. And begging you did…
"I‘m sorry, 'm sorry fuck I’m so sorry! Please let me cum, please Ao’nung I need to cum! I promise I’ll be good… I‘m sorry!"
"Oh I bet you are, but you can do better than that."

A Gift from Eywa. Pt 4.
Warnings: angst, smut. Blood.
____________________________________________
Yuey felt the world slow down, her mind was racing a million miles a minute. She rushed to scramble up from the floor, and as another arrow flew past her that's when she felt the rain start to hit her skin, she couldnt tell if her face was wet because of the rain or tears. The Sully family had dispersed, but so had the enemy. She saw everyone running in the different direction, she started to run, to the nearest branch, on the way she picked up the bow. She let out a hiss as she found no arrows, slung across her back. They must have broken when she was forced to the ground.
"Get back here cupcake, you are coming with me." One of the avatars started walking up to her, making her sprint up the branch. Her main focus was getting a far away as possible and finding Tuk. Her shoulder ached, a deep ache that made her want to sob.
She could hear the sound of fighting behind her. She heard gunshots, and yelling. She didnt like all the loud noise mixed with the thunder. She couldnt focus on any of sound. She felt something cold and hard hit her feet, sending her over the edge of the branch down to the ground below. She hit the ground with a grunt, feeling a pair of hands grip her ankles and tug her along the ground. Although they did not pull her very far. Yuey managed to kick out their hands and jump up, a hiss coming from her throat as she barred her fangs at the enemy with the gun.
Yuey's hand went to her dagger not wasting a second before she gripped the taller, presumably older, avatar and pushed her against the tree. She was not to keen on ending a life, but she wouldn't hesitate. Before Yuey could make the cut, the marine brought her knee up to the future Tsahiks stomach, pushing her back to the ground. At this rate, the ground and Yuey would be best friends.
The marine was trying to bind her hands, although she fought it. Then she heard a clunk. An arrow had pierced her skull. She shoved the body off of her was then her eyes met that familiar green gaze. When had he gotten there?
Neteyam didn't hesitate to grab her hand and pull her to him, yuey felt slight relief flush though her body before the two of them were roughly body slammed to the ground, then the sound of gunfire. Jake had pushed them out to the line of fire.
"Go! Go! Go!" Jake yelled out in English, old habits I guess. Yuey felt a pair of hands on her waist pulling her off the ground, no doubt Neteyam. Jake ran through the woods and they followed him, jumping over fallen trees. Neteyam kept his hand on her, at one point she took his hand to be able to run better. Soon enough the sound of gunfire stopped ringing in her ears. Eventually the demon plane came down, the sky demons ran away like cowards.
Yuey didn't speak as jake pulled Neteyam and her along trying to find the rest of the family. Eventually they ran into Neytiri, who had looked out for tuk, kiri, and Lo'ak. No one spoke much just making sure that everyone was okay. That was when the eyes had fallen on the second Eldest girl in the group.
"Ma Yuey...you're bleeding... very badly..." Neytiri was the first to break the silence as she stepped forward moving to look at the cut. Everyone had scrapes and bruises, it looked like the only one who had gotten seriously injured was Yuey. She hissed feeling hands coming up up her arm, the area around the cut tender. She most likely had gotten dirt into it. But she wouldn't worry them.
"Its just a scratch, not a bad as it looks..." yuey would force a smile as she looked at the people she would one day call her own family. Looking over she saw Neteyam, his features filled with worry...and fear. Fear wasn't an emotion that Yuey saw often in those eyes. Neteyam stepped forward and put his hands on her arms as he looked her over, his tail swaying lowly.
^^^^^
The flight back to the village was quiet, everyone relishing in the fact they were all still together. Although Yuey's first instinct was to check on the others and take care of them, Neteyam grabbed her waist and guided her away back to their tent. On the way back, the eldest Sully hadnt uttered a word but he kept his eyes fixed on his promised one. She let out a noise of confusion, but he said nothing.
The look on his face filled her with dread and worry, she knew he was hurting. She knew it wasn't wasn't physical pain that she could mend, but an emotional wound. One that could take a while to heal. When they got to the tent, Neteyam sat her on the stool that she had in front of her medicine table.
"My 'teyam...please speak what is on your mind..." Yuey spoke softly her unwounded hand reaching for his shoulder, placing it there softly. Neteyam looked at her and his eyes held so much emotion in his gaze. She couldn't place such a simple, single one. They all molded together.
Neteyam let out a few shaky breathes as his hands found the water she kept for cleaning open wounds, he moved closer to her seemingly trying to find words to say as he cleaned her cut. Yuey kept her hand on him, subtly reassuring him that she would listen. Although, she herself was still shaking from her encounters, his touch brought relaxation. He poured water onto her cut and she hissed, squeezing her eyes shut.
