Pinterest, Brains and Chocolate Sauce
Team x reader
Bold Italics is Venom speaking in your head.
Bold is Venom speaking aloud.
Italics is the reader's thinking.
A/N: Hello dear friends, I am not dead surprise!
"Ugh, that's disgusting, you two." Clint's lip curled up in disgust. "Seriously, I think I'm gonna be sick." He said, covering his mouth and turning his head.
"Then don't watch," Venom said, licking the chocolate sauce off your finger.
"And if you're gonna throw up, do it away from the food." You told the archer. "What do you think, bud? Need salt?" You asked, spreading the sauce further with a spoon.
"Salt would be good."
"When did you start adding things to your sheep's brains, Vee?" Natasha questioned the symbiote, watching the two of you with interest.
"Yeah, don't you usually just open your gullet and swallow in one go?" Tony questioned, causing Clint to gag.
"I'm not eating this one."
"This is mine." You told the man, eating a section before letting out an appreciative hum. "This is done. The salt was a good choice." You said, grabbing your plate and moving to sit beside Steve.
"Doll, isn't that raw?" Steve wrinkled his nose as he looked at your meal.
"Yeah, it adds to the flavour." You nodded, cutting your meal into sections.
"Oh, I'm really gonna be sick." Clint groaned, squeezing his eyes shut.
"Which one of you did it?" Bruce called as he entered the kitchen with Thor right behind him.
"I didn't do it."
"It was just a joke."
"Not me."
"Did what?" Natasha rolled her eyes at the table's reactions before turning to Bruce with a fond smile.
"I got a medical alert from FRIDAY," Bruce said, cocking his head. "And when any of you are in the kitchen it's not safe."
"Yeah, that was from me," Tony said, raising a hand. "I got FRIDAY to get you. It's this one." He added, pointing at you.
"I'm not injured, Tony." You rolled your eyes, continuing with your meal.
"Physically, maybe not, but something is going on in your head if you think that's a normal meal," Tony said, cringing as you took another bite.
"Vee eats stuff like this all the time, and no one says anything." You scoffed.
"That's different."
"Yeah, Vee's not normal."
"Hey!"
"No offence, big guy." Clint was quick to reassure the symbiote. "But you're an alien. Your normal is still pretty strange to us." He said as Bruce moved towards you and placed his hand on your head.
"Do you feel sick? You don't feel warm." Bruce tsked.
"You know we can't get sick, Brucie." You said, pushing the scientist's hand off your face.
"We eat the germs." Venom grinned, running his tongue over his teeth.
"Why can't I just eat a meal and not be judged?" You sighed, stabbing at your delicious treat.
"Because that's your second brain of the day," Natasha pointed out to the room.
"Second?"
"I can feel my lunch coming up my throat."
"I've never seen you eat one brain before, let alone two."
"Many women experience a change in appetite when with child." Thor shrugged, sitting beside you. "It's perfectly normal." He added, licking a bit of chocolate sauce off your plate, ignoring the looks the rest of the room shot him.
"What?"
"Excuse me?"
"I'm not pregnant, Thor." You choked on the food in your mouth. "Oh, shit." You coughed, hitting your chest.
"I got it," Venom said, smacking you on the back.
"Okay, okay, thanks, Vee." You brushed his hand away. "Just because you can heal broken ribs, doesn't mean they don't hurt."
"Thor, we're all on some sort of contraceptive, or just can't have children," Natasha said, with Bruce nodding along. "What makes you think Y/N's pregnant?"
"I am the God of fertility." Thor shrugged. "I know these things. Just as I know that it was Steven and my sperm that created the lives of our children."
"Children? More than one?"
"God and super-soldier sperm. That should do it." Tony muttered.
"Vee?" You murmured, the symbiote extending himself towards your uterus.
"Oh. That's what that is." Venom said before retracting and wrapping himself around your womb.
"I know the situation isn't ideal, not being planned and all, but isn't this kind of what we've always talked about?" Steve wondered. "Having a family of our own?"
"I'm not mad about this. I might need some time to adjust, but," Clint shrugged. "I want this. I want to teach our children to shoot. I want them to have better than me or my brother ever did."
"You know I've always wanted children," Natasha admitted, scratching the table before her. "Even when they told me weapons don't deserve children, I wanted one."
"You're not a weapon, Tash."
"I mean, we've already adopted the spider kid and Barton's sidekick." Tony nodded, resting his hand on Natasha's lower back. "Our kids would grow up with older siblings."
"And we were just talking about the possibility of adopting." Bruce agreed.
"Y/N? How are you feeling about this?" Steve asked and all eyes turned towards you.
Your stomach felt heavy as your lunch began to make its way back up your throat. The taste of chocolate sauce and brain, which had tasted so good going down, did not have the same flavour coming back up.
"Bathroom." You muttered, rising to a stand and rushing towards the nearest bathroom.
You'd been in the bathroom for hours. Your partners had found you pretty quickly, FRIDAY being the snitch she was, and had been at the door ever since.
The knocking had stopped around hour two of you ignoring your soulmates, but someone was always at the door, talking to you through it.
As Steve talked you through his latest painting, you were curled up in the bathtub, the curtain hiding you from the empty room.
'How did we let this happen?' You shook your head, pressing your head into your knees. 'How didn't we notice sooner?'
'It didn't seem dangerous. I didn't see the danger.'
'I can't do this again, Vee. They don't even know. We never told them.'
'It never came up.' Venom comforted you, rubbing a tendril down your back. 'We may have to tell them.'
"They're gonna hate us." You whispered aloud, feeling a tear run down your cheek.
'I can eat them.' Venom offered, wiping your cheek.
'That's alright, Vee.' You shook your head as you rose to a stand. 'We can't keep this a secret anymore.'
'No.'
'Are you okay if I tell them?'
'He won't come back because we thought of him. We already knew that.'
"Steve?" You called, causing the soldier to fall silent.
"Yeah, doll?" You heard him stand outside.
"Can you get everyone to go to the bedroom?" You asked, wringing your hands in front of you.
"Of course, doll," Steve said before you heard him walk away.
"Are you ready, bud?" You asked, stepping out of the tub and moving towards the door.
"If you are," Venom said, shifting so his head rested on your shoulder.
Exiting the bathroom, you slowly made your way through the hall before entering the bedroom where your soulmates sat waiting for you.
"How are you feeling?" Natasha asked as you stood awkwardly in the doorway.
"Gross." You said, crossing your arms over your chest.
"Did you throw up?" Tony looked green.
"No." You huffed out a laugh at Tony's germaphobic nature.
"Y/N, we've been talking." Steve started, watching you with serious eyes. "And we shouldn't have started talking about the babies like that without checking you wanted this first."
"So, if you don't want this, Bruce found the names of some good doctors," Tony told you, with the other scientist nodding along.
"It is your body, draga." Natasha smiled at you gently. "And ultimately your choice."
"And there's more than a few adoption agencies in New York who are very discreet if that's the way you want to go," Bruce added.
"We're good with whatever you decide," Clint promised, Thor, nodding at his words.
"It's not that I don't want kids with you." You told your soulmates. "It's just, there's something we haven't told you."
"Whatever it is, we can work through it, together," Thor assured you.
"Well, to be honest, we've been telling everyone a bit of a fib for a very long time." You admitted.
"Okay, what kind of a fib are we talking about?"
"Do I need to call the lawyers?"
"Do you have another alien living in you?"
"Pretty big, no, and no." You answered your soulmates' questions. "We didn't actually leave San Francisco right after Drake. We thought maybe we could handle staying and that we could keep our lives there. So we helped Eddie with an interview with Cletus Kasady."
"The serial killer?" Clint raised a brow.
"Yeah. We got left alone with Kasady, and he got weird."
"Y/N?"
"We were under guard, but it was as if he'd researched us before we got there. He knew about my childhood, where I went to school, the name of my first boyfriend, creepy shit like that." You shivered, Kasady's voice still fresh in your mind. "I wanted to leave, but we got too close to the cage, and Kasady grabbed us. He bit us and tore a chunk of our neck out. The guard pulled us away, but it was too late. Kasady ingested a lot of our blood, and that's when it happened." You said, absent-mindedly rubbing the side of your neck.
"What happened?" Steve asked, leaning forward slightly.
"Kasady had our child." You sighed and the room fell into a stunned silence. "Guys?"
"I'm sorry?"
"What?"
"You said nothing like that happened."
"Also, how did that happen?"
"Nothing like that happened." You assured your concerned soulmates. "Venom's species reproduces asexually, and a host's gender doesn't matter. And when our blood mixed with Kasady's DNA,"
"He made Carnage," Venom spoke, lowering his head as he did.
"Where is he?" Tony wondered curiously.
"Carnage wasn't, Carnage didn't," You licked your lips, struggling to find the words. "Kasady ruined Carnage. His DNA, his insanity, and his blood lust ruined Carnage, and there was no other way."
"Carnage was a red one." Venom took over, running a tendril down your arm. "He tried to kill us. He killed people for fun, not food. Carnage had to be put down."
"We tried reasoning with Carnage, we begged, we tried to separate the two, but it didn't work. They weren't symbiotic like us. They were just tangled. We couldn't separate them." You shook your head.
"Oh, Y/N, Vee, why didn't we know?" Natasha asked, standing and pulling you into her arms.
"It was our condition to Fury. We'd meet the team if he kept it off the books." You mumbled into her shoulder.
"And Y/N thought you'd reject us if you knew," Venom added, wrapping around Natasha's waist.
"That's not going to happen." Thor was quick to deny it. The common Earth practice was akin to torture in the blonde's mind. He would never deny one of his chosen.
"It wouldn't have in the beginning, and it won't happen now," Clint agreed, rubbing the Gods' knee.
"So, you think these children will be the same?" Bruce questioned you as you and Natasha pulled apart. The spy wrapped her arm around your waist and pulled you towards the bed.
"I don't know. This didn't happen last time." You gestured to your stomach. "We didn't think it could happen."
"It feels strange," Venom spoke up, curling around your waist. "We feel the heartbeat but it's not ours. They think but it's not like us."
"We can feel it." You nodded. "Not just movement, but we can feel them sitting there, stretching themselves out." You said, placing your hand on your stomach.
"Not like our kind."
"Then maybe Venom's genes didn't pass on." Bruce hummed, causing you all to turn to him.
"What do you mean, Bruce?"
