i love when someone makes a post that uses a factoid that's slightly overly simplified but not meaningfully wrong, and then like 75% of the notes are the exact same pedantic correction. they're all living in their own little fact-checking universe, completely disconnected from all the others but seeing the same thing, and they all decide to be annoying in the exact same way. the sheer solipsism of it, the firm belief that you are the only conscious mind in a field of sheep, a belief so deeply-held that you won't even click a single button to test it. it's beautiful, in a way.