"I am sorry." Neteyam said quickly when he saw that him cleaning it had hurt her. She could see that he was thinking which medicine she needed so without much thought she would tell him the color of the jar that he would need. She had them color coded for this reason.
"I thought that I had lost you...I thought that i...I.... was too late. I thought you were gone...I thought that they sent you to be with the Great Mother too soon. When i saw you laying there under them, on the ground. I thought that that was over. Yuey...I was so scared...you mean so much to me that I don't know what I would do if I woke at dawn and you were nor there to see the sunrise." Neteyam let his thoughts spill to her as he bandaged her up, following her muttered instructions. She was the healer and he was the warrior, he knew enough but not as much as she did. But, he would always be there to take care of her. Always, like now. She could tell that he was tearing up, she couldnt see it but his voice was quivering and his hands shaky against her skin.
"Neteyam...I'm here, I'm here. I am not going anywhere. I am not going to leave you for any, /any/ reason whatsoever. I would not leave you without your swok'aw. I could never. We have far too much time left ahead of us. Too much we still have to do. I am not leaving you, I'm still here. I may have a few more scars now, but I'm here." She focused on reassuring him as he came back in front of her and she took the jar from him, standing up to wrap her arms tightly around him, moving to hide her face into his neck. She knew that one of the best ways to calm this kind of pain was touch.
"Yu... yu I was scared. I was truly scared I had lost you." Neteyam repeated again and again, like a mantra as his stong arms secured around her waist holding her flush against him. He was careful not to touch her gash, avoiding it.
Her mind was trying to find ways to make her beloved feel better, to make the hurt go away. To show her that she would not to leaving soon. She paused slightly as she pieced it together. She could give herself to him let him feel her. Yuey could let Neteyam ground himself. She wasn't worried about the throbbing pain in her shoulder, she trusted that Neteyam knew enough to heal her. She had told him such in case of emergencies like this.
Yuey stayed close to him, her arms wrapping around his taller form. She hid her face to his neck, pulling herself against him. Mo'at had taught her to fix physical wounds. So she was winging this part, at least that's how the sky people would say. She couldn't find the words to say instead her hands searched for his own, holding onto them. She have them a squeeze as she pulled away from the embrace, looking to Neteyam's eyes. Every ounce of her being wanted to take away that pain in his eyes.
"Feel me, let your hands feel me. That way, you know I am here. You can touch me, use me to ground yourself until the pains go away." The healer would tell her warrior, putting his hands to her waist before she let go of them. Yuey kept her eyes on his, watching as his lips let out a soft sigh. Neteyam would never tell her, but he bottled up all his emotions and she knew it. He needed to stop holding onto all of his pain and frustration.
His hands were hesitant at first, he pulled her back into the hug and let his hands travel along her back. His fingers seemed to trace every bioluminescent dot on her skin. Yuey held onto him, her hands staying at his side as she rested her head on his shoulder. His breathing was calming, the closeness was something that they both were used to. But that doesn't mean It doesn't make their hearts race.
"Yuey... you mean the world to me, I would do anything to keep you safe. Anything at all." Neteyam would tell her as his hands danced up her sides. His fingertips grazed against a ticklish spot of her body and she let out a gasp, pushing herself into him more out of instinct. Her first urge was to apologize, but years ago when two had decided ,even as friends, not to apologize about things that they had no control over.
Instead she looked up and his eyes met her eyes. There was no longer pain in his green eyes, but instead a hunger, a needy look. She knew it all too well. The two didn't even need to say anything before she stood on her toes, her hand tugging on his hair to pull him down and pressed her lips against his own. The kiss was soft, but very passionate. All of the stuff that they couldn't put into words, was poured into the kiss. The fear, the worry, the love. All of it. They had let their bodies connect, flowing together as they stumbled about it their tent.
"'Teyam... bed..." was all Yuey said as she broke away from the kiss, neteyam hooked his arms under her thighs and picked her up quickly. Although he was being careful because of her injury. Neteyam brought his lips to her neck and she felt heat pool into her stomach. He always knew where to go to make her weak and he sucked onto the spot right under her ear. His actions weren't rough, but instead gentle.
Neteyam brought her to the bed and laid her down, he settled between her legs. He kept his hands at the side of her head, she could tell that he was being extra careful with her. They had been intimate like this before, a handful of times. This time it was different, full of longing.
Yuey brought her hands to his back and tugged him close, her lips finding his. Her hands danced down his back to take off the beads and the band around his waist. Before her fingertips worked on taking off his loincloth. Yuey felt neteyam pull away when the garments hit the floor. She searched for his eyes trying to see what he was thinking.
Yuey focused on the way his hands worked on her garments, taking them off faster than she had done. When her loincloth came off, she wrapped her legs around him and pulled him close. She connected their foreheads together, while her hips grinded against his slowly.