"Well, if Venom's species reproduce asexually, then perhaps he didn't pass his DNA onto the children," Bruce said, adjusting his glasses. "Or maybe God and super-soldier DNA is just stronger." He added with a shrug.
"We are strong." Venom huffed. "Do you want to put it to the test?" He challenged, turning to Steve and Thor.
"That's not necessary, Vee," Steve assured just as it looked like Thor was going to agree. "We know you're the strongest here." He said placatingly.
"Yes, we are."
"We want these babies." You said, glancing at your soulmates. "But we can't lose another one."
"Y/N,"
"Carnage was ours. We didn't know him, and we couldn't help him, but he was still ours. He was a part of Venom and when we killed him, we felt his pain. We felt the agony of not being able to merge with Kasady and everything we'd done to him. And we can't do that again." You shook your head. "We can't kill another part of us."
"It's not going to come to that," Tony promised you.
"And if Kasady is what turned Carnage, then if these two are like the two of you, they will be fine," Bruce said assuringly.
"You don't know that."
"Kasady was insane, clinically insane. He was a murderer, a sociopath, that's neither of you. And none of us." Bruce said firmly. "Nurture is just as important as nature."
"That's right." Tony nodded. "These kids are going to grow up with Avengers as their family, literal Gods too. They're gonna be just fine." He added, reaching over to take your hand.
"We're pregnant." You whispered, after a moment, the words loud in the quiet room.
"We're pregnant," Thor repeated as a smile crept onto your face.
"We're gonna have a family."
"We already do, doll. It's just getting a bit bigger is all."
And as you sat surrounded by your family, the weight of the twins in your womb and Venom settled protectively around them, you found thoughts of Kasady and Carnage being pushed to the back of your mind.
For now, everything was as it was supposed to be.
"Okay, Vee only two hours max, remember?" You fussed as the symbiote appeared by Clint's shoulder.
"We remember."
"Because you are not allowed to burn Clint out."
"We will not burn out the bird."
"Babe, we'll be chill." Clint smiled, brushing hair from your face. "Vee and I are buddies. Right, dude?"
"Right, bro."
"Please, never say that again." You sighed as Steve chuckled behind you.
You were just over three months pregnant and a combination of super-solder, God, alien DNA and the fact you were carrying twin, meant you were already showing a lot more than you were supposed to.
It was one thing to know you were pregnant, but to see your body physically changing to accommodate for the two had made it all the more real for you.
As well as your six soulmates.
They were already overprotective, despite Venom's assurances he could take care of the two of you, but when you became four instead of two, it kicked into another drive.
They had begged and pleaded with you for weeks to see reason and stop your patrols with Vee.
At first, you had gently brushed their concern off, but when you woke up one morning with a visible bump, you finally agreed to step back as an Avenger and swing with Vee.
But Venom got bored, and hungry, quickly.
It had been Thor's suggestion to find the symbiote a temporary host and when Clint turned out to be the most compatible after you, the hawkeyed Avenger had quickly agreed to take Venom out on the town.
"No promises," Venom smirked.
"Just breathe, go sit with Stevie and Tasha, eat your brain while I'm not here, and I'll close my eyes real tight while Vee gets his." Clint smiled before a frown quickly took over. "I can't throw up while he's in control, can I?"
"You know, there's a first time for everything." You sighed, pressing a kiss to Clint's cheek and then Venom's when he took over. "I'll see you soon, hon."
"You will," Venom promised, licking your cheek before he, and Clint, were gone.
"Don't think you're going to be staring out the window all night," Natasha said, causing you to look over your shoulder. "Because you picked out the movie and you won't be able to see it from there."
"Nat is right, doll. You need to sit." Steve said, jumping up and moving you towards the couch.
"We're, I'm not an invalid you know." You reminded the two as you settled between the two.
"We know."
"But stress isn't good for you, or the babies," Natasha said, resting her hand on your bump and her head on your shoulder.
"So for the next few hours, you're going to breathe, watch a movie with us, and enjoy your food," Steve added, grabbing your plate from the side table, with only a slight shudder.
"Clint will be fine, Med. He and Venom will look after each other."
"I hope so."
It was almost four hours later when Venom finally slipped back through the window, a smile on his face even as he reduced himself to a mere head on Clint's shoulder.
"I'm gonna kill the pair of you." You shook your head, struggling to sit upright. "What happened to two hours?"
"Sorry sweetheart, got a bit sidetracked there." Clint had the decency to look apologetic. "In my defence, you were right. The flying part is fun."
You let out a long sigh as you fondly shook your head.
"So what was it? Chickens or a bad guy tonight?"
"He had to make do with a few of my feathered friends." Clint joked. "But he'll survive another day."
"Did you at least have fun, bud?" You asked as your symbiote transferred back to you.
"Clint took me to a rave." Venom grinned as Clint groaned.
"What?"
"Barton,"
"That was supposed to be our secret dude." Clint shook his head. "Look before anyone freaks out it was a costume rave, everyone was really chill and thought Vee was just an elaborate costume."
"More like really high." Natasha glared at the archer.
"Clint, that was irresponsible and you know it," Steve started.
"Ooh is daddy mad? Are you going to put me across your lap?"
"Why are we having children again? There's two right here." You sighed, leaning back. "I need a nap."
"Bunsen burners down." You demanded, striding into the lab as you pulled your hair into a ponytail.
"Y/N, we're a bit busy," Bruce started even as Tony did as you said.
"Don't care. Burners down, pants off." You ordered, ripping your shirt off. "We're pregnant,"
"You're pregnant."
"We're horny."
"You're horny."
"And you two are going to fix it."
"That is true."
"Y/N,"
"Bruce we are six months pregnant with your children. We feel fat, we feel starving and we are horny." You said, narrowing your eyes at the man. "Is your experiment more important than your pregnant mate?"
"Of course not."
"Then take your pants off and join us and Tony on the couch before I start crying about how we can't just do it on the counter anymore." You demanded, grabbing Tony by the hand and dragging him to the couch.
"Yes, dear."
"Tony, why are you walking like that?" Clint snickered from his seat "Did you fall out of the elevator?"
"You're the only one who has ever done that, Clint," Thor spoke, patting Clint's shoulder.
"I'm pretty sure my pelvis is broken." Tony groaned, collapsing into a chair. "I need ice. Someone, please. Ice me."
"Your pelvis is not broken." You said, helping Bruce into his own chair.
"Thank you, love." Bruce sighed, weakly patting your hand. "But it all likely very well could be."
"Just what are you two up to in that lab?" Natasha tutted as she moved to the freezer.
"Might want to make that two orders of ice, Nat." You told her, sitting between the boys.
"Just science. Science stuff." Tony sighed, taking your hand in his. "Gotta test things to prove things, you know?"
"We had sex in the lab." Venom grinned as his head appeared on your shoulder. "A table broke."
"That, that tracks." Clint nodded, shooting a sympathetic look at the two scientists. "They got me in the training room a couple of days ago. Broke one of the balance beams."
"Movie room." Steve nodded. "Though I do want to talk logistics on the balance beam." He told Clint.
"I got them in the showers last night," Natasha smirked, dropping a bag of ice each on Bruce and Tony's laps.
"If we weren't already married, itsy bitsy." Tony sighed.
"Well the three of us thoroughly defiled the kitchen just this morning." Thor grinned.
"I knew that was jizz on the counter!"
"Hey!" You interrupted your partners with a couple snaps of your fingers. "You all got us pregnant you can all suffer the consequences. Consequences include high libido and extra high libido from the symbiote." You told the six.
"Not exactly a consequence." Tony chuckled before pressing a kiss to the back of your hand.
"Damn right."
"Get that out of here."
"You heard the symbiote. Can't come in here." You said from your spot on the floor.
"Vee, Coulson had this made for us. He's going to be upset if he doesn't see it in here." Natasha said, taking the onsie from Thor.
"Smells bad. Not going near spawns." Venom shook his head.
"What do you think of this, bud?" You held up the 'My godfather's the coolest' onesie from Rhodey.
"Smells good." Venom nodded, taking the outfit and putting it in one of the many overfilling drawers. "The colonel has good taste."
"Someone had to influence Tony."
"What if we have it washed? Would that appease you?" Natasha asked, holding up Coulson's gift.
"Maybe."
"I need help, please. Our hips are locking." You said, holding a hand up.
"Elsking, are you sure you are up to this today?" Thor asked as he helped you to your feet. "The twins are very close."
"That's why we have to do this." You reminded the God. "This will be the twin's room for a long time and they need to know their parents made this nest for them thinking only of their safety and comfort. Everything has to be just right."
"You take nesting far too literally." Natasha rolled her eyes as Thor pushed you to sit in a rocking chair. "The twins are hardly going to notice if the paint is chipping."
"Where?" Venom demanded, pulling you to your feet.
"Perhaps not the best joke, darling." Thor smiled at Natasha as he placed his hands on your shoulders. "My loves there is no chipped paint."
"Forgot who I was dealing with for a second." Natasha chuckled, patting the blonde on the arm. "The nest is fine. The twins will love it."
"I hope so." You sighed, still looking over each of the walls. "I just. I want them to know how loved they are. That we want them, even if they were a surprise."
"They will know. We will make them know each day they breathe." Thor swore, his large hand cupping your face.
"How about we go find a couple things of ours to add to here? Would that make the two of you happy?" Natasha asked.
"Yes."
"Very."
"Alright. Thor, keep them off the floor, please. I'll start raiding closets." Natasha said, kissing both you and the God before leaving the room.
"It is not just the twins you think of today, is it?" Thor asked softly, resting his hand on your cheek. "Carnage?"
"He wouldn't have been a baby, but he still would have been ours." You murmured, leaning into his hand.
"He would have been safe with us." Venom huffed.
"Safer than any other in the universe." Thor agreed, smiling at the symbiote. "Often I find myself wondering if I could have done more for Loki." He mentioned, the smile falling from his face.
"You love Loki. They know that." You assured your God.
"Aye, but if I had more care with my words, if I had been as mature as they, I wonder how our paths may have been altered." Thor nodded, his thumb drawing circles on your cheek.
"You may have never come to Earth." Venom pointed out. "We never would have met."
"My point. If we dwell on the past, on what we may have done, we will miss our future and may even sour our present." Thor spoke. "I wish more than anything Loki did not have to spend all those years feeling alone or unworthy, but we cannot change the past."
"We couldn't have fixed Carnage, we couldn't have saved him, we know that. And these babies are not him, but if the worse were to happen it would be our fault this time." You shook your head. "Nothing to do with psychopaths or failed symbiosis,"
"It would be us." Venom agreed. "We have to do the best from the beginning. We have to keep the spawn safe in our nest."
