the confession: i'm sad about cole being mentally a child because i was planning on going for a romance with him. i just really like the waifish/tortured look, and i'm really into the idea of a human with a spirit or ghost of some kind, exploring the relationship, etc. etc. if i could have romanced justice in awakening, i would have.

the confession: Part of the way through my first play through Act 2 of DA2 I finally specced my mage Hawke as a healer so I wouldn't have to listen to Anders bitch anymore and it was among the best decisions I've ever made

the confession: I really really hope the Sera romance doesn’t suck but the fact that it’s being written by a man already tells me it probably will.  And people will use that as an excuse to blow her off, when it’s really because they’re a bunch of hypocrites who scream for more queer women but only care about fetishizing queer men. It makes me kind of miserable.

the confession: I have a cousin's wedding AND my university graduation towards the end of the year, but instead of counting down excitedly for those events, I'm focusing completely on Inquisition and my birthday. Why? Because here in Australia, Inquisition technically comes out on the 9th/10th of October - and my birthday is the 10th! The Inquisitor's Edition is my 23rd birthday present to myself and I'm so excited ^_^

My confession about my character's sexuality and accidentally taking romantic dialogue was in reference to DA:O. I have not played DA2 and was unaware that indicators has been added, but I'm happy to hear about it.

the confession: I think it's very silly that some people who find Cole attractive are being labelled as pedophiles. There is a huge difference between being attracted to an ACTUAL child and being attracted to an adult who is mentally immature. Wanting to romance him would be be more like taking advantage of a vulnerable adult than pedophilia (since he is not a child), imo. I'd prefer to have a close friendship with him, I think a strong relationship based on mutual trust would be really cool to watch develop.

the confession: I actually think it's best not to reveal any more plot details until the release of DAI. Too many games these days reveal half their plot before releasing. I want to be surprised when I play DAI for the first time.

the confession: I don't want Vivienne to be a LI. I love her too much for it. If she is, then all the female companions are available to you as the player (sexuality is irrelevent in that). I don't want Bioware to send that message that all women are accessible when there are so few in the companions. Vivienne has more important things to do than date you. Sentimentality is not an option.

the confession: I love the hypocrisy in this fandom. The cis gay dudes are telling the people who wanted Cassandra open to women to calm down, claiming they did good by "avoiding the stereotype". Meanwhile, Dorian is as "stereotypical gay" as it gets & if it had been reversed, you'd be just as upset. We've never had a butch f/f LI before so I & everyone else have every right to be upset. Stereotypes represent real people so don't you dare tell me I should shut up about not being represented.

the confession: I really doubt Cullen would have so many people jumping to his defense if he weren't straight, white, and male.

the confession: I wish there was a way to indicate your character's sexuality at the start of each game. I'm terrible at telling the difference between friendship cues and potential romance cues, and more than once this has resulted in my character accidentally leading someone on that they'd never even be compatible with.

How many confessions a day would you like to see? I don't want to seem spammy and flood your dashboards but I also don't want to post at a minimum.

the confession: I still don't get how Anders is supposed to be representative of the mentally ill. I would've thought Fenris and his PTSD would be the representation there.