"I may not be able to keep you from pain, but I can at least make you feel good after." Neteyam told her, his accent coming out in bulk. His accent mixed with his words was enough to make her blush. His hand trailed down her stomach, making her body arch to his touch, and in between her thighs. She gasped feeling him kiss down her neck to her chest, meeting his eyes. Yuey wanted to shrunk under his gaze. He tested the waters by slipping a finger through her slick, before finding her sensitive nub and rolling his fingers against it.
Yuey let out a soft noise, her back arching against the bed as she tore her eyes away from her promised one. It seemed as if he knew her body better than she did. Her awok'aw. He slipped a finger inside her walls, she down need to look at him to know that his eyes were watching her. She could feel it. She hardly noticed the ache in her shoulder at this point.
"Are you always gonna act like this...I just want to see my pretty girl feel good." Neteyam would tease her, but as the pleasure flowed through her body she felt his hardened length brush against her thigh.
"Y-yes because when you l-look at me like that...It drives me insane."
His soft laugh filled her ears and she started to feel herself growing impatient. She need him. She needed him now. Her walls were clinching around his finger and he slipped another digit into her, filling her nicely. But it wasnt enough, after a moment her moans died down a bit as she rocked her hips against his hand.
"Please...please take me 'teyam." Yuey begged him breathlessly, her eyes and voice pleading with him. His eyes were love filled, usually he would tease her. His eyes scanned over her features deliberating before he sat up, rocking back on his knees as he tugged her closer by the hips. He was careful not to be harsh, she could tell that he was holding back. She grinded against his hips, her body screaming at her for any type of friction. He let out a quiet growl as he rocked into her, sliding his length through her slick before he pushed into her.
She let out a loud moan, her hand coming up to cover her mouth. The noise she made was so loud she was almost embarrassed, but when he started to thrust into her, her mouth fell open. Yuey loved the way that he filled her up, fitting inside her perfectly. When she grew used to it, she rolled her hips and locked her legs around his waist. She let her eyes meet his gaze, even I her cheeks were flushed.
"Oh Great Mother!" She called out when he got the message, bringing his hands to hold hers, pinning them down next to her head. Her walls clenched around his length and she bit her lip before leaning up as best she could peppering kisses along his jaw. He always looked so amazing on top of her. The way his abs tensed, the way his body reacted to her touch was mesmerizing. His hands gave hers a squeeze as he found a pace that was too rough but was enough to give them both satisfactory.
"i dont deserve you. Im glad that you are my awok'aw." He groaned out in her ear and before she could mutter a response his length grazed against the spot inside her that made her see stars. She threw her head back, her back arching off the bed as her heels tug into his back. In the back of her mind she felt the sting of her shoulder but she didn't particularly care. She just wanted the rising tension in her body to go away. Yuey knew neteyam would bring her release. "There! Please there!"
At her words, neteyam grinned knowing that she wasn't too far from release. It was written on her face. He angled her hips to hit that spot every time, and Yuey would swear to Eywa that she had seen stars, quite literally. Around the time when her stomach started to burn, the urge to release so strong, his thrusts grew sloppy as they always did when he was close.
"Together. Together." Neteyam said moving his face from her neck to her forehead. They weren't just having sex, they were making love. Her lips grazed against his and with one final thrust she felt her high crash down on her and before she known it, he had pulled out of her letting his seed fill onto her thighs. Even if she whined, they couldn't bond that way until they were mated and had Tsaheylu.
Yuey felt her chest rise and fall as she caught her breath, neteyam holding her body close against him. The pair stayed like this for a few moments, just basking in the bliss of what they had just done. Yuey had almost forgotten about the events that happened hours prior. That would be a problem for later. For now it was just them.

A Gift from Eywa. Pt 3.
Warnings: characters will be held captive. Violence. Strong language. Slight gore.
____________________________________________
Oh no it all went wrong.
The day had started normal for Yuey. She woke up next to Neteyam. A good start to any day. She traced her fingertips over his features lovingly, trying to imprint his features to her memory. She paid attention to the way that his chest rose and fell with each of his sleeping breathes. They had talked for hours before they went to bed, laughing and playing, anything that came to mind they had done.
"Did you know it's creepy to stare." Neteyam's groggy voice tore through her love filled thoughts, Yuey's cheeks heated up at his teasing. His eyes had yet to open, how had he known that she was staring?
"Well...maybe it is....do I care? Not in the slightest." She said with a shrug unable to come up with a retort. Playful banter was not a strong suit of hers. She tended to think far too much for that, scared of hurting someone's feelings. But she bit her lip for a moment before she sat up, slinging her leg over her beloved, straddling his waist.
"Don't you have to go with your parents and run rounds today, I think I remember your dad saying something about it..." as Yuey spoke about Jake Sully, she remembered seeing her own father pulling Neteyam away from the party yesterday. "What did my dad have to say to you yesterday. Did he spill my secrets?" She had no secrets, but she was curious.
