“Yeah but they are oooold. Old old old.” He said with a laugh “I do know what you mean though, even a gilded cage is a cage.” he smiled and nuzzled the other dragon, sailing close to him, it wasn’t often Anders got to just do as he pleased. He was a warm and affectionate dragon, quick to make friends.

“Come on we get go there! It will be fun I can show you everything. I can show you my temple and the cave and all my treasures.” he was happy to share his home with the other dragon. He was very proud of his little space in the world.  “Doesn’t matter you are just Drake! And Drake is a good thing to be. Pretty Drake.” he said blowing mist from his nose with a snort. “Come with me. Fly with me so I can show and you don’t have to go home just yet!”

Drake laughed, flying after Anders.  “At least you have others.  I just have my Da and while I love him, I can’t stand being with him all the time.  I just need a break sometimes, you know?”  Which was why he was here right now and not back on the island  with his father.

“I would love that.  I can’t imagine Da would have an issue with me visiting other dragons.  You get burned at the stake by humans one time and all of the sudden I need to stay away from humans forever.”  He had been young and foolish.  It wasn’t a mistake he would make again.  “I want to visit!  Maybe I could do it soon!  I don’t want to go home yet either.”  If he had been in his other form, Drake would have blushed.  Instead he lowered his eyes and sort of mumbled, “Thank you.  I look like my father in this form.  I’ve never met any others like us.  I don’t even know what type we are exactly.”  His father said they were Natharirian but Cris had learned that it was simply a Celtic word for ‘dragon’ so he was unsure.

for some godforsaken reason, tumblr’s updated such that some links no longer work. for example, a lot of people have /link on their pages instead of url.tumblr.com/link, tumblr’s made it so that now, when you click on the link, it takes you to t.umblr.com/link. i know i’m not the only person who shortcuts on their links like this, but tumblr is out to get us i swear. this only happens on pages, so if you have links in your HTML, you’re fine but if you have links in your pages (aka no html, no fancy coded pages) that lead to other pages, tags, etc, THEY ARE BROKEN! even if this doesn’t help you specifically, please reblog to help other people!!! i’ve checked around 10 blogs and it’s broken on everyone!!!!
