I was thinking about Scorpia and how her grandfather supposedly handed her and the rune stone over to the Hoard. The damage to the portraits of her family imply infighting. Then I had the thought that maybe her grandfather somehow saw something about the heart of Etheria and did what he did to postpone it in any way possible, namely by putting Scorpia in a situation that kept her disconnected from her rune stone. It's possible the fighting was due to disagreement over what to do. Maybe he killed all of them to disconnect the older already connected members of the family from the rune stone. As an infant she may have been the only one spared. Maybe he couldn't explain it to her parents and they simply destroyed each other fighting for their own versions of what was best for her. Idk, her story had just enough depth to get you thinking but not quite deep enough to give solid answers.

Gotta say, the parallels between Hordak's erasure by and his eventual freedom from Prime are too good not to point out. No real reason, just randomly thought about it

Finished the 3rd full body of 4, at least I think I have despite wanting to stare and tweek at it for hours lol. Selena the sun goddess, a powerful giantess and great leader of the hunt. Her warmth brought life to the surface that her mother Irja had protected deep inside for many millennia

Yay I finished the second full body sister. Four arms was a new challenge for me

Maybe it's arrogant to say, I hope not, but I'm really proud of completing this project after years of art block. The first of the 4 took years of slow and gradual work while the others I did a good job of busting out in the last couple months. Left top to bottom right are Selena the sun goddess, Aldean the water goddess, Hyla the corrupted wind goddess, and Kamaria the moon goddess. These 4 sisters are at the core of a story I've been working on for a long time. They came out beautiful and I love them

Finished portrait of goddess #3 of 4, Aldean the water goddess. Trying to get the ringlet curls right was challenging but she's my favorite of the 4 so far just cause she came out adorable. Went ahead and included the progress from beginning to end