"I do, sometime in the middle of the day. Far from now." Neteyam sat up his arms wrapping around the girl atop of him, an admiring smile on his lips. His ears twitched at the question, making him laugh and shake his head. His fingertips ghosted over skin just barely, giving her butterflies. "Quite the opposite, he said to take care of you...keep you safe and don't let anything hurt you. He is a good father, a strong warrior too."
Yuey blinked a few times as her promised spoke to her, taking in his words. She grew bashful, leaning down to hide her face against his shoulder. "God that's embarrassing..."
Neteyam didn't say anything instead he ran his hand along her back, soothing her. The two moved in sync. When one moved one way, the other was moving right with the other. The perfect pair. When Yuey got over her feelings of shyness, she shook her head rembering that she had to look at his wound on his back. But instead they had gotten...carried away instead. They were too preoccupied with each other to worry about it.
Yuey slipped off of his waist and stood at the foot of their bed, and Neteyam moved to sit at the edge as she stretched. "Let me put some more paste on it...I don't want it to get infected."
She moved over to the table where she kept all of her herbs and stuff, her hands dancing over the jars as she searched for the one that Neteyam needed. Yuey picked up a particular jar and walked over to him. "Go on stand up."
"So bossy." He would tease her before he stood up, turning his back to her. A long cut had spanned across his back. From what Jake and Lo'ak had told her, he slid down a piece of metal during an impact. She pressed a kiss near the cut, her mom had always told her that a kiss would help you to feel better. It didn't really, but it did help with emotions.
Yuey dipped her fingers into the paste before she smeared it across his wound, he hissed slightly at the sting and she muttered soothing words. His tail wrapped around her leg as her other hand held the jar of medicine. She spoke reassuring words as her hands worked quickly on his back. Once she was done, she sealed the jar and put the rest away. "See, it is all done. Mighty warrior."
Yuey teased neteyam as she stepped back to him, teasing him for wincing from the medicine. Although that was all it was, teasing. He truly was a mighty warrior, he was to be the next olo'eyktan. He was one of the best warriors in the village.
"Oh you're done? That took a million years." He said dramatically as he leaned down cupping her cheeks into his hands, leaning down to press a kiss to her lips. The kiss was soft and sweet. He had poured his love and appreciation into the kiss. Yuey wrapped her arms around his neck slowly, pulling him closer to her. He was intoxicating to her. Her ears perked to hear his better, her tail wrapping around him as he deepened the kiss. Her hand dipped into his hair as their bresthing became slightly uneven.
He went to pick her up and place her onto the table, she broke away from the kiss as she heard the sound of her jars knocking over. She let out a soft gasp as his hands tugged her closer, the room was growing hazy and the air gre seemingly thicker.
"Wait- 'teyam-" she said out of breath as she remembered that her duties started earlier than his. Much much earlier, much to her dismay. He looked down at Yuey confused, his tail flicking behind him. "Patients... I have patients...t-they need medicine..." she would gasp as she caught her breath.
"The life of the future Tsahik is a busy one I see." Neteyam said pressing his forehead to her own, closing his eyes. He didn't want her to leave just yet, Yuey could tell. She leaned into his touch, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek.
"I'll be right back, then we can finish this tonight."
[timeskip, later that day]
Somehow, Lo'ak had talked Yuey into going on a walk near the old Shack. Where Jake connected to his Avatar during the War. She mostly went because Tuk said she wanted to go. She couldn't let them go alone. So she had her bow strapped to her back and her knife on her hip, you never know what could happen.
"Come on, Yuey! Come on!" Tuk would call out to her as she would occasionally stop and slow down on the branches for Spider, a human that grew attached to the Sully family. She listened to the siblings banter on their way, she looked out at nature staying close behind them. She let Lo'ak lead the way since it was his bright idea after all.
She was so lost in her mind that she hadn't noticed Lo'ak and Spider stopping and bending down. In her defense, neither had Kiri. But how was she different? She tripped over Spider. She found herself falling face first into the dirt, a scowl appearing on her face. But she paused her remark when she saw that /both/ of them were staring at the ground so intently. What was it.
"What is it?" She asked looking back between them, her eyes trying to find what they were paying attention to. But she couldn't.
"These tracks... way too big to be a human." Lo'ak explained to her and she saw it, it looked like a human except it was way too big to be one.
"Avatars? Could it be avatars? Do you think the sky people already have some, how would we know? Could they be at camp?" Yuey let her thoughts slip past her lips as she felt Tuk's hand tug on her shoulder. She glanced at the little girl before looking at Lo'ak. He was the hunter here, a far better tracker than Yuey. She was looking for his help to decide.
"We need to follow them and see." Lo'ak said as he stood up drawing his bow. The second eldest Sully led them, following the tracks. The tracks led them right to the old Shack. The closer they got to the Shack, the closer Yuey made sure to have Tuk. Bad things happened there. Very bad things. Spiders father and Jake Sully fought there. They leant down and looked when they heard noise. Yuey kept her tail wrapped around Tuk's arm. She was alert.