"And we will keep them safe," Thor promised. "Our children will be safe with us."
"I hope so."
"Now, you heard our widow, I am to keep you from the floor. How do you propose I achieve this?" Thor smiled, his hands sliding down to hold your substantial bump.
You let out a sound, a cross between a sigh and a groan, as your eyes rolled back in your head and your hands anchored themselves on Thor's shoulders.
"Take us to bed, feed us brains, and scroll through Pinterest with us?" You suggested and the God smiled.
"Of course, my loves."
"Don't forget the sprinkles."
"We're going to give birth today," Venom announced as the two of you stood in the doorway of the bathroom.
"What?"
"Oh shit! Get the emergency bag!"
"Doll, you need to be sitting down."
"Do you see what happens when we announce things like this?" You groaned at the symbiote. "Everyone calm down, our water hasn't broken yet." You held up your hands placatingly.
"Your water."
"Our water. If I'm pregnant then we're pregnant."
"We are pregnant. You are giving birth."
"You're not gonna just sit there silently watching. You're doing shit too."
"You're going to shit. Bruce told me."
"Do you two need a moment or can we take you two down to the med bay?" Natasha clicked her fingers, drawing your attention back to your confused and amused partners.
"I guess so. We've got everyone on standby just in case this turns into some Cuthulu shit?" You breathed heavily, holding onto your enlarged stomach.
"About twelve, doll," Steve said, wrapping his arm around your waist. "Clint, Tony, can you two grab the bags? Tash, you want to call ahead?"
"Already on it."
"Are we fully packed? Because I coulda swore the list wasn't all checked off."
"You got it, daddy."
"Clint!"
"Oh, I hate you! I hate you all!"
"You're real close, love."
"Why the fuck couldn't we just have a c-section?"
"That's my fault."
"It's all good, Vee, it's an alien thing. She knows."
"I don't know! I hate you all! Oh, fuck, I'm gonna die."
"Elskan, you will not die."
"Time to push, you two."
"Oh fuck!"
"Oh fuck!"
"They look like potatoes." You hummed, smiling as one of your daughters suckled at your breast.
"Don't say that. You're gonna give them a complex." Tony shook his head.
"They're an hour old. Give them another hour and they won't even remember I said that." Clint chuckled, trying to get the girl in his arms to burp.
"They most likely cannot understand a single thing we are saying," Bruce said, holding the baby in Clint's arms hand.
"They smell funny," Venom commented, tasting the air as if he were a snake.
"I wouldn't smell them too much big guy. You might smell something that's a bit more disgusting." Steve joked.
"Alright, I think this little girl is done." You announced as the girl in your arms popped off your boob.
"Ooo, gimmie." Natasha grinned, holding her hands out towards you.
"All yours, love." You smiled as Natasha began to murmur to the baby in Russian. "Vee, what are you doing?" You asked as the symbiote leaned closer to the baby.
"They smell strange."
"It's baby smell, Venom. All newborns have it." Thor explained, but the symbiote continued to sniff at the babies.
Venom's face gently rubbed against the newborn in Natasha's arms. The baby let out a snuffle as it shifted in Natasha's hold, leaning into Venom's touch before letting out a cry of discomfort.
"Don't worry sweetheart. Mama's got you." Natasha hummed, beginning to try to burp the baby.
With her sister crying, baby girl two wasn't far behind. Venom let out a whine at the loud noise, retreating back to your side.
"Scared of the babies, Vee?" Tony teased.
But before Venom could respond, the eight of you watched as the babies in Natasha and Clint's arms both seemingly flickered. Their still pink skin turned shades of purple and black disappearing as quickly as it had appeared.
"They're like us," Venom announced with pride. "We have strong DNA!" He boasted.
"They sure are, bud." You smiled, wrapping your arm around the symbiote.
"What does the purple mean?" Bruce wondered.
"Besides being awesome!" Clint grinned, kissing the baby in his arms cheek.
"They're strong," Venom responded simply. "We have made strong children."
"Well, what do you expect? With God, supersoldier, and symbiote DNA, we're gonna have a hard time finding a daycare." You sighed, leaning back in the bed, watching your soulmates, your symbiote and your children with a smile firmly on your face.
This was your family.

Hell's Belles
Lily x OC x Belth
A/N I have been obsessed with @see.ya.later's series on TikTok Hell's Belles and my need to write fanfiction called.
The signs were very clear on the way down to Hell.Â
Plastered on the walls, signs pointing down the stairs and to the last door of the hallway, Calla knew she had reached her destination.
Calla Shepard had been murdered. At twenty-three years old, Calla had had her life stolen from her by a cruel church and her parents, who had declared her unfit to make decisions for her own life.
Calla had left her parents' church days after she had moved out of her parent's home at sixteen. Both Calla's parents had made sure their daughter knew their opinions on what was right and wrong in the world, and for her to oppose them was to oppose God.
At sixteen, Calla had taken a small bag from her parent's home and ran, using the savings from her two years of working to rent a dingy apartment that was not up to code in the slightest.
It was then Calla was free to explore herself, her sexuality, and her religion. It was then Calla was able to discover things about herself she would never have allowed to in her parents' home.
Like the fact, she was bi and had enough love in her heart to share with more than one. Calla was also able to decide to leave her parents' God behind and discover she was better suited to following the pagan's path.
And for seven years, Calla was free.
Until her parents tracked her down. Being a broken child and desperate for her parent's love, Calla invited her parents back into her life.
However, when they saw the woman she had become, strong, beautiful, and comfortable in her skin, they lost it.Â
The two worked behind her back to have her declared unfit to take care of herself, and being a catholic town, many were quick to turn a blind eye when Calla's parents had her dragged from her apartment in the middle of the night, kicking and screaming.
For two months, Calla was locked in the basement of her childhood church. Beaten by overenthusiastic members of the parish, the fight was quick to fade as her body was starved.
Calla Shepard died in that basement. The last thing she heard was that Hell would be nicer than what the church had planned for her.
Calla's hand slightly trembled as she reached for the door handle that radiated a scorching heat.
'Do it, witch!'
The blonde flinched as she heard his voice in her head, and her fingers tightened around the doorknob.
Not wanting to hear his voice again, Calla twisted the door open, a wave of heat hitting her as she stood in the doorway.
The woman didn't hesitate to enter through the doorway, the door closing behind her with little more than a click as she stared at the realm before her.
Oranges and yellows lightened the otherwise darkened stone. A set of twisted iron gates stood taller than any building Calla had seen in her twenty-six years.
Continuing forward, Calla made it into one of many lines, slowly moving towards, what she assumed to be, a demon with a clipboard.
"Next." The demon called, sounding bored as he looked down at the clipboard he held in one hand.
"I'm supposed to be here," Calla spoke, the saliva catching in her throat as she stared up at the tall demon.
The demon looked up from his clipboard before looking down at Calla, his brows furrowing.
"Are you sure about that?" He questioned almost gently.
"Yes." The woman nodded, cracking her knuckles as she stared up at the giant man.
"Alright, um, why don't you head up to the Hellp Desk and ask for Lily?" The demon suggested, gesturing through the gates. "It's just through there. You can't miss it."
"Thank you." Calla nodded before stepping through the gates of Hell.
The Hellp Desk was set up barely a minute's walk away from the gates. Several desks sat next to each other, some had demons as well as what Calla assumed to be mortal souls attending them, as well as the angry souls before them, but one caught her eye.
The only desk without an arguing soul before them, and the one with the plaque 'Lily' on the front.
A redheaded woman sat behind the desk, her eyes closed a horned, grey-skinned demon rubbed at her shoulders.
"Um, hi?" Calla whispered as she stood before the desk.
"One sec." The woman said, holding up her finger as her eyes remained closed.
The demon at her side gave Calla an apologetic smile as he continued to massage the woman's shoulders.
"And you got the knot." The woman happily sighed as she opened her eyes. "You ever considered opening up a massage parlour?"
"And deprive you when you want one? I'd like to live." The demon snorted.
"Hm, fair point." The redhead shrugged before turning to face Calla. "Hi. Welcome to the Hellp Desk, I," She started, looking over the desk before frowning. "I don't have a file for you."
"I was told I had to come down here," Calla told the woman.Â
"There might have been a mix-up at the Front Deathk. This system hasn't been here for a year yet. Why don't you take a seat, and I'll try to sort this?" The redhead suggested as she picked up her phone.
Doing as she said, Calla took the offered seat and began to recrack her knuckles.
"While she tries to fix this, I'm Bel." The demon before her introduced himself. "And this is Lily. And you are?"
"Calla." The blonde nodded, ripping her hands apart before offering one to the demon.
Bel gave the blonde a smile, half at how nervous she was but also at the fact this mortal soul had willingly offered her hand to the grey-toned demon.
"Nice to meet you." Bel nodded, shaking the offered hand as Lily hung up the phone.
"So, according to this," Lily said, tapping the file that had suddenly appeared in her hand. "You are not supposed to be here."
"No, I have to be down here." Calla insisted. "I can't go back up there."
"I don't know what's happening," Bel muttered, taking the file from Lily's hands. "Oh." He breathed after reading what was before him.
"I know you've only just died, and I also know you ran from the Front Deathk and orientation, but you're dead. And those who hurt you in life cannot hurt you here." Lily said, holding her hands out towards Calla.
"But, he said this is where I have to be." Calla shook her head.
"That Pastor has no power down here," Lily told the woman.
"And when he does expire, he's got a place on level nine waiting for him," Bel added. "Remind me to call Greg." He said, putting the file down.
"According to this file, you were a good person," Lily said. "There is no judgement system in this universe that would say otherwise. You have a paradise waiting for you because of the person you were in life."
"I don't deserve it." Calla shook her head. "I brought everything that happened to me onto myself. I don't deserve a paradise."
"Oh, honey." Lily sighed, her shoulders sagging. "I don't know what I'm supposed to do here." She said, turning towards Bel. "I can't just put her on a level. I want you to heal, Calla, but I understand it's something we have to do on our own time."Â
"You said you wanted a trainee, right?" Bel asked. "Maybe working at the Hellp Desk would help you see you don't deserve being down here." He suggested, turning to Calla.
"That. That is brilliant." Lily sighed, leaning up to kiss the demon, causing his cheeks to turn purple. "Would you like that? Would you like a job?" She turned to Calla. "You don't have to say yes, but I agree with Bel. This could be good for you, plus your file says you worked in customer service."
