Meet Kelleigh Mills 📱

Kelleigh is a low level telekinetic who may seem disinterested or distracted from most things going on, but that’s because she is. Most of what people have to say is of little interest to Kelleigh, as she’d rather spend time scrolling on her phone. But despite her flagrant apathy she is acutely aware of what’s happening around her.

Her high intelligence, photographic memory, and multi-tasking skills means she’s able to pay surface level attention to her environment and still recall every detail. It can be exhausting to be constantly in tune to everything happening around her, so she’s opted to not care about it all as much as possible to stay sane.

Meet Rosalina Alvarez 💪

Rosalina is a girl of few words who is happy to let her fists do the talking. Rosalina at heart is a tender soul, though upon first impressions you might not notice. Having grown up as a relatively small kid for most of her adolescence, she quickly became a target for bigger bullies. Despite this she developed a very tough and prickly exterior, learning how to defend herself even when she was the weaker opponent.

Eventually she developed super strength and a super growth spurt along with it, finally bringing her stature to match her attitude. It’s because of this that Rosalina has a soft spot for the “little guys”, willing to defend those who cannot defend themselves. After her family emigrated to the States from Mexico, she decided to pursue this desire to help in the halls of AKA, hoping to one day be a hero who could help even more people.

Meet Nathan "Ice" Donovan 🧊

Bold and striking are understatements when it comes to Ice’s presence. Nathaniel, or “Ice”, as he prefers to be called, embodies confidence and being cool under pressure. Having trained extensively since he was very young, Ice is a fiercely competent athlete with a bright future ahead of him.

Even with everything going for him, Ice has never let his ego get out of control. Because of this, Ice is seen as one of the most skilled and powerful students on campus who’s also fun to be around. His chill demeanor & kind hearted nature has turned him into somewhat of a big brother role to many younger students, as he is often willing to lend constructive advice to those who may need it. But don’t expect him to go easy on anyone in a sparring match, he still has a reputation to maintain.

Like his namesake, Ice has the ability to summon and manipulate ice. By freezing the moisture in the air, Ice can shoot ice projectiles, beams of frost, create ice simple constructs, and generate sheets of ice on surfaces underneath him allowing him to skate and slide at high speeds. Due to his ice manipulating abilities his body is incredibly resistant to extremely low temperatures and more durable than common humans.

Meet Benjamin Balthazar 😈

Chock-full of warmth and southern hospitality, Benjamin is one of the kindest souls you���ll ever meet. At first glance his daemon horns and powers might be off-putting, but they are always accompanied by his friendly face and gentle smile. Growing up half human and half daemon, Benjamin has often had to deal with the fears and prejudices of ignorant people, but it has never stopped him from leading with kindness. Whether it’s gifting you some homemade baked goods or helping teleport you halfway across town to beat traffic, you can always count on Benjamin to offer a lending hand.

Benjamin’s daemon lineage has granted him dominion over space (as described in daemon lore). He can create nether portals through space, allowing instant travel to far away locations. His portals cut through the Nether (home realm of daemons), and connect to points on earth he has visited before or can see within his line of sight. The more familiar with a location he is or clearer it is to see, the easier it is for him to portal there. He can also create portals directly to the Nether, but since he’s unfamiliar with the realm, the destinations are essentially random.

Meet Angel Olivera👻

Being the quiet and introspective type, Angel has often kept everyone at a distance. His past struggles to discover himself have left him as somewhat of a troubled soul. But although he may be cold and indifferent to many, he is also warm and open to a select few he allows in. He was closest friends with Kai at one point, but after a detrimental fallout between them, Angel has since become a loner. Angel is mad at the world and the rampant fakeness people put on display, but at the end of the day he’s just a sensitive kid who wishes he could run away from it all.

Angel has the ability to control the tangibility of his body, shifting his mass from solid to intangible. With this he’s able to pass through solid materials with ease. His intangible state can cause electromagnetic disruptions to electrical equipment, causing them to malfunction or break. Anything in direct contact with his body when he shifts will also become intangible with him, meaning his clothes, accessories, or people holding him can be made to pass through solid materials as well.

Meet Dawn Mlynarek🐀

All of her life, Dawn has carried herself with a confidently open heart and mind. Often seen with one of her adorable critters, Dawn has a deep love for wildlife and nature much in thanks to her alpha abilities. With her deep connection to animals, she's fostered a sincere sense of empathy that's helped guide her to where she is now. Though she has no strong desire to pursue the superhero life, she remains a strong advocate for the rights and needs of the most vulnerable, animal and human alike.