They saw about 6 avatars, looking around and poking the abandoned building. They seemed to be looking for something.
"There's some guys out by the Shack. Avatars." Yuey wasted no time to call it in, her hand on the comm chocker around her neck. Jake was the first one to get back to her, Lo'ak turned on his comm and so dud kiri to be able to hear.
"Who is with you?" Jake asked, and her ears twitched feeling the worry in his voice.
"Me, spider, kiri, yuey....and tuk." Lo'ak was the one to answer although through a grimace, afraid of getting in trouble with his father.
"Get out of there, do not engage. Do you hear me? Do not engage. Im coming." Jake spoke, the voice of olo'eyktan coming out. Yuey was quick to push the younger kids in front of her, turning her back to where she had last seen the sky demons. They had gotten maybe ten steps in before Yuey felt strong, unfamiliar hands wrap around her torso. Then a strange cold feeling against her neck. A knife.
The rest happened in slow motion, spider and Lo'ak jumped back aiming their bows at the people holding them. Her eyes darted around quickly to figure out the situation. There was a female avatar holding onto Tuk, and a male avatar holding onto Kiri. They were being held by the queue. Lo'ak was baring his fangs and spider was being just as protective.
"Be calm! Calm boys! Be calm!" Yuey yelled out in Na'vi, assuming that the sky demons would not be able to understand her.
"Let them go! Let the girls go!" Lo'ak hesitated for a second and then both of them were Being forced onto their knees. Yuey looked over at tuk and sae that she was ready to cry, but she was hiding it. "It's gonna be okay Tuk. Brave smiles" yuey spoke forcing a smile. Tuk was too young for this.
"Well look at this, we got ourselves a half breed." Said a sky demon, he was clearly the leader. He was staring at Kiri's hands. Then he went to lo'ak who put up a brave front. "You're his. Jake Sully had himself a litter."
Yuey muttered quiet prayers to Eywa. They all had to make it out of this. But if it came to it, she would make sure to get Tuk out first. That's what she would do. She prayed to the Great Mother, hoping for guidance. A sign. That's when she heard it, a calling whistle. Then a calling Yelp. Jake and Neytiri. They were here. Her ears twitched trying to see how far they are, seemingly the sky people had no idea. They did not know this way of communication.
"We got some very valuable prisoners coming in. Standby." The leader spoke english into his walkie. Yuey felt panic set into her bones, her eyes widening. She would not be taken. She threw her elbow behind her finding her captures side, attempting to break free enough to grab her bow from the ground where it was thrown. She only bought herself a few seconds, before she knew it she was on her hands and knees feeling a searing pain across her shoulder.
Then she felt the warm liquid trickling down her arm, she had been cut. She could tell that it was deep. Very deep, enough to send her to Eywa if she didn't get help in an hour.
"We got ourselves a fighter it seems, say princess what is is your name?" The voice above Yuey spoke making her feel sick to her stomach. She acted as if she did not speak English. What happened next was all a blur. She felt the wind whistling past her and then she felt whoever was holding her let go, and a thud.
The girls used their fangs to bite the avatars. holding them, running away together. Lo'ak broke free and ran in the other direction. Yuey scrambled up to her feet and looked to her capture.
Neytiri's arrow was in his chest.

A Gift from Eywa. Pt 2.
I loved writing the first chapter so much! Let me know what you think of this chapter, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!
____________________________________________
Yuey loved taking care of others, so that is what she did until it was time to start preparing the dinner. Both sets of parents were to make and bring a dish. Neteyam would help Neytiri and Jake, while Yuey would help Ninat and Ta'zi. The day before yuey and her father went out for a hunt, to be able to bring meat to the dinner. Yuey loved hunting, to be one with nature. She adored the hunt, she got that from her father. When either of them were stressed, her mother would send them out to the Forrest. "Do not come back empty handed " that is all her mom would say. She is such a smart woman.
She stayed busy throughout the day, helping the kids of the village, helping the elderly carry their baskets back to their tents. She loved helping others, it was her nature.
"Yuey! Can you help me with this basket, the leaf keeps unweaving and I cannot get it to stay?" One elder of the village would ask Yuey as she was on her way to her parents tent, to help them. She would smile warmly at the request.
"Of course I can. Let me show you how so the next time, you won't need me." Her voice was sweet and soft, but there was alot of confidence in it. Her father raised her that way, to know her own worth. She would take the basket to see what the problem was, immediately noticing it. She used her fingers to tuck and bond the leaf to the other strands for support, and soon enough it was good as new.
"Thank you, you're so good with these things." The woman would thank her to which Yuey would nod her head, dismissing the compliment. Soon enough, she was on the way back to her family's tent. The bond between her family was strong, unbreakable. Her parents had come together during the war against the sky people. Her father a warrior, her mother a healer. During the attack on Hometree, her father was wounded, a branch had pierced his side. Her mother found him and the rest was history. Yuey could tell the story of them while half asleep.
