Príchod Vesny (maľba)

The arrival of Vesna - Inspired by Botticelli's Birth of Venus. But I didn't quite like the mythological background of that scene. It seemed too materialistic to me. In addition to the material, I tried to include spiritual symbolism here. Spring is coming and the snow is melting. Winter is ending and with it the reign of darkness. Vesna brings life and joy. Saffrons grow from under the snow and bloom in a color reminiscent of the crown chakra - sahasrara. This natural event is therefore an allegory of spiritual awakening. So Vesna here symbolizes the love/touch of the divine.
