I think that that sort of thing, when we talk about being happy or loving yourself, those are all things that we feel sometimes. And maybe this song is a glimpse of that moment when we do feel like that, when we’re having the best day. You know, when the sun is shining, when you’re like ‘It’s going to be an okay day! Everything’s gonna be good. I’m alright with myself.’ But one thing that I always keep tabs on is that there is no happily ever after where we’re just happy forever. Happiness is always going to be a struggle, a challenge that we have to try and meet. Self-worth is a process of trying to get there’ that’s not naturally how we’re going to feel al the time. Even in the moments when I’m feeling really, really low, it will be helpful when I get to go onstage, play this song, see other people singing it back to me. So it isn’t just a song that’s for, ‘Oh, put this on when you feel good.’ It’s like, ‘put this on when you don’t feel good about yourself, and maybe it will help you get back to a point where you do.’ That’s how I look at it at last, because I definitely don’t feel good all the time