"Yeah?"
"You still got some anger in your system from that?" Lily raised a brow.
"Oh, yeah." Calla shook her head. The only jobs she could work in the seven-year separation from her parents had been minimum wage ones, and each had been worse than the last.
"Perfect. You're gonna love this place." Lily said, standing up and holding her hand out to the blonde. "Bel, go play with your trainees. I'm gonna take mine around the office."
"Have fun, baby." Bel shook his head before shooting Calla a wink. "If she gets too much, just give me a call. Sometimes you need backup with this one." He joked.
"How dare you?"
As the two argued before her, Calla found a small smile crawling its way onto her face. The playful arguing, the banter, reminded her of a happier time with the friends she'd had topside.
Maybe she really did need to be down here.
Six months later.
"No, you don't get to argue with me."
"You interrupted my book. They were about to do it on the couch, and you interrupted. I have a knife and endless time." Lily deadpanned, staring at the woman before with disgust. "Now you can choose how you leave this room. Either, you can walk to your level, or I can take you down there. Piece. By. Piece." She said, waving her large dagger around.
"Fine. But, just know, I will be speaking to someone about this." The soul scoffed before turning towards the stairs, narrowly avoiding bumping into Calla who was standing in the doorway.
"Hi, Calla." Lily smiled, placing her dagger and book down on her desk.
"Hi, Lily," Calla smirked, moving forward, holding the tray of coffee high as the redhead gasped happily.
"Is that what I think it is?" Lily grinned, making grabby hands at the blonde. "Gimmie."
"You sound like you've had a fun morning already." Calla shook her head as she took her seat beside the woman.
"Don't even get me started." Lily groaned. "No one seems to understand that they're here for a reason, and we all know it, but they still lie."
"I can't even give you an answer for that, Lils."
In the six months Calla had been dead, the blonde woman had changed in many ways.Â
No longer was Calla scared of her own shadow or the enemies of her past. Calla felt like the person she had been before her death.
It had taken working at the Hellp Desk with Lily, being introduced to Bel's friends, and meeting several of the deities she had prayed to in life to remember who she had been.
And while her death, and the events that led up to it, were not forgotten, Calla had found a way to move past them. Though that had come, in large part, from the help Lily and Bel were willing to give her.
The two had quickly become her friends, the two forcing Calla to join other souls and demons for game nights, trivia and movies. Lily and Bel had forced her to become a person again, and she couldn't be more thankful, even if at the time she hated the idea.
"How are my two favourite girls doing?" Bel asked as he strolled up the stairs. "Did you get coffee without me?" He gasped, holding his hand to his heart. "Betrayal."
"I'm sorry, did you not get cake pops without us yesterday?" Lily asked as the demon sat beside her.
"That was completely different," Bel said, taking the coffee from Calla's hand and taking a sip. "Oh, that's nice. Sweet."
"I will stab you if you drink all of my coffee again, Fruitbat." Calla deadpanned, causing Lily to smirk as Bel paled slightly.
"Who gave you a knife?" Bel asked, handing the coffee back to the blonde. "You're tiny. Tiny people shouldn't have sharp things."Â
"Oh, well, you're going to hate what I gave to Sharkie." Calla smiled. "Also, I'm 5'7, and Hecate gave me the knife. She says every witch should have one."
"That's true. However, what did you give Sharkie?" Lily asked, giving Calla a nervous look that Bel shared.
"Greg and I gave them a mace." Calla shrugged.
"Why would you do that?"
"Why would Greg do that?"
"Well, they kept stealing Greg's, so Greg got me to ask them why, and they said they were getting ready to start helping out down here," Calla told the two. "So, we just got them their own."
"Remind me to put a notice out." Bel sighed, leaning back in his chair. "We're gonna get so many calls about this."
"Personally, I'm all for blaming Greg." Lily volunteered. "He did kill me in Among Us last night."
"I told you he was the imposter, and did you believe me?"
"In my defence,"
As the two began to debate who was in the right and who wasn't, Calla's mind began to drift slightly as she came to an incredible discovery.
Calla was happy.
Here, at this moment, watching her friends mock each other, she was happy, but it was also more than that.
Calla wasn't just happy at this moment. She'd been happy for weeks.Â
And she didn't feel guilty about it.
"Guys?" Calla spoke, both demon and soul turning to face her.
"Hm?"
"Yeah?"
"I think. I think I'm ready." She said, giving the two a nervous smile. "I think I'm ready to go to my paradise." Calla elaborated, causing both Bel and Lily to smile at her.
"That's great." Lily gushed, putting her coffee down on the desk as she took Calla's hand and gave it a squeeze.
"It really is. Did you want to go now?" Bel asked the woman.
"I was hoping the two of you could come with me," Calla admitted, chewing on her lip as she looked between the two. "You don't have to, but I just really would like you guys to be there."
"You didn't even have to ask."
"Of course, we'll come.
The two spoke together as they stood in unison.
Calla ended up standing between the couple as they all stood in the elevator. Lily's arm was wrapped around the blonde's waist while Bel held onto Calla's hand despite how hard she squeezed it as her nerves became greater.
When the elevator opened, Calla was greeted by the sight of millions of doors, all different colours and different shapes, and Calla had no idea where to start.
"How, how do I know which one's mine?" Calla asked, trying to see the end of the level.
But there was no end in sight.
"Just follow your heart. It'll lead you there." Lily said, letting go of Calla's waist as Bel squeezed her hand once before also letting the blonde go.
"I kinda thought the whole being dead thing meant my heart didn't work anymore." Calla tried to joke.
"You know what, I mean."Â
Calla fiddled with the hem of her shirt as she looked between the two.
Bel gave Calla an encouraging smile and nodded towards the doors as Lily gave her a thumbs up.
Taking a deep breath, Calla stepped towards the doors, all labelled but none that called to her.Â
Calla walked through the rows of doors, some brightly coloured, others covered in cartoon-styled pictures, but none held her name or felt like the right one.
Until she came to a green one covered in ivy. Every muscle in her body froze as she stood before the door, and her hand was itching to reach for the handle.Â
Looking back over her shoulder, Calla saw both Lily and Bel standing behind her gesturing for her to go ahead and open the door.
Calla gave the two a nod before reaching for the brass handle. The metal was warm beneath her hand but Calla didn't think long about it as she pushed open the door.
It was like the TARDIS, so much bigger on the inside than Calla would have thought.
For as far as she could see, Calla was surrounded by woods. Tall, strong, green trees created canopies of shade above the small wooden cottage down the dirt path.Â
As Calla walked towards the ivy-covered cottage, the blonde could hear the sounds of animals and a stream nearby. The blonde stopped before the house as she let out a gasp.
Two unicorns appeared from around the back of the house, letting out happy whinnies.
"Calla? How does it feel?" Lily asked, causing the blonde to turn to her with tears in her eyes.
"This feels right." Calla smiled. "I think, I think I deserve this."
"You do. You deserve this." Bel told the blonde with a smile. "Also, can I pet the unicorns? I haven't seen one in decades." He said, causing Lily to hit his side as Calla laughed.
"Come on." Calla held out both hands to the two.
"And you, my good piece of shit, can escort thyself down to level six," Calla said, playing with the dagger on her desk.
"But I don't want to go to level six." The soul complained, stomping their foot.
"So here are your options, you can walk yourself and maintain whatever dignity you think you have, or I can drag you down by the balls." Calla smiled, causing the soul to pale before scampering away.
"How you can say all that while looking like a woodland fairy, I'll never understand," Ruggy said as Calla rose to a stand, her back cracking as she did so.
"It's a gift." Calla grinned. "I'm gonna get a coffee. Does anyone want anything?" She asked the room.
"I'm good," Ruggy said.
"Can I have a hot chocolate, mama?" Sharkie looked up from the bat she was cleaning.
"Of course, baby." Calla nodded. "Penny? Judy?"
"I'll take a coffee." Penny yawned.
"I'd love a tea if you could, baby," Judy said, and Calla smiled at the woman who'd become her mother.
"Of course, Judy. And Penny, I'll get you the biggest size I can." Calla promised as she moved to stand at Lily's desk. "Do I even need to ask the question?"
"No, you do not," Lily said, putting her book down. "Oh, listen, Bel wants to play chef tonight, and I'm banned from the kitchen, so did you want to come over and play sous chef?"
"To keep your house from burning down? Yes, I will." Calla nodded. "What's on the menu tonight?"
"Bel got some of those steaks that you like, the ones with the rosemary, so he wants to make fettuccine with it."
"Oh, you two spoil me." Calla happily sighed. "You know, I made bread last night. How about I bring that over?" She asked.
"Now, who's spoiling who?" Lily asked with a smirk.
"I'll pick it up after work," Calla told the redhead. "Coffee?"
"Yes, please."
"Cool, I'm going to pick up one for Bel and Greg, so I'll be a little," Calla said before walking into the elevator.
"So," Ruggy started, sliding up beside Lily. "That sounded like a date."
"It's not a date." Lily denied her face turning as red as her hair.
"Lily, c'mon, unlike Calla, we are not oblivious to the massive crush you and Bel have on her," Ruggy said, Penny, nodding at her words.
"Yeah, mom, you and dad are not subtle," Sharkie told the woman.
"The whole of the afterlife knows, Lily, and we do have our bets," Judy added.
"Okay, I know that we're not subtle, but we don't want to push her." Lily sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I mean, none of you were here when Calla got her, and she's healed so much, but she needed us as friends when she got here, and we don't want to ruin that."
"Lily," Penny reached over to take the redhead's hands. "Breathe."
"I mean, breathing's really not necessary down here, but yeah, you look like you're gonna pass out mom," Sharkie said.
"Now, Lily, I am going to break a confidence, but I think this will comforting for you and Bel," Judy said, dragging her chair closer to Lily's. "That girl is mad about the two of you. Somehow she can add either of you to any conversation, and the two of you always bring a smile to her face. She is in love with you, but Calla has said she is content to love you from afar and be your friend rather than 'ruin' your relationship as she's put it."
"She wouldn't ruin anything." Lily shook her head.Â
"We know that. You and Bel know that, and as far as we're concerned, the three of you have been a threesome longer than any of us have been here." Judy said, the rest of their made family nodding along.
"Judy's right," Penny spoke up. "You told me once not to be afraid of going after what I want. So, what's stopping you and Bel?"
