The inner workings of the Electric Blanket #gutshotculture

The Electric Blanket is essentially the preamp of an OR120 in stompbox format. I've tested it over the course of a year playing it through bass (success) and guitar. With no diode clipping this pedal imparts the colour and response of the OR and will kindly push the front end of your tube amp into complete saturation. I usually set the amp's pre low and let this take over. Not to be mistaken for a distortion. This pedal offers a low-medium gain open, uncompressed sound with loads of volume on tap and articulates a different dynamic out of each bit of gear you run with it. A worthy alternative to fuzz, it loves being blasted through the input with one though. Touch sensitivity and effective use of the volume knob on your guitar offers dynamics and articulation a fuzz can't offer. For every new bit of gear I try it with I dial it into the sweet spot and it offers something fresh. I really hope you guys like it, it's been a long burner to say the least.
