I'm watching The Man in the High Castle and I'm starting to think they don't know what Landouzy–Dejerine syndrome (aka FSHD) looks like...what was that in S2Ep7? It's called muscle dystrophy for a reason, 'seizures' aren't a typical symptom as far as I know. And there are easier ways to show he has it, 1) scapula winging, or 2) facial weakness (like people asking why he's not smiling and he's confused because he thought he was smiling...).

Percy listens to those whale noises that people use to sleep and he just listens to them like a podcast.
And any time he hears someone like Annabeth listening to them he's like "Wow Daphne is really something else. Honestly I can't believe she would do that"
And like she's like "what?"
And Percy just translates the entire thing to her and instead of calming sounds to help her concentrate she now has Percy tell her all the whale drama which she is oddly immersed with.

I wonder from where so many Americans get the idea that voting is supposed to be some expression of your deepest, most beloved values and virtues rather than a pragmatic, political move meant to shift your country as much closer to your ideal as possible. This strikes me as another example of extreme individualism. Voting isn’t about *you*. It’s about your city, state, and/or country. It doesn’t have to feel transcendently good deep down in your bones. It just has to *do* as much good as you can do, in this particular moment in time.