Dawn is a faunapath, able to psychically communicate with a variety of animals on an emotional level. Her power works strongest with smaller fauna like insects, rodents, birds, and lizards. but she can extend her abilities to larger or more intelligent creatures as well, like dogs and horses, although to a limited degree.

Though she cannot read their minds in a straightforward manner, she can connect with their emotions, feeling them as if they are her own. Through this connection she can visualize their memories and desires, sometimes even able to influence them to calm down or stir it into action.

Meet Bibi Rossum 📸

Sometimes reserved, sometimes forward, Bibi can oftentimes be tough to figure out. Whereas most students are captivated with the dream of being a hero, Bibi is still trying to find her purpose, whatever it may be. Coming from a tumultuous upbringing, She’s determined to use AKA and anything else she can to find a path towards a better life, even though she doesn’t always feel like she deserves it. She’s unsure of her place in AKA, and of what the academy means to her as a whole, but she hasn’t given up on figuring it out.

Bibi has the ability to manipulate light in various ways. She can emit light from her hands to a blinding degree, and condense it into searing hot shards of solid light. As a side-effect of her abilities, her skin is much denser and more heat resistant than normal.

Meet Adrián "Cannon" Cabral 💣

Just like his namesake, Cannon is a loud and explosive force of nature. Often seen palling around with his best friend, Hunter, the two create the perfect storm of big cocky bro-ey energy. Cannon is fiercely loyal and especially protective of his loved ones, having trained intensively for years to be strong enough for the job.

Though he can be incredibly friendly and jovial with the people he likes, he can also be quite aggressive and confrontational with the people he doesn’t. His tough demeanor coupled with Hunter’s arrogant nature has earned him a reputation as a bit of a bully. Despite this, Cannon has dedicated himself to work as hard as he can to one day become a worthy superhero and provider for his family.

Cannon has the ability to charge his body up with kinetic energy and launch himself at incredible speeds with explosive force. This charged energy envelops his body in an aura that makes him very strong and nearly indestructible.

Meet Hunter Solomon ⚡

Son of the famed hero, Thunder Solomon, Hunter is basically superhero royalty. With his mother as the leader of the Vanguard, he has an all but guaranteed spot on the team in his future, and he knows it. Though deeply loyal to his friends, he’s cocky to a fault, and abrasive to many.

Having inherited his mother’s electrokinetic abilities, Hunter is a powerhouse with the training, privilege, and attitude to back it up. Hunter is determined to follow in his mother’s footsteps and become a great superhero, but the weight of that legacy might prove to be heavier than he can bear.

Meet Xiomara Obessi 💜

Compassionate and affable, Xiomara sees the best in people and strives to be friends with everyone. Often acting as a friendly welcoming party to new students, she’s a social butterfly who takes it upon herself to make people feel comfortable and appreciated. When she isn’t throwing parties or planning student events, she’s usually immersing herself in various projects and extracurriculars. There’s barely a single person at AKA who has anything negative to say about Xiomara, thanks to her kindhearted nature and willingness to please everyone, even if it comes at the expense of her own needs.

Xiomara possesses a heirloom necklace with a special carved magenta crystal. This necklace allows her to tap into energy that manifests as glowing solid light armor that forms around her body in various ways.

Meet Leo Wynton 🔎

Brilliant but wary, Leonard initially enrolled into Alpha King Academy with an enthusiasm & eagerness to learn. But starting as a 12 year old student amongst his several 15 years old and older peers, quickly led to him feeling self-conscious and isolated.

Leo is a genius, with no alpha abilities to speak of. He earned his way into the academy by being a prodigy with outstanding grades. He could’ve skipped even more grades directly into senior year, or potentially freshman year in college, but his parents opted to keep him in classes a little closer to his age to help him develop his social skills. That, however, would prove to be easier said than done.

Meet Kai Tomás 💾

A smart, nerdy, tech genius with a kind heart. Kai was a young alpha with technopathic abilities growing up in the foster care system until eventually being adopted by Three Kings member, King Sphinx. Being taken under Sphinx’s wing, Kai got a beeline to Alpha King Academy and the privileges that came with being the principal’s kid.

In his second year at AKA, Kai acted as the student guide to the new kids Achara, Colt, Diarmuid, Moira, & Will on their first day. This culminates in an exercise gone wrong after messing around in the training gauntlet, nearly getting them all killed and sent to detention. But when the others find Kai deceased in his room the next night, they quickly understand that this was no accident.
