Years later, I got the chance to rewatch red sleeve again. The rewatch made it even more interesting as I understood all the hidden details regarding the yisan family and the references made here and there in the show. No matter how I look at it, this was such a brilliantly made drama. All time favorite for its authentic potrayal and visually pleasing cinematography

About 'The Red Sleeve' , I have never been this whipped for a historical drama before.

It changed my outlook towards Sageuk dramas.

Its worth all the hype that it's getting now.

So I think that Yijin is adopted or the son of the chairman's first wife. Because in episode 10 the chariman (his dad) told yijin that he was his greatest consolation 10 years ago, and yijin is 23. why would he phrase it like that??? and yijin did not reveal anything about his family when everyone else did at the beach. i think there's something sus with his background!

i am going to be honest bruh i have seen theories about yijin being dead, having cancer, being minchae's real father, being minchae's future father, being in outer space with nasa, dying in 9/11, being his mother's real son, being his uncle's real son, working in florida, etc. and my head is SPINNING and i have no clue about what is right and what is wrong.........at this point i am just going with the flow....but this is an interesting observation...... 😭
