I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

This weekend I sent my original characters to the lake to celebrate the end of summer (and also to live vicariously through them because I broke my arm and can’t do anything 😢). Soooooooo this is what the earlier warm up drawings were warming up to. I think I’m starting to get the hang of this rendering stuff. Hoping to do more limited palette work and pieces with full backgrounds in the future. Please like and reblog thank you <3

This weekend I did a bunch of fun little doodles (and one very fancy one 👀) of my OCs having fun at the lake! So I’m gonna do a series of posts today to celebrate the end of summer.

First up are Rainier and Jules engaging in the local beach tradition of shiny rock hunting! It’s my fave thing to do at the lake though I’ve never found an agate bigger than a marble. But yah Rainier is obsessed with rocks and could spend hours hunting for shinies. Meanwhile Jules came to the beach with the intent of getting a tan and taking a nice long nap, but gets sucked into the shiny rock hustle instead lol

I’m continuing to try out a cute simplified style and I’m not sure how well it’s working so lmk what you think! I’m kinda new to drawing in a more cartoon style so I’m just gonna keep trying stuff and see what sticks.

Yall I’m laid up with a broken arm (don’t worry it’s a minor fracture, my dignity is more injured because it was very silly how I broke it) and I desperately want to go to the beach so I’m doing beach drawings of my ocs this weekend. I know the PSL is out but it’s not yet Labor Day so it’s still summer gosh darn it! But to draw my little guys at the beach I had to figure out their swimwear situation first so here’s my little outfit test lmk what you think…

I got some romantic OC content here! I don’t think I’d ever drawn my OCs kissing (probably because drawing kisses is HARD y’all). But yeah one of the joys of OCs is smashing em together like Barbies so I’m probably gonna do more of that.
