The new update came out, and I WISH I was further along the story mode, but it’ll be fine.

Look who decided going up against the eternal flame was a good idea when their big sis couldn’t beat him? Dummy.

This has now developed into an au of mine that I have the energy to draw. It is short, a bit episodic with a running timeline, and has angst. In short, just what I need.

I bring to the table sketches and doodles of my ocs hanging out with canon cookie run characters!

First we got Lime Jelly Cookie, who was made by Butter Roll Cookie in an experiment that used a part of Agar Agar’s jelly body. They are loyal to their friends in the CoD, but not really Dark Enchantress Cookie herself.

Lime Jelly Cookie is especially close to Agar Agar, as they view her as their older sister. As for what Agar Agar is sorry for… that’s a secret for now.

Jelly Mushroom Cookie who lives with her adoptive mother in a small town somewhere on Crispia that doesn’t have much going on. She runs into Licorice cookie out in the woods one day, and they strike up a deal where Jelly Mushroom learns magic and Licorice is a free cookie!

Jelly Mushroom Cookie is best at healing magic, but she can summon minor illusions (I have no idea what the lore is about illusion magic but I like the idea of her making fake birbs). She is excelling far past Licorice Cookie when he was her age, and that causes him both pride because he teaches her, and jealousy because he has a fragile ego and doesn’t want to be one upped by a child.

Fortunately Jelly Mushroom Cookie prefers healing magic, so Licorice Cookie doesn’t feel too jealous for now.

Day 4: Morel with Grampa dude

I was pretty tired today, and combined with the fact that I had NO ideas for what to do with morel (at least not creatively) made me feel blah.

So I made at of my ocs.

Enrica is a moody 14 year old (yes she looks like a child that’s important) that can’t understand why the mysterious god (me) wants to put her grampa in such a weird outfit.

Grampa is just here for a fun time, he’s really chill. Almost like her been TRAUMATIZED!

But ye, Grampa is morel and Enrica wants to rot in bed.

Day 3!

I had trouble with this day, I had an idea but it just didn’t feel right.

That was, until I took a trip down memory lane in ibis county, and I remembered my oc Beatrix.

I suddenly got shot with inspiration, and now this exists!

Bea’s a bit of a trickster and probably snarking at one of her family’s “enemy’s” (aka someone who annoys her) or bragging to her sibling Lou about something stupid she did

For this day I had the specific idea of roller skater from the get-go, and the only thing that gave me trouble was the pose/composition.

All in all, I’m really happy with how this piece turned out on a rendering level, especially since I had only a teeny bit of an idea of what to do.

The year is coming to a close, and with it, a new period of my life will start.

I’ve been all self reflecty lately, and it’s helped me work on the projects I love and has helped me experiment and plan for my future.

This year may have flown by for me, but it wasn’t anywhere close to a waste, in fact it was quite the opposite. I wouldn’t trade the experiences I’ve had for the world.