"You're right." Lily sighed. "You know what, I'm gonna talk to Bel before dinner tonight." She said, causing the women around her to grin.
"There has been a grave mistake." A voice said, ruining the moment.
"Seriously? Every time." Sharkie groaned, turning to look at the one brave enough to disrupt them.Â
"I have been sent to the wrong place." The man dressed as a pastor stated.
"Is there a script that these guys are given that I'm not aware of?" Ruggy asked, turning to Judy.
"No, baby, they just all believe the same thing." Judy rolled her eyes.
"According to your file, oh, oh, shit." Penny started, her eyes growing wide as she read the words before her. "Oh, you're fucked." She said, handing the file to Lily.
Lily's brow creased as she read through the list of offences that were each worse than the last.
And then she saw it.
"You murdered five women," Lily spoke carefully.
"Call Bel," Ruggy whispered to Penny, but the brunette was already way ahead of her.
"I did no such thing-"
"You murdered Calla," Lily said, and the room seemingly got warmer as she glared at the pastor.
"Who?" The pastor asked.
"Oh, poor choice of words."
"Mother fucker."
"Let me just put my glasses down."
"You murdered Calla, had her beaten and starved, and you dare to not remember her name," Lily said as she continued to read. "And you did what to her body?" Lily looked disgusted.
"I was doing the lord's work." The soul said. "I was trying to get one of his soul's to return to his herd."
"I'm going to enjoy this," Lily said, grabbing the sword from beside her desk.
"Okay, hot chocolate for Sharkie, tea for Judy, the largest coffee I could find for Penny, and the usual for you, Lily darling," Calla spoke, everyone turning to face the blonde as she skipped into the room.
"Demon whore!" The pastor snarled, causing Calla to freeze.
"You." The woman whispered, the tray of coffee falling from her hands and staining her skirt.
"How could you? I did everything to save your soul, and you end up down here." The pastor snapped.
"Hi, Lord, can you send those accurate angels of yours down here?" Judy asked as Lily made her way over to Calla, pulling the blonde into her arms. "Oh, all of heaven's on their way? Great, I'll add you to the list.
"You're okay," Lily whispered to the blonde, who'd begun to shake. "You're okay."
"You whore! We worked to corral those urges of yours, and you dare defy the church?"
"You worked with me?" Calla breathed, pulling out of Lily's embrace. "You kidnapped me. You beat me, starved me, locked me in that basement until I couldn't breathe anymore."
"I was trying to save your soul. But you still ended up down here."Â
"No, I didn't." Calla shook her head. "I got into paradise, and you ended up in Hell. I choose to be here, and you don't have a choice about where you're going."
"How dare you speak to me like that?"
"I dare because I got the option to heal. To find people like me in paradise and throughout all the afterlife's." Calla told him. "You don't get to hurt me anymore. You can't hurt anyone anymore."
"I was trying to save you and all those other girls. I tried to save you." The pastor persisted.
"There were others?" Calla gave the man a disgusted look before she reached for the file Lily had left on her desk.
"Calla, you don't need to read that." Lily tried to warn the blonde, but it was too late.
"You were a necrophile." Calla breathed. "You raped your victims when they were dead."
"No, no. I did no such thing."
"Don't fucking lie to me!"
"You were too much of a disgust for me to even try. I couldn't rise to the occasion." The pastor said as if that made anything better.
"Oh, God." Calla was quick to snatch Lily's trash can as her breakfast made a reappearance.
"Let it out, honey," Lily said, gathering Calla's hair in her hands as she glared at the pastor. "Who wants to start with this piece of shit?" Lily asked.
"I'd say you're going to have a tough time deciding on that one," Bel spoke, surrounded by all those who had come in support.
The legions of Hell, the entirety of heaven, deities, and everyone who had had even a minute's interaction with the blonde were here.
"No, I claimed first go," Judy spoke, rolling up her sleeves. "The rest of you can sort it out between yourselves, but I am first. I'll show him what happens when someone messes with my baby."
"Hey, you done?" Bel kneeled beside the women as Calla raised her head.
"I think so." Calla nodded, wiping her chin. "I don't want to stay." She said, closing her eyes as the pastor began to scream.
"And you don't have to," Bel promised.
"C'mon, you're coming home with us," Lily said, sharing a look with Bel.
"I can go home. You two can stay if you want." Calla tried to argue.
"You're more important than this piece of shit." Bel shook his head.
"There will be plenty of other opportunities for him to be afraid of us," Lily added.
Quietly the trio snuck out of the lobby and into the elevator, falling into a very familiar position. Calla was stood between the demon and redhead, Lily with her arm wrapped around the blonde's waist with Bel's arm slung over Calla's shoulders.
The three went to Lily's paradise, Hobbition being the place the three felt most comfortable.
As the three entered Lily's home, Max was quick to greet them, weaving his way between their legs.
"You want a coffee?" Lily asked as Calla and Bel sat on the couch.
"You got anything stronger?" Calla wondered, causing both Lily and Bel to smile at her.Â
"I have a bottle of your favourite waiting for you," Lily said, moving into the kitchen.
"Are you okay?" Bel asked, pulling the blonde into his side. "And you can give me the real answer, not the one you'd give to anyone else."
"No. I'm not okay." Calla answered honestly. "I really didn't want to be working when he came through and to find out what he did to those other women and what he wanted to do to me. It's disgusting."
"I know, and I know this won't heal everything he's done, but he is getting his punishment. Every afterlife has shut down to get a piece of him." Bel promised.Â
"It doesn't fix everything, but it helps," Calla admitted, giving the demon a small smile. "But it doesn't make sense."
"What doesn't?" Bel cocked his head.
"Why would they all do that for me? There's going to be so much backlog. Why would they do that to themselves?"
"Because they love you," Lily said, coming back into the room with a bottle of whiskey and three cups. "You have made friends with everyone you've come across, and they love you for it."
"I don't know about that."
"What do you mean? I mean, look how quickly you became friends with us." Bel said, knocking Calla's shoulder with his.
"That's different." Calla shook her head, taking the offered glass from Lily.
"How?"
"Well, it is." Calla shrugged. "It's you two."
"We're not any different to anyone else," Lily said, sitting on the coffee table.
"That's a lie." The blonde snorted. "There is no one like the two of you. And no one comes close to either of you." She muttered, but Lily and Bel heard it.
The demon and the woman shared a long look before nodding at once.Â
It was time.
"You know, it's the same for us. There isn't anyone else like you for us." Bel said, his wing extending around Calla's shoulders.
"You're our best friend," Lily said, placing her hand on Calla's knee. The blonde gave a shaky smile, quickly downing her drink.
"But it could be more." Lily continued, taking the glass out of Calla's hands as the blonde's brow furrowed.
"What does that mean?" Calla cocked her head. "There's not a lot more we could be. Is there?"Â
"Well, you could be ours," Bel said, causing the blonde to freeze.
"What?"
"You could be ours. Our girlfriend. Our third." Lily elaborated, looking more nervous than Calla had ever seen her.
"Unless you don't want to." Bel was quick to say. "We can stay friends, and nothing will change if you don't want it to."
"But you're so happy together," Calla said, looking between the two.
"We are, and we're not trying to add you into our relationship to 'fix' anything if that's what you're worried about," Bel reassured the blonde, Lily smiling as he spoke.Â
"We have been in love with you for, well years now," Lily said. "The only reason we didn't say anything was that we didn't want to rush you into something you weren't ready for, and, well, we've been scared you'd say no."
"You think I would've said no," Calla said slowly. "You two, who made me smile again, not feel afraid, you two thought I would've said no despite the fact you're both the first reason I refused to reincarnate?" She asked, causing the two to smile at her.
"Really?"
"Really. I didn't want to leave you two." Calla said. "I've loved you since, I don't know how long, but it's been a long time."
"So," Lily started, moving to sit on the other side of Calla on the couch. "Is this okay?" She asked, cupping the blonde's cheek.
"Yeah," Calla whispered, leaning into the touch.
"And this?" Lily wondered, moving closer.
"More than fine."
"And what about this?" Lily asked before attaching her lips to Callas.
Calla hummed as Lily pressed her into Bel's chest, the demon trailing his claws gently up the blonde's arm, who hummed happily.
Lily's lips were soft and tasted of coffee, Calla noted as she became bolder, her hands grasping onto Lily's shoulders as if they were a lifeline.
Lily's tongue darted out, brushing against Calla's lips, causing the blonde to let out a surprised squeak as Lily pulled away, a Cheshire grin on her face.
"I was right, baby." Lily looked at Bel. "She tastes just like sugar."
"Does that need a second opinion?" Bel asked, tilting Calla's head back.
"I think it might," Lily said, causing Bel to grin.
"Good," Bel said before he slotted his lips against Callas.
Bel kissed with much more fervour than Lily did, his lips pressing so harshly against hers Calla knew they'd be bruised by the end of the night.
His arms wrapped around Callas shoulders, tugging her closer as Lily moved into the blondes back.Â
Lily's lips attached themselves to Callas neck, eliciting a groan from the blonde and a smirk from the demon.
"Jut like sugar." Bel murmured as he pulled away.
"Told ya." Lily smirked, nuzzling the other woman's neck.
"I think the only question is weather those are the only lips that taste like sugar." Bel said, looking down with hungry black eyes.
"What do you say, hon?" Lily breathed into Calla's ear, sending a shiver down her spine. "Is this moving too fast?"
"If you don't hurry up and do something, I'm take care of things myself." The blonde said, looking between the two.
"Well, you heard the lady." Bel said, lifting both women into his arms at once before moving them towards the bedroom.
What have I got myself into? Calla asked herself despite the small on her face.
Well, she was about to find out.

Supposed to be a one night thing

Sleeping with two men after sharing a couple of dances and drinks with them was not your best moment.
Especially since you three started before you even left the club.
The next morning you had snuck out of the hotel room they'd brought you to before either man had a chance to wake up.
You thought that was it. One night, two months ago.
Except now, sitting on your bathroom floor, you realised that hadn't been it.
"God, fucking damn it." You swore, staring at the positive pregnancy test in your hands.
"Y/N, you good in there?" Wanda called from the other side of the doorway.
"No, I'm dead." You called back sarcastically, still staring at the stick.
"Don't take that tone with me, miss missy," Wanda said as she opened the door. "It's positive, isn't it?" She asked, closing the door behind her.
"I thought there was protection." You whispered as Wanda came and sat beside you. "I could've sworn there were condoms, and I'm on the pill! For Christ's sake!" You cried, throwing the stick across the room.
