I personally love Hanako and Mitsu but I have to agree that supernaturals are typically evil. Hanako has some scenes where it's implied he's an evil spirit, unless he's wearing the cape he uses to fight

Mitsu can also be evil under some perspectives, since he feeds on other supernaturals (and humans, as it was heavily implied) to get stronger and stay in the human world

The wonders, the normal supernaturals, they're all evil under the perspectives of outsiders, of people who aren't fond of them like we readers typically are

Teru is VERY objective, he's right to want to exorcise Hanako, he's right to not wanting Kou to get attached to supernaturals or become one. I'm a big fan of the school wonders (minus number 6) and Hanakou, but I KNOW that supernaturals are bad

I kinda wish more Teru fans agreed with his actual views on supernaturals- I feel like literally the only Teru fan in existence rn that actually agrees that almost all supernaturals are evil and not even other Teru fans seem to think this way- I'm starting to feel left out of the group that I thought were my people...I miss old Teru fans sometimes...I want someone to talk to about this and we're both just like "omg ya he was so right and ___ proves it!!!" Rating my Hanako keychain because there's some guy outside my house and I don't want him to know I live there

9 months old but still in perfect condition - when I bought it I treated it like it was my son but it went through hell afterwards (fell down STILL in the con, fell down outside the con, was pulled ruthlessly to get my keys even when the keys were under other stuff, fell down like 4 or 5 more times, was lost (with the keys), I also hold my keys by it). Not a single scratch (it's a little dirty but it fell down at least 7 times so I can see why)

1000/10 if I recognize the one who sold it at the next con I'm definitely buying another keychain

If it’s still happening, I honestly can’t wait for the moment Kou gets to exorcise Hanako.

If I had to see the scenario out, I think Kou would only do it if absolutely necessary as in it's the only way to save everyone, Hanako has fully accepted his fate (no "I still have things to do here!!" stuff), or Teru is at his breaking point with the supernatural and will ensure his passing as excruciating as possible so he can repent for half the damage he's done. Kou hesitates to do it at first but ultimately when he agrees, I hope it's less "I have to fulfill my duty as an exorcist and uphold Teru's expectations" and more "You're my friend and I wouldn't want you to go out any other way" kind of thing yk? The thought of allowing Hanako to pass with his dignity intact by his favorite exorcist's hand, his other best friend's hand, is something so bittersweet yet absolutely cathartic to me. The tenderness in Kou's gaze as silent tears roll off his cheeks whilst he grips his staff with white knuckles to stop them from shaking so much…The solemn way Hanako pulls off the talisman and says something along the lines of "I told you you'll make a good exorcist, didn't I?" with a genuine smile...Oh my god it’s everything

Yeah, Hanako canonically flirts a lot with Nene, but that's because she's a GIRL - he wouldn't flirt relentlessly with Kou too

Y'all only focus on the fact Hanako's 13 and forget he was born in 1955, not in 2002. He 100% has a shit ton of internalized homophobia and it'd be SO FUNNY to see Hanako just panicking and chanting "girls girls girls girls girls girls" and "boys don't like boys boys don't like boys" over and over because he realized his bro's kinda pretty

Since we saw that when he doesn't know how to react when he's flustered and acts like a little asshole, mocking something he knows the one he's into is insecure about but he finds attractive, he'd probably comment on how Kou is like a housewife, even tho he surely loves Kou's cooking (I have this little ship headcanon where Kou makes Hanako donuts but brushes it off as "yea I made some for my sister and these are the leftovers,,,,," but Hanako knows they were made for him because he's not that stupid) and probably even admires how much effort he puts into taking care of his little sister and big brother
