You know what? I will. *Cracks knuckles*

Tenma has prosthetic legs.

So, this is one I’ve had for years ever since the Birth of Atom short was created. To anyone who has ever looked at Tenma’s 2003 art and been like ‘DUDE, you love your shiny gold buttons’ but thought nothing else about them, well… Watch the short. Look at the x-ray/heat scanning scene and note the knees.

Probably nothing, sure. But I have to admit I enjoy the headcanon that he’s used robotic parts on himself.

The design of his 03 attire kida makes sense. His trousers appear to actually be all in one. There is no hem to them, they just keep going right into boot at the bottom.

Again, probably nothing, but I like to think that when he went nuts after Tobio’s death he got caught in the crossfire and WHOMP.

The button looking things?

Yeah. Could just be style choice. I dunno. Rambling now.

That’s my headcanon anyway.

On this date 30 years ago (February 9, 1989), Osamu Tezuka unfortunately passed away at the age of 60 due to stomach cancer.

His legacy as a manga artist, cartoonist, animator, and film producer continue to live on to this day.