"The pill doesn't always work, and you said you were all really drunk, didn't you?" Wanda questioned you as her arm wound around your shoulders.
"We were." You nodded, curling into Wanda's side.
"Well, there you go. It doesn't take a genius to make a baby." Wanda tried to joke.
"No, it just takes so many shots of vodka." You groaned.
"Is it too soon to ask you what you want to do?" Wanda wondered.
"I don't know what I want to do yet." You said with a sigh. "I don't even know who those men or which is the father." You said, hiding your face in your hands. "God, I'm a slut."
"Oh, please, those two are the first men you've slept with in two years. You're hardly a slut." Wanda told you.
"I'm barely twenty-four, Wands. I don't know if I can be a mom." You said, looking at your friend.
"You have pretty much adopted those four kids that work for you. You're the most mothery person I know, and that's including other mothers." Wanda said.
"If I did keep it, I have nana's bakery, so it's not like I'm strapped for cash." You hummed. "I might have to find somewhere else to live."
"We have the spare room, hon. Granted, it's a little small, but it'll be fine for now for bubs." Wanda said. "Oh, I have to make a nursery Pinterest board now! When do we know if it's a girl or a boy? Or should we go something between like purple?" She questioned you.
"You'd still want to live with me? With a baby that'll spend half its first year screaming?" You rose a brow at the woman.
"It's not like my insomnia lets me sleep anyway." Wanda shrugged. "Hey, look at me. You are my best friend, the sister I wanted but didn't get. Of course, I wasn't going to kick you out when you're pregnant." She promised you.
"Have I ever told you I love you?" You asked the woman.Â
"Not lately." She smiled.
"I love you, Wands."
"I love you too, Y/N. We'll figure this out. I promise."
Two Months Later
"I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!" Wanda cheered as she exited the doctor's office first.
"It was a fifty-fifty chance, Wanda." You rolled your eyes with a smile.
"But still, I was right!" She grinned, looping her arm around you. "And I think we should get ice cream for my little detkas."
"Not for you or me? Just for what's in my womb?" You rose a brow at the woman.
"I mean, we're going to get some too, but this way, we can pretend we're being healthy," Wanda said as the two of you rounded a corner.
But before the two of you could continue on your way, two black SUVs stopped in front of you.
"Should we run?" You asked, eyes darting to Wanda in fear.
"Too late." She nodded to another SUV behind you both.
"Ladies." A blonde man called as he exited one SUV, three other men right behind him. "We're going to need you to come with us."
"Yeah, we didn't ask for a ride, but thanks anyway." You said, causing a dark-skinned man to laugh.
"That's cute, honey, but the bosses want to see you." He chuckled.Â
"You wouldn't want to start something that might hurt the baby in your belly, would you?" A man with long black hair wondered, causing another to smack him in the back of the head.
"Nothing will happen to any of you three if you just get in the car." The blonde man spoke again.
"I don't think we have much of a choice here, Y/N," Wanda whispered to you.
"No, I don't think we do." You sighed before the two of you began walking towards the men.
As the two of you got closer, the blonde man took hold of your forearm and pulled you into one car while another took Wanda and began dragging her towards the other.
"Wait, where are you taking her?" You demanded, watching as Wanda was bundled into the back of the other car.Â
"Don't worry about her. She's going to be just fine as long as you cooperate." The man said as you were pushed into the car.
"How did no one react to two people being kidnapped in broad daylight?" You muttered to yourself.
"People see what we tell them to see." The dark-skinned man said as the car began to drive.
Too scared to anger your kidnappers, you kept silent in the back seat, your arms wrapped around your belly.
The windows were tinted so darkly that you couldn't tell where the men had driven you or how long it had been since you got into the car.
But all too soon, the car stopped.
"C'mon, little lady." The blonde said, opening your door and trying to take your arm.
Wrenching yourself out of his grasp, you stepped to the side before glaring at him.
"Put your hand on me, and it'll be the last thing it ever touches." You snapped, causing the darker man to laugh loudly as the blonde had the intelligence to look scared.
"Oh, I'm gonna like having you around." The man said, holding his hand out to you. "Sam."
"I'm not taking your hand." You said, wrapping your arms around your stomach.
"Fair enough." He nodded, letting his hand fall to his side. "This way." He gestured for you to follow him, the blonde man behind you.
You were certain you were going to die.Â
That you, your babies, and Wanda, too, would all be dead by the end of the hour.
And your fears weren't lessened as Sam led you through what looked like an office building and bundled you into an elevator before pressing the top floor button.
"In you go, sweetheart," Sam said once the doors opened.
If you were going to die, there was no point in delaying the inevitable.
Steeling your shoulders, you walked out of the elevator into what appeared to be a large office.
You felt sorry for whoever was going to have to clean your blood out of these carpets.
"Y/N L/N." A man from behind the desk stated, causing you to freeze.
"I think she's surprised to see us, Buck." The other man chuckled.
"Of course, she is. I bet you never thought you'd see us again, huh, sweet thing?" Bucky questioned you, resting his elbows on the desk in front.
"Well, that is why I left before you two woke up." You sighed, walking closer to the two.
"You didn't think you could hide our baby from us, did you?" Steve cocked his head.
"Well, I didn't know who you were or have a phone number, and there's not exactly a message board for anonymous motel sex, is there?" You snarked, taking the seat opposite them.Â
"You don't know who we are?"Â
"Besides intimate details, no." You said, causing the two to share a look you couldn't discern. "What I do want to know is why the hell you had me and my friend kidnapped in broad daylight?"
"You're carrying our child, Y/N," Steve said as if that were all the explanation you needed.
"Which I still don't know how you found out about." You raised a brow.
"Our friend's wife works at your doctor's office. He recognised you." Bucky shrugged.Â
"Okay, enough with the half-assed answers." You snapped.
"You might want to be careful what you say to us, kitten," Steve said warningly.
"I remember you liked my mouth. Or was it just what went in it and not out?" You narrowed your eyes at the blonde as Bucky laughed loudly.
"She's got fire, Stevie."
"Look, we can all agree that this," You gestured to your rounded stomach. "Is not what any of us planned. So, why don't you two go back to not knowing?" You suggested.
"Not knowing?"
"Yeah, me and my friend, who better still be in one piece, go back home, and you two can stay here and do whatever the hell it is you do." You explained. "You won't hear from any of us again."
"And what would you say if we offered you a million dollars to have this baby, give it to us, and you go on with your life?" Bucky offered.
"You could offer me the moon, and I'd turn it down." You shook your head.
"That's our baby, kitten." Steve reminded you.Â
"It wouldn't be your baby if I filed for a restraining order, would it?" You asked, trying to sound threatening, only for the two to laugh.
"There isn't a judge in this city who isn't in our pocket, sweet thing," Bucky mentioned.
"How about we come to the obvious solution?" Steve asked, causing you to cock your head at him. "Co-parenting."
"There'd be rules." You crossed your arms across your chest.
"On both ends." Bucky nodded.Â
"And conditions." You added. "Starting with my friend walking out of here without a scratch on her."
"Done." Steve nodded. "One of ours is you, and the baby would have to live with us."
"Excuse me?" You scoffed.
"We have a lot of enemies, sweet thing. It'd be safer for both of you." Bucky mentioned.
"Who the hell are you two?" You snapped, tired of the two's vague words.
"Sweetheart, we're the head of the Avengers mob."
"How the fuck did you not know you were sleeping with two mob bosses?" Wanda demanded as she entered the room Steve and Bucky had given you.
Apparently, the building Sam and the man you'd come to know as Clint had brought you to had many uses.
The lower floors were one of Steve and Bucky's many businesses, this one legal, and the top floors were home to them and theirs.
That now included you.
"I don't pay attention to who people are, Wanda! I don't know who the fucking President is!" You groaned, holding your head in your hands.
"After we fix this, you're not leaving my sight. Next thing I know, you'll be inviting a terrorist to dinner." Wanda sighed, sinking to sit beside you. "Did they hurt you?"
"No." You shook your head. "I don't think they will."
"They kidnapped us." Wanda reminded you.
"They could done a lot worse." You sighed. "Steve and Bucky said they'd call you a car when you're ready to go."
"Like hell, I'm leaving you here." Wanda scoffed. "You can tell them they can either set me up a bedroom next to yours, or we're sharing a bed."
"Wanda, it'd be safer for you back at the apartment." You told her.
"Y/N, after my parents, and Piet, you and these detkas are all the family I have left. I'm not going anywhere." Wanda promised, taking your hand.
"Alright. I'll let them know."
"My friend gets to stay."
"Deal."
"And you keep all your mob dealings away from us."
"We can do that."
"But we need you to stay here for your own safety."
"I have a business to run."
"We have an intern who can take over for you."
"I'd need to meet him."
"We can arrange for that."
"We're also going to need to keep the baby a secret. We've got a lot of enemies."
"I understand." You nodded. "But you should know, it's babies."
Three months pregnant
Steve and Bucky had been quite accommodating in the month you'd been forcibly moved into their home.Â
The two had given Wanda a room next to yours, though she ended up staying in your bed most nights.
"Someone's got to watch over you."
They brought in their own doctor, who was on hand 24/7 and even found a prenatal expert they trusted.
And strangely enough, for two one-night stands, the two were very interested in you and the babies in your belly.
"And bon appetite!" Steve grinned, placing a plate in front of you.Â
"You know you don't have to cook for us, right? There's a kitchen in my rooms." You reminded him as Bucky took a seat to your left.
"Bruce says you should stay off your feet. He says there's an increased risk of miscarrying with multiples." He said, pinching a piece of bacon off your plate.Â
"Hey! Don't touch our bacon!" You gasped, moving your plate out of his reach.
"Buck, you have your own plate." Steve sighed, nodding to the one in front of the brunette.Â
"Aw, but Stevie, stolen bacon always tastes better," Bucky whined, causing the blonde to shake his head.
"How you two run a mob, I have no idea." You shook your head.Â
"That's easy," Bucky said, shoving bacon into his mouth. "No one gets to see this side of us."
"No one?" You raised a brow. "Not even Sam, who I saw here two days ago walking around in his underwear?"Â
"To be fair, he was shot in the leg," Steve smirked. "Makes it harder to wear pants."
"What Steve meant to say is that very few get to see this side of us. Our family basically." Bucky told you.
"Well, I get to see this side of you. And I'm not family." You reminded the man.