Soon enough she dipped into their tent and smiled. The smell of meat cooking had filled her senses and her tail swished happily behind her. She saw her parents chattering away next to their fire pit, although when they saw their daughter they both jumped up, in sync.
"My dear daughter!" Her mother would exclaim. Holding her hands out as she went in for a hug. Her father smiled proudly at his daughter, watching the two women of the family embrace eachother. As yuey hugged her mother, her eyes danced around the tent that she grew up in. Although she no longer lived with them, there were still 2 beds made out of tree leaves. They could have gotten rid of hers but they had not. A silent message: you are always welcome home
"Well look who it is, the Tsahik to be." Her father would tease her affectionately, knowing that Yuey was still shy about the title even if she didn't know it, a father knows.
"Oh you two act as if you didn't see me yesterday, you act as if it had been years." Yuey would say shaking her head bashfully. Even if they were her parents, she would still shy away from her teasing. As she did with everyone.
"Well, even so. I still miss my daughter. My sweet inner beauty." Ninat had spoke sweetly, alluding to the meaning of Yuey's name. Yuey had definitely gotten her kind nature from her mother. She also got her confidence from her father.
"Are you two excited?"
"I grew up with Neytiri. We were best friends growing up. I'm glad that you found their oldest and chose eachother. Anyone can see that you two were made for each-"
"Yes we are excited." My father said cutting off my mother, knowing that she had a habit of rambling when she was excited.
"I hope tonight goes well, even if it is decided. The planning is important to me." Yuey told her parents subtly askimg them to be on their best behaviors. She leant down to test the meat, grabbing a wooden board to slide it on. Then she turned to her father for him to take the board.
------------------------------------------------------
Dinner was set to be at dinner, a time of good tiding. The Sully family had made a vegetable plate, from things they had found next to Hometree. It was often that Yuey joined them for dinner so it was nothing new. Mo'at sat at one end of the table, Jake on the other. Neteyam and Yuey sat side by side. Tuk was next to Neytiri. Kiri and Lo'ak next to eachother. Her parents side by side.
"Let's get this thing going!" Jake said after everyone had food on his plate, making Neteyam and Yuey look at each other and smile. He was such a dad sometimes. Since the war had started again, Jake had toughened as Olo'eyktan. It was nice to see his walls come down for a change.
"So are we still going for a month in time. For the ceremony?" Lo'ak was the first one to get down to business.
"I would like for it to be." Yuey said as she pushed her wishes out in the open, her eyes meeting Mo'at. As Tsahik, Mo'at would have to officiate them in front of the clan. Her hand went to meet Neteyam's hand under the table, her nerves rising just a tiny bit. Out of the corner of her eye she felt Neteyams gaze on her. He gave her hand a soft squeeze. He knew how desperately she wanted to be his mate, she was the one who brought up the idea. They both wanted it more than anything.
"Then yes. In a months time it will be held. The clan will gather in front of the Spirit Tree, and you two will make Tsaheylu. Then it will be done. You will be bonded for life."
At his grandmother's words of confirmation Neteyam tugged Yuey close to him to be able to hold her. His hand wrapped around her shoulder as they ate with their free hands. Although everything felt surreal to Yuey. She couldn't believe that it was actually happening. She had wanted this for so long, but they had to wait until everything was set in place. But now it was time. In a month's time it would be done. Her smile was showing off her relief as she looked down at her lap.
"In a month you will actually be my sister!" Tuk and Kiri had spoke at the same time, leaning across the table to touch hands as if in victory. Over the years, Yuey had come to view Neteyam's siblings as her own.
"Wasn't I already?" She would tease the two girls before she noticed her parents exchanging looks. She couldn't read them but before she knew it her father was standing and placing a hand on Neteyam's shoulder. Without saying another thing, Neteyam nodded and pulled away from her to go with Ta'zi. What was that about?
"Are you two going to get the night to yourself that night? Because you know....you two out in the woods.... all alone." Lo'ak was quick to tease Yuey from across the table, before the girl could question what was happening with her betrothed and father.
"Of course they will. After the bond is made, it is tradition." Mo'at shut it down with a sly smile, her eyes glancing to Neytiri. Suddenly Yuey recalled the timed that Mo'at told her of her ceremony. How Neytiri came to be. A month after that ceremony she was expecting Neytiri. Yuey coughed a bit trying to hide her grin as she ate.
As the night went on, the two families mingled and bonded, danced, sang together. Because it was only a matter of time before they would all be one huge family. Yuey danced with tuk, kiri, Jake, neytiri, and lo'ak. They sang the songs of the song cord. It was a good night. She never quite figured out what happened between Neteyam and her dad. Although she was determined to.
