I am a big drama freak, Hong Kong TVB dramas, Taiwanese, Chinese, and Korean. I've kept a notebook/random scraps of paper full of my favorite quotes from the dramas that I've watched so I finally decided to put them all in one place, and this is it. This will also be a place to write down thoughts about my favorite dramas, celebrities, and Asian news. hehe. You can tell what I'm currently obsessed with by looking at the contents of my posts hahah I definitely go through phases....Just went through a Fred Cheng phase lol. Now super into Chinese dramas! Never thought I would be so hooked on Mainland China dramas, but the two recent dramas 何以笙簫默 and 千金女賊 are my new found loves! Love it so much, it's a nice change fom the typical TVB dramas. Adding to the list... Descendants of the Sun... Song Joong Ki is so handsome! 2020.3 update - self quaratining has got me back watching dramas and now current obsession is Crash Landing =P

My review on the kdrama CRASH LANDING ON YOU !! **SPOILER ALERT**
Let me tell you all it was one of the first kdramas that I watched and this had me crying so much . It was infact the first one that made me cry . I will only be talking about the story of the main lead couple because there is al lot to discuss if I don't just mainstream it .
At first when Yoon seri who was from South Korea got accidentally stuck in North Korea i was just so afraid for her . Both the countries are such rivals that it would have been very bad for her if Captain Ri Jung Hyuk wasn't there to help her .
Slowly , they fell in love despite being from rival countries. They shared the same language and culture to a basic level but still there were drastic differences between them and their lifestyle .
The way the protected each other and had each other's back was just so much for me .
The scene where they are at the border and they just had to say a final goodbye to each other and they did so without caring about the military people present (please look for the attached video) , they could have gotten shot at but they didn't care . It got me crying so hard .
Despite the fact that they could never be together because of the rivalry between their countries and the existing situation and laws, they still made it work in the end .
Spoiler alert
They meet once a year in Switzerland for a few days every year !! This ending scene just got me crying soo much ....
There is just so much to say and discuss i can write a full book on it , I loved it so much but I am not very good with words so I will leave it here .

IMO them meeting 2 weeks every year is more than enough in their current circumstances. I believe they will find a way to be together for good. Either they get married in Switzerland (I don't know how that works, tho. Can 2 ppl from NK and SK get married abroad?) But somehow I believe if, IF, Seri is pregnant, Jeong Hyeok is more than willing to defect to South. Probably with some NIS agents lurking about for the first few months, making sure he did not act weird and all (laughs).
I believe somehow they will find their happy ending. Like, the ending they wanted and deserves.

It always kills me that scene where Se-Ri apologizes to her bois because it is because of her that they got beat up and in trouble and, since she has no money to thank them, she gives them finger hearts.
All the bois shocked faces; Captain Ri can't believe what he is seeing... That capitalist woman! Giving away her finger heart to these soldiers! How many hearts does she think she has? What about... what about the heart she gave him?
Happy Se-Ri, jealous Captain Ri, flustered Kwang-Beom because he got TWO finger hearts what a lucky boy. They clear my skin.