"Sweetheart, you are carrying our children. You are more family than you think."
Five months pregnant
"Y/N, are you alright?" Steve asked as you stormed into the living room with Clint on your tail.
"Just fine, no thanks to your little bodyguard." You snapped, moving into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water.
"What did you do?" You overheard Bucky ask Clint.
"I did what you asked me. I took her into town like she wanted, and kept close."
"And ruined my date." You said, reentering the living room. "You just had to talk to the guy, didn't you?"
"Alright, Clint, why don't you head home for the day?" Steve suggested with a chuckle.
"Oh, go from one overly emotional pregnant woman to another? Thanks, boss." Clint shook his head before leaving the three of you alone.
"So, you were on a date?" Steve rose a brow.
"I don't have to ask your permission to date." You grumbled before chugging half your water bottle. "Besides, it wasn't a real date anyway. We were gonna have coffee and go into the bathroom." You admitted quietly as your cheeks burned red.
"You were looking for someone to sleep with?" Bucky questioned you, choking on his saliva.
"Don't you two judge me. I wasn't going to say anything about this." You gestured between the three of you.
"Why were you trying to get fucked in a coffee house bathroom?"
"Because your kids have made me so fucking horny at all times of the day." You snapped before sinking into a chair with a sigh. "It's a lovely side effect of pregnancy, isn't it?"
"You know, if you wanted a quick lay, you could have just asked."
"Excuse me?" You rose a brow.
"Well, it's not like we haven't done it before. Clearly." Bucky gestured to your protruding stomach. "And this way, you wouldn't be trying to squeeze in a stall with a stranger."
"Don't think we were gonna make it to a stall, but okay." You muttered. "I thought you two were together, and what we did was a result of way too many shots."
"I mean kinda."
"Bucky!" Steve scolded, reaching out and hitting the brunette in the chest.
"Don't hit me, Steve!" Bucky whined, moving away from the man. "That wasn't all I was going to say, geez."
"How you two run a mob." You muttered to yourself.
"Look, what we did wasn't exactly planned. I mean, we were all drunk, and I don't think either of us planned to get you pregnant,"
"I hope not."
"But it happened. And we're all in each other's lives now." Bucky continued. "And it's not as if Steve and I aren't attracted to you."
"This won't make things weird?" You asked, looking between the two.
"Not if we don't make it weird," Steve told you. "Besides, it's not like either of us is going anywhere any time soon."
"What do you say, kitten? You still horny?" Bucky asked with a smirk.Â
"Have been for about three weeks." You said, struggling to your feet and moving towards your bedroom. "You coming?"
"Going to be."Â
"Not as much as you will be."
Eight Months Pregnant
You had been sleeping with Bucky and Steve for three months now. And honestly, you didn't want it to stop. You weren't sure when it happened or how, but you'd fallen in love with the two.
Wanda hadn't exactly been thrilled when you'd admitted the secret.
"So not only are you carrying the two mobsters' babies, you're now in love with them?" Wanda had demanded. "Oh, honey, you're really in it now, aren't you?"
Of course, you hadn't admitted to either that your feelings had changed. Because if there hadn't, you'd have to spend the rest of your life around them feeling an intense awkwardness.
Well, right now, you wished you had said something.
"Shit," Peter swore, his head falling back against the wall.
"Stop moving, Pete." You rasped from across the room. "You've got at least two broken ribs."
There had been a problem at the bakery that only you could solve so after crawling out of Steve and Bucky's bed and showering the stench of sex off you, Clint had driven you to the bakery.
Peter had been with you while Clint had answered a call from Sam in the front room. That's all it had taken before the back room was gassed.
You had called for Clint, trying to warn him of the attack, as Peter had dragged you into the alley.
But someone had been waiting for you in the alley. You weren't sure who it was or how many had been there because someone had quickly hit you over the head.
And now the two of you were chained to opposites of a room straight out of a torture porn scenario.
"Broken ribs are gonna be the least of my problems when Steve and Bucky find us." Peter groaned, closing his eyes.
"They aren't going to touch you." You promised the younger man as you shifted uncomfortably.Â
To anyone else, it looked as though you were uncomfortable due to the terrible conditions of your kidnapping. But what you were afraid to admit out loud was that your discomfort was because of the twins in your womb.
"They're going to kill me." Peter miserably said.
"Peter, this wasn't your fault." You firmly told him. "And if they try anything, I'll kick them both in the ass." You said, causing him to chuckle.
Before Peter could retort, or you could continue to reassure him of his safety, the door to your prison opened.Â
And in walked a stunning woman.
"Karla." Peter sat as upright as he could as he glared at the smirking woman.
"Hello, Peter." The woman purred. "So sorry about the rough arrival. Science doesn't like to wait."
"Peter?" You spoke, struggling to sit up. "You want to introduce me to our friend?"
"This is Karla Sofen. She was supposed to be on our side." Peter said, continuing to glare at the woman.
"Steve and Bucky promised me many things, and in the end, they couldn't deliver." Karla tsked.
"What?"
"Oh, nothing like that, sweetie," Karla said, moving towards you. "I'm a scientist. They wanted my help with a few things."
"But we found out she was experimenting on people and their DNA." Peter snapped.
"They said I could continue my personal research." Karla shrugged.
"They didn't know it was fucking with people's genes!"
"My, my, language, Peter. What would your mother think?" Karla asked Peter with a smirk.
"So, you've kidnapped us because you're mad at Steve and Bucky?" You interjected before Karla could continue to taunt Peter.
"A little." Karla shrugged. "But I do get an added bonus by having you, sweet thing." She said, moving closer to you.
"And what would that be?"
"I have a little idea that if successful would truly allow twins, or any set of multiples, to be physically and mentally connected. The problem was, getting a set of multiples. That was until I found out about you." Karla said, kneeling down to your level.
"No." You gasped, unable to stop the tears from filling your eyes and trickling down your cheeks.
Stupid hormones.
"Oh, no, no, no. Don't cry, sweet thing." Karla cooed, reaching out to stroke your cheek. "I'm not going to hurt them. Not while they're safely nestled in your womb."
You tried to pull away from the woman, but you were already pressed against a wall.
"After all, you can't gauge the reactions of a test subject when you can't see them," Karla smirked, rising to her feet. "You'll be seeing me soon."
"Peter?"
"Hm?"
"Do you think they're looking for us yet?"
"I think they're burning the city down looking for you," Peter promised.
"I hope so." You murmured before wincing.
"Y/N?" Peter asked, sitting up straighter.
"I'm fine." You lied, moving to lie down on the cold floor.
"Don't lie to me, Y/N." Peter snapped. "What's wrong with the twins?"
"Nothing. Nothing. They're fine."
"Y/N." Peter started before you let out a gasp. "Y/N?"
"My water broke, Peter." You whispered.
"Oh shit."
"Look, Y/N, I really don't want to tell the pregnant woman what to do, but you have to try and stay quiet." Peter urged you.
"Fuck off, Parker!" You quietly snapped, biting into your fist to quiet your yells. "This kids not waiting, Pete. I think I'm gonna have to push." You cried.
"Then you're gonna have to push." Peter nodded.
"I didn't want it to go this way. I wanted Steve and Bucky to be here. I wanted the twins to be safe." You sobbed.
"Y/N, look at me." Peter pleaded. "Look, if I could come any closer, I'd be right there holding your hand, but I can't. And unfortunately, right now, this is the situation we're working with. I can't promise Steve or Bucky right now, but I promise you, nothing is going to happen to your babies."
You wanted to nod and smile at Peter's encouraging speech. You wanted to sit up and push these babies out in one go with no problems, but none of that was possible.
"Oh shit." You whimpered, hand shooting to your stomach. "I think I have to push."
Before Peter could respond, two things happened.Â
One, you were already shimming out of the clothes on your lower half.
And two, the sound of gunshots echoed throughout the room.
"Oh, thank God." Peter breathed, averting his eyes from you. "That's them."
"They better hurry, or both of 'em will be sleeping on the couch." You grunted.Â
The sound of gunfire easily covered your increasingly louder cries as the baby was getting closer to tearing its way into the world.
You could almost drown out the deafening sound as you tried to remember what your birthing coach had taught you. In fact, you almost entirely blocked out what was happening around you, until the sound of thundering footsteps got closer to your door.
You saw Peter sit upright at the noise, prepared to do what little he could in this situation when two matching gunshots rang out before something thumped to the ground.
The door slammed open, denting the wall it hit, as Bucky and Steve barreled inside.
"Oh thank God." Steve sighed, rushing to your side.Â
"We didn't think we'd make it in time," Bucky said, picking the lock on your chains.
"Nope, right in time." You grunted. "Enough with the locks. Barnes, give me your hand. Steve, get down there and get ready to catch."
"What?" The two froze.
"She's in labour!" Peter exclaimed, causing the two mob bosses to rush into action.
"Oh, I swear, I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you!"
"Oh, I love them." You gushed, staring down at the bundles in your arms.
After delivering both twins, and them being declared healthy as can be, Steve, Bucky and what seemed like an army, delivered you all back to your home.
Wanda had been quick to squeeze the life out of you for scaring her before giving her goddaughters the same treatment.Â
Wanda, and, Steve and Bucky's friends had all come and gone, leaving just the five of you together.
"How can anyone not?" Bucky whispered, running a gentle finger along one of the sleeping girl's cheeks.
"It's gonna be really hard to say no to either of them," Steve mentioned, watching the twins with the same sappy smile he'd been wearing for hours.
"You're gonna spoil them, aren't ya?" You smirked at the blonde.
"I plead the fifth." He said, causing you and Bucky to laugh quietly.
"You really scared us today, kitten," Bucky mentioned as the two of you sobered.
"We went a little crazy when we found out you were taken," Steve admitted.
"Peter thought you might burn down the city." You told the two.
"We were thinking about it," Bucky said, and you didn't think he was joking.
"I was scared too." You said, looking down at the babies. "Scared she'd take our babies and hurt them, scared she was gonna kill Peter and me, and honestly, I was scared I wouldn't get to see either of you ever again."Â
You felt a finger hook under your chin and found yourself looking into Steve's eyes.
"You were scared you wouldn't see us again?"
"Yeah."
"Yeah?"
"Yes." You nodded, swallowing back the tears at the memories. "I should have said something sooner, but I was scared, but I'm not scared anymore. I love the two of you. I don't want to be co-parents with you, I want the three of us to be together and just be these kids' parents.Â
I know it's dangerous, and I know I'm going to be worried about the two of you more often than not, but I think you're worth it. I think the three of us being together is worth it." You said, swallowing harshly once you had finished your impromptu speech.