When the night came to an end, Neteyam and Yuey stumbled out of the tent, back to their own one. They were hand in hand, as they always were when they were walking together. They didn't talk that much on the way home, just basking in the feeling of happiness between them. When they got to their tent they smiled staring at each other before they erupted into fits of laughter.
"I can't believe that it's going to actually happen!"
"Finally!" The pair spoke in sync as Yuey moved to where she kept her herbs, needing to grind more into paste for the upcoming day. Neteyam came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, his head resting on her shoulder. As she grinded the plants up into powder he would add water to it, helping her however he could. She leaned back against him, her back to his chest.
"I am so happy...in a month we will be mated before Eywa." She said her excitement bubbling over as she wiggled in his grasp. She was feeling so many emotions at once, all good ones.
"In a month, you will be my mate. And I, yours. You will finally have siblings, like you have always wanted." Yuey would laugh at Neteyams words, turning around in his grasp. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her lips to kiss sweetly. There were sparks in the kiss, no matter how many times they kissed. It always felt like the first time. She pulled away and pressed her forehead to his.
"Nothing could ruin this feeling." Her promised one spoke, making her nod in agreement. They belonged to each other. It was fate.
Nothing could go wrong.

A Gift from Eywa. Pt 1
This is my first fanfiction that I have ever written and I have alot of hope for this, I'm not quite sure how long it will be so please be patient with me and enjoy. Just a quick warning there will be smut eventually but that is in later chapters and I'll put a warning then. The characters will be aged up. Neteyam will be 20. Yuey (the oc) is 19. Lo'ak and kiri are also 19. Enjoy!
_______________________________
The sun had risen, which meant it was time for Yuey to drag herself out of the bed. She was a healer, mo'ats apprentice and the next Tsahik. She was promised to Neteyam, the next Olo'eyktan. It was her choice to be. He was her sacred one. She wouldn't have it any other way. The two had not yet mated, but it wouldn't be too long. They had to do it the traditional way, the right way. But seeing as she was a healer, and raids on the sky people were getting more and more frequent, the more work that she would have to do. Not that she was complaining, she loved healing others. It was her passion.
Around 12 years old, she had started showing an interest in healing others. She was fascinated by the way certain herbs and plants could heal an injury or cure a sickness. She would always seek out the healers of the ometicaya clan and just watch them for hours and hours, watching the way they would grind plants into a paste before smearing it on a wound.
By the time she was 14, her mother and father allowed her to start training to be a healer. Mo'at saw great promise in her and took her under her wing. It was a great honor. But because of this, she met Neteyam. They clicked instantly, although they wouldn't know what it meant until years later. She would spend alot of time with the Tsahik and her family, soon she spent as much time as she did with Ninat and Ta'zi, her parents.
When she was 16, Mo'at suggested that Yuey become the next Tsahik, that's how strong her passion for healing others, and Eywa, had become. But perhaps the budding relationship she had with the Olo'eyktan's son had something to do with it. No one would know. It took everyone a while to get used to the idea, but one look between Neteyam and Yuey, and the rest was history.
Sacred one, or in Na'vi, Swok'aw. It was a rare thing, under Ometicaya legend it was the person that Eywa had designed for you herself. It was rare that the two people would meet, and become whole. But they had found each other. It was a push and pull, that's how it felt. When they were together, if one moved the other moved. If one spoke, the other was compelled to listen. A feeling of wholeness. It's like the two were drawn to eachother like magnets.
The girl peeled herself out if her bed, stretching her deep blue arms over her head. Neteyam was still sleeping next to her, they were able to decide when they became adults if they wanted to live together, even if their wedding would be long after. He slept so peaceful that she almost didn't want to move and wake him. But she had to get moving. She would stare at his features for a few seconds, recalling how his face had changed over the years. What used to be a chubby and rounded face was now sharp. She slipped off of their pod being careful not to wake the sleeping first born. Her body was calling her to climb back in bed with her sacred one.
Instead, she opted for leaning over to press a gentle kiss to his sleeping forehead before she grabbed her satchel that held all of her herbs and plants for her patients, slinging it on her shoulder before she stepped out of their tent, letting the blanket that covered the opening slid back down as she left. The Na'vi looked around seeing her people start to por out of their tents and start their day, all except the wounded. Who she was about to seek out. Mo'at had divided the wounded between the two of them. In total, Yuey would go see 12 patients in one day. Meaning that on the last raid, 24 were wounded.
She walked along High Camp, up in the Hallellujah mountains, saying hi to those she would pass with a smile on her face and occasionally stopping to have a conversation with those around her. Eventually she got to the tent where they kept 12 of the wounded. She ducked into the tent and looked around, getting to work.
[4 hours later]
Yuey stared down at her hands, they were bruised and a bit bloodied from constantly grinding herbs and making pastes when she was out of the ones she needed. Her hands were soft, not yet hard like Mo'at. She would shake her head before she dropped her hands, saying good bye to her patients with a warm smile.
