"Nii-sama, what brings you to the tenth today?"

"Ukitake Ryouichi, fifth seat of the tenth division. Pleased to meet you, sir." The young noble calmly and quite politely answered with a small boy of his head. He was a little skeptical about the sing song way the older captain greeted him but put it off as perhaps his personality. He did seem rather laid back and easygoing. 

"Good afternoon," Rose sung, offering a smile. Shuttered lids warmed with welcome. He was still quite new to the position, and struggled memorizing faces and names-it was all so different from when he had last been captain. "May I ask for your name~?"

Is very surprised to find his taichou walk in and sit before him.

Was there something he wanted to ask him? Had he done something wrong with the paperwork he submitted? Was this sudden visit about his avoidant behaviour towards the fukutaichou? Too many possibilities!

 Well, might as well just wait and see what he says. At least offer some tea.

“Would like some tea, taichou?”

The younger Ukitake paused beside his eldest brother, silently watching him as he slowly seemed to adapt himself to his surroundings after his short nap. Even though he seemed fully awake there were still signs of grogginess or perhaps he was just in an extremely relaxed state of mind.

At the slightly odd invitation the fifth seat nodded. Why wouldn't he enjoy a cup with him? It had been a long while since the two of them had had the time to converse and just be in each other's company. Especially after the separation and distance that seemed to exist between them after the events that had past. Though he still was unsure of his brother's choice and reasons for the woman he had welcomed into his life, Ryou had decided to forgo the whole thing for now and simply leave it to time.

"Yes, of course I do. It's been a long time since we've had time together. Would you like me to prepare it?" 

Quiet Time With Onii-san || Ryouichi & Jushioru

A gentle aura practically radiated from the older of the two- Jushirou didn’t mind in the slightest that he was roused from a half hearted attempt at sleep, even thinking it was for the best that his light doze was disturbed, otherwise he would have complained from such awful neck pain later on. Such was the difficulties of an older mans life when falling asleep sitting up. The unfaltering smile remained as Jushirou listened to that tone of voice.. something akin to awe perhaps? Of being in his brother’s presence? Ryouichi was only ever ��clumsy” around his big brother. 

"Tea.." Ukitake spoke aloud as though the word was unfamiliar to him. He still sounded half awake and dream-like, looking out the window towards the end of the room as though the weather outside might influence his decision. Then he turned back to face the dark haired youth.

"That depends. Do you have the time to enjoy a cup or two with me?"

Is glad to see her finishing up her paperwork and walks into the room. "Good evening, Lorna." Gracing her with one of his rare smiles. 

/pops his head from behind her door to check on what she's doing

Was just finishing up some last minute paperwork. 

But she does have a baggie of cookies and candy with his name on it!

Feels a little dejected because hasn't received any candy or chocolate yesterday especially not from nii-san.

Lets go of her shoulders and takes a step back, averting his gaze. "I wouldn't mind it..."  

Blinks at her sudden yelling and stands there staring while trying to make out what she's saying since she's talking a little too fast. Something about making him something, and his smile? When did she even see that? Ryouichi raised both brows then reached for her shoulders hoping that would calm her. "Take a deep breath and slow down." He exhaled then cleared his throat before continuing. "Well... You don't have to make anything for me. However, maybe I could assist you in making something?"

"Y-You…want to b-bake t-together…?"

How do I make an unsocial hermit of a person talk to more to ppl and have more interactions/rps? Oh my gawd!

"Hmm, all the paperwork seems jumbled up. Must be because of this holiday."

Exhales very loudly. He's just figured that out actually so yeah, thanks for nothing.
