I've been saying for a long time now when it comes to the government vs the people the deciding factor will always be the military. Because they're in a tight spot. They were trained to work for the government but the belief is that they are for the people and to protect the people.

And we are seeing this happening all over. Military take overs. Again. They will be the deciding factor on who wins.

When it comes to having to choose between what you believe in and what you are ordered to do. It's hard to be able to see which is right.

Remember throughout history how people could never imagine being a solider under a corrupt ruler? How people asked how could someone do that? It's because it never starts like that.

It starts by people believing they're protecting their people and their country. And it slowly gets more and more messed up to the point where they don't realize they're crossing dangerously over the bad guy line until it's too late.

And I'm not sure if they'll be able to realize they're on the wrong side of history before something much, much worse happens.

The military is going to end up being deployed to more and more states. This is a government ordered military takeover. We've already seen this slowly building for awhile now.

the solution for homelessness isn't arresting all of them. It's getting them the help they need to fit into the society standard box. That's it. Helping them enough to get them into the society standard box will be the most effective way.

It's messed up. I know. The belief that people have to fit into a certain set of standards in order not to be harassed or arrested but let's be honest that's how the world works right now when it comes to certain things. If people see you are mentally ill they get scared and when people get scared they do things that aren't necessarily necessary.

And as someone that tends to get wrapped in delusions to the point of only traveling with a chaperone I'm thankful I have someone that can easily pull me away from public if I start freaking out.

Because the main reason people end up getting in trouble for being mentally ill is when there's no one there to help calm them down and make it clear that the person is not a threat to others.

It is scarily easy for someone to get away with killing a mentally ill person by saying their behavior made them afraid. We have seen past cases of this.

Or in summary please for the love of God try to understand why a person is acting the way they are before doing anything. If someone is yelling or screaming it doesn't necessarily mean they are violent. If they are screaming threats then you can assume that. But if someone is just "acting crazy" that doesn't mean they are going to make any move of aggravation towards anyone. I'd recommend assuming people are docile unless they start to show hostility.

btw there's nothing wrong with intergenerational friendships and it is in fact super important for teens to have healthy, respectful relationships with the adults in their lives because it will help them more easily identify when an adult is being toxic, manipulative, or otherwise unsavory if they have healthy relationships to go off of.

"A grown ass adult shouldn't have anything in common with a teenager" okay so you're either operating off of an assumption that either teenagers don't have anything of worth to contribute to a conversation, or that adults aren't allowed to have fun hobbies.

I talked to my teenage cousin for like an hour the other day about character motivations and the core themes of one piece and had a blast talking to her! She had some real insightful things to say!

Teenagers are fully realized and complex human beings! You can talk to them about music, books, video games, hobbies, etc. Stop being weird about it
