Texas Looks To Decriminalize Marijuana, Sheriffs Say ‘No Chance’

(DailyCaller) A new marijuana decriminalization bill has just been introduced to the Texas legislature, but the Texas Sheriff’s Association has stated publicly that if they have any say, marijuana will not be coming to Texas any time soon, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

What’s more, the Sheriff’s Association doesn’t at all believe that decriminalization is inevitable, despite the arguments of marijuana advocates.

“The Sheriff’s Association position is that we are going to oppose any effort to decriminalize marijuana, or legalize medical marijuana or any of the components of marijuana,” Brazos County Sheriff Chris Kirk told News Radio 1200 WOAI.  “Of course, we will vigorously oppose any effort to legalize marijuana.”

Artist Heather Dewey-Hagborg takes DNA taken from chewed up gum, cigarette buds, and nail clippings she finds in public places(Brooklyn) to reproduce people’s faces.

After extracting the DNA from her samples, she focuses on specific genomic regions, sequences them and then enters the data into a computer program, which produces a model of the face of the person who tossed that item onto the ground.

She then uses a 3D printer to  sculptures of the faces that look very much like death masks.