"Don't get too rowdy while I'm gone, Eywa is watching." She would tell them playfully as she dipped down out of the tent. Her hair was held back by a leather piece she had crafted, keeping it out of her face. She kept it in braids most the time, but she still had to keep it out of her eyes while she worked. She pulled the leather piece and her hair fell down onto her shoulders. She had to be graceful, she would be the next tsahik. Although she was different than Mo'at she would not run away from violence, she doesn't like it, but she would fight for her people. Fight for those that she cared.
She watched the younger kids of the village scurry around, playing and laughing. She couldn't help but smile it was a heart warming sight. Eventually her favorite Sully ran up to her and clung to her waist. She looked down at the young girl, Tuk.
"Tuk! How is my favorite girl doing?" She would ask as she picked up Tuk, she saw her as a younger sister.
"I am okay, but my hair... I messed it up when I was running." The little girl would speak with a pout and that's when Yuey noticed that her usual braids were coming undone.
"Well, we got to fix that don't we? Come on, I'll help you." She often times found herself doing her hair, and in turn Tuk would try to braid flowers into her hair. She walked them to the Sully's tent, going to where they knew the hair sap would be. She sat down and waited for Tuk to climb into her Lap, every day Yuey would notice that Tuk started to look more and more like her mother, Neytiri.
"Do you want bead, or flowers this time?" As she asked her hands worked on undoing the braids on the little girl's head.
"Beads! They look so good when you do them!" Tuk giggled out, Yeuy shaking her head as she laughed.
"One day, I will teach you." She said as she started to fix the younger hair, her hands moving quickly, gently, and expertly. She had always done her own hair, so she got pretty good at doing all sorts of braids. Her mother taught her young.
The two girls talked and joked for an hour, letting the two bond before Neteyam stumbled into the tent. From the look of suprise on his face, he wasn't expecting to see them there. Although his gaze was soft.
"There are my two pretty girls." As Neteyam spoke his accent came out. Tuk giggled and scrambled off of Yuey, going to hug her brother.
"Neteyam!" The girls had cheered at the same time, and when Yuey realized this she let out a laugh as her cheeks heated up. She was just as excited to see him as the 8 year old.
"What are you doing here, you looked suprised to see us?" Yuey asked as she stood up walking over to them, a curious glint in her eyes as her ears twitched.
"Mother cannot find her visor, she wants to go down to the Forrest and hunt with the other women, today is slow so she wants to relax with her friends." Neteyam explained, but as he did Yuey busied herself with finding Neytiri's visor hoping that it would be where she last saw it. And it was!
"Here!" She cheered as she hopped over a pile of blankets to hand it to Neteyam, feeling a zap of electricity hit her fingertips as they grazed with her soon to be mate.
Neteyam smiled and leaned down to kiss her cheek, he was taller than her. About a whole head. She had stopped growing before he did, she stopped at 18. At a 9'2.
"Are we still doing that big dinner with our families?" She asked him, her parents were supposed to join the sullys for dinner to discuss their wedding, when the ceremony would be held. Most Na'vi wouldn't have a big ceremony before they mate, but of you were to be the next tsahik or Olo'eyktan it had to be in front of the people of the village along with in front of Eywa. It was a big and very important occasion. They had planned for it to be held in a month.
"Yes we are, I heard dad and mom talking about what to make." Neteyam had shrugged at her question although he would grim down at yuey, hugging his sister tightly. Yuey was excited to officially join their family. She was an only child, she had no siblings of her own.
Neteyam put Tuk back onto the ground and the little girl ran off, mumbling something about showing off her hair. Yuey smiled and wrapped her arms around Neteyam, hiding his face into her chest. She missed him, although they had not been apart for long she could not stand it. Her body missed him, her soul missed him.
"You were gone when I woke up with morning." Neteyam said returning the embrace and holding his future Tsahik close.
"I am sorry, I had patients to tend to and I didn't want to wake you."
"Hm...I suppose it is okay. But next time wake me up and I will join you. I've been so busy I could use a distraction before I get to my duties." It was true, Yuey couldn't even count the times that she saw him staying up late to plan the next raid with his father.
"I will, I promise you. That reminds me, how are you feeling does your back hurt?" The healer in her came out as she pulled away and turned him around. The last raid, 2 days ago, he had tried to get his brother out of the middle of it and in turned he got hit by some debris and before he knew it. A long cut about 7 inches long was down his back. She gave him a long lecture on being more careful that night, mending his wounds.
"I am okay. It doesn't hurt as much, you take care of me so it's healing very well." Neteyam spoke cheekily as Yuey blushed, his accent coming out as her eyes scanned over his back. Her eyes took note of the muscles on his back and the way they would contact as her fingers trailed along his cut. She tried to keep her mind at bay as she nodded.
"After the dinner tonight I will put some more yana'ba paste on it."