"I can't believe you beat Steve to the speech." Bucky laughed. "Kitten, when we heard you were taken, we decided that once we got you back we were gonna ask you the same thing."
"Really?"
"Yes. And if you'll have us, we'd love to be in this with you 100%." Steve smiled. "As partners, lovers, the parents to the cutest girls ever born."
"Except for their mother." Bucky cut in.
"Except for their mother." Steve agreed. "What do you say?"
"How did I ever think this was supposed to be a one night thing?" You smiled at the two. "Yes. I want this. I want both of you. I want this family."
"And you'll have it."
"Along with anything else your heart could ever desire."
"It already has everything it could ever want."

Tangled
Steve x reader x Natasha
Requested by anon
Soulmate AU. Drawings appear.
"We're going to freeze out here." Steve shivered, pulling Natasha closer to his side as they kept walking.
"There has to be shelter around here somewhere." Natasha insisted, clutching her jacket closer to her chest with one hand. Her other was firmly clutched around her gun.
The two had been assigned a mission separate from the rest of the team.Â
Natasha and Steve were to take the jet to a remote region of Siberia, where a new HYDRA base was said to have been formed.
Unfortunately for them, HYDRA had seen them coming and shot their jet down, causing their current trek through the frozen terrain.
"I can already hear the I told you so's from the rest of the team." Steve sighed.
"Us going with a team wouldn't have stopped HYDRA from shooting our jet down." Natasha shook her head. "Might have caused a few casualties."
"You're right." Steve agreed with his soulmate.
"We need to find a cave or something. It's going to be nightfall soon." Natasha said, surveying her surroundings.
"We just have to keep walking until we find somewhere," Steve said as he and Natasha pushed on.
The two walked for what felt like hours before they suddenly stopped in their tracks.
"Did I hit my head when we crashed, or am I really seeing this?" Steve rubbed at his eyes.
"If you have a head injury, so do I," Natasha said, staring down at the giant house in the valley of the mountain. "C'mon, we take shelter there for the night." She said, pulling Steve down the hill.
"What if someone's home?"
"Well, we see whose side they're on and go from there." Natasha shrugged.
As the two got closer to the house, they could see how wrong they were calling it that.
This wasn't a house. It was a mansion.
"Steve." Natasha stopped, almost causing the man to crash into her back.
"Jesus," Steve swore, staring down at the sight before him.Â
There, in the snow, lay a woman dead.
She had clearly been there for a while. The blood around her body had turned brown, and two birds were sharing a meal of her stomach.
"HYDRA?" Steve wondered, turning to his soulmate.
"Self-inflicted." Natasha shook her head. "Entry's under the chin, exit's top of the skull, and I think this is the weapon," Natasha said, kicking snow off a gun that was concealed by the dead woman's hand.
"Jesus. Guess the house is empty then." Steve mentioned, tearing his eyes away from the corpse.
"Only one way to find out," Natasha told her soulmate as she nodded at the mansion.
Together the two made their way towards the giant manor, climbing up the front porch before Natasha kicked the door down.
The door fell to the floor with a loud bang that echoed throughout the long hall.
"Cover my six," Natasha murmured to Steve as she stepped over the broken door.
"Mother?" The two heard as they neared the stairs. "Mother, please, I've learnt my lesson! Please just let us out, and I'll be good!" A girl promised.
"To the left." Natasha nodded to that hallway up the stairs.
"I know you're out there, Mother!" The girl called.
"This one," Steve whispered, standing in front of a painted door.Â
Steve reached out and attempted to turn the doorknob, only to find it unwilling to move.
"You want this one?" Natasha whispered to the man, taking a step back when he nodded.
Steve quickly kicked the door, and Natasha entered first, gun in hand, only to be growled at by a wolf.
"Christ," Steve swore, standing in front of Natasha, his shield protecting them both.
"Pascal, heel!" The same girl's voice said, causing the wolf to rush away.
Natasha and Steve's heads snapped to where a woman stood, and their jaws dropped.
The woman stood would with the wolf now sitting at her side. Her skin was incredibly pale, causing her dark eyes to stand out, but not as much as the hair that cascaded its way to the ground did.
"You're not mother." The woman said, her hand resting on the wolf's head.
"No, we're not." Natasha shook her head as she and Steve lowered their weapons.
"Did she send you for me? Is she letting me out?" The woman asked the two, stepping forward as a chain dragged behind her.
"She chained you up?" Steve questioned her with wide eyes.
"Please, the key is outside in the hall. If you could just let me out?" She begged before Steve rushed for the key.
"What's your name?" Natasha asked as Steve unlocked the woman's manacle.
"Y/N." She breathed, rolling her ankle as it was freed. "Thank you."
"Why were you locked in here?"
"Because. I disobeyed Mother's rules, and she didn't like that." Y/N shook her head. "It's only been three days. I thought it might have been longer."
"Three days?"
"Only a short punishment. But she must still be mad at me if she sent you for me." Y/N said, looking between the two. "How mad is she?"
"Um, well," Steve stuttered, shifting towards Natasha uncomfortably.
"It's better you see for yourself," Natasha said, holding her hand out to the woman.
Y/N stared at Natasha's hand for several seconds before finally taking it.
"C'mon, Pascal." Y/N summoned the wolf, who quickly moved to her side.Â
Natasha led the woman and the wolf through the hall, Steve following closely behind them.
"We found her like this," Steve murmured as Natasha pulled her through the broken front door.
Y/N wrapped her free arm around herself as she stepped out of her warm home onto the frigid porch.
Her eyes searched the front yard for her mother, and it wasn't long before she found her.
"Oh." Y/N gasped, her knees buckling before she fell to the floor.
Reader POV
"The milk's gone out of date. I hope you don't mind that I didn't use it." You said, placing a tray of tea on the table before flitting over to the pantry.
"Y/N, you really don't have to serve us." Steve protested for the fourth time.
"I don't know what I'll do if I stop moving." You shook her head. "Please, don't ask me to stop." You pleaded.
"The tea's delicious." Natasha changed the subject.
"Well, when you live alone for nine months out of the year, you experiment until you're satisfied." You said, grabbing a dog dish from the floor.Â
"You live here on your own?" Steve wondered.
"Ever since I was four when I worked out how to feed myself." You nodded, filling the dog dish with meat. "And I wasn't alone. I had Pascal." You said, placing Pascal's meal in front of him and stepping away before he went to eat.
"He's remarkably well trained," Natasha commented, staring at your wolf intently.
"Pascal was only a baby when I found him. He must have got separated from his family because he was alone on my porch." You told the redhead.
For a moment, the three of you fell into silence. The only sound in the kitchen was Pascal slurping down his meal.
"Thank you." You said, breaking the silence. "For helping me bury her."
"Of course." Natasha nodded.
"Y/N, do you have any idea why she'd do that?" Steve hesitantly asked before Natasha swatted him. "Ow, Nat!"
"You don't have to answer that."
"I think I know why she killed herself." You murmured, feeling both strangers' eyes trained on you. "My mother killed herself because of me."
Neither Natasha nor Steve knew how to respond to that.
"If you'll excuse me, I'm feeling a little light-headed. I'm just going to call it a day." You said, moving to the door. "Feel free to stay. There's plenty of room, and now there's another free room."
"Thank you, Y/N."
"Of course." You nodded. "Besides, I can't send you out there now. A storm's coming."
"It's clear skies out there." Steve protested.
"For now. But Pascal always knows when a storm's coming, and I know all the signs." You told the blonde.Â
Without another word, you turned on your heel and quickly left the room, beelining for your own.
You had barely closed the door behind you before you were sinking to the floor.Â
There were no tears, and you couldn't find it in yourself to want to cry as you thought about your mother.
"I shouldn't have said anything. Mother, if you can hear me, I'm sorry." You whispered, closing your eyes and leaning your head against the wall.
But there was no reply.Â
She'd never reply again.
As you had predicted, a snowstorm had started overnight and hadn't let up yet.
"You weren't kidding about the storm," Steve said, entering your room with Pascal at his side.
The wolf had taken quite a shine to him in the less than twenty-four hours he'd been here.
"I told you, I know the signs." You said, plaiting your hair which was a considerable task.
"I guess I've never been somewhere with snow storms before," Steve said, taking a seat on the edge of your bed. "Thank you for letting me and Nat stay."
"Of course, it's the least I could do." You shrugged. "You helped bury my mother, and you freed me."
"Yeah, about that. That wasn't something that happened regularly was it?" Steve wondered.
"Only when I'd broken her rules." You shrugged.Â
"Rules?"
"Don't go outside. Don't ask so many questions. Don't go into her room and through her things." You mentioned. "Don't write back to whoever writes to me." You added, glancing at your bare arms.
"You've never written to your soulmate?" Steve questioned you, sounding shocked.
"Soulmate?" You cocked your head.
"The person writing to you. That's your soulmate." Steve explained.
"Oh. That's not what mother said." You murmured as Pascal sat at your side. "Mother told me it was the universe's most cruel game. That whoever wrote to you was the person who would kill you."
"That's horrible." Steve gasped. "And not true at all."
"It's what I know, Steve. It's all I've ever been told." You shrugged.
"Y/N, Natasha is my soulmate. I've known her for years, and neither of us has ever tried to kill each other." Steve told you.Â
"Yet." You said pessimistically.Â
"It's never going to happen, Y/N. That's the point of soulmates. They're someone you love. Someone you care for and who cares for you." Steve said, moving to kneel at your side. "Your mother was wrong to tell you that. To lie to you."
"It wasn't her first lie." You mumbled, clenching your fist at the memory.Â
"Why don't you just try to talk to them? To your soulmate." Steve pushed you.
"Because they could be a cannibal. Carry the plague. Have sharp teeth." You listed, recalling a previous conversation with your mother.
"Y/N,"
"Steve, I can't. Not today, not right now." You cut the man off. "My mother is dead. I am discovering more and more of her lies daily. I can't try to contact someone who may just be what I think they will." You snapped.
"You're right. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have pushed you like that." Steve said, guilt taking over his face.
"It's fine, Steve." You shook your head. "You know anything about braiding? I can never get the back to look right." You sighed, letting go of your hair.
"Surprisingly, I do," Steve said, moving to stand behind you. "What kind of braid do you want? French? Dutch? Five strands?"
"You didn't have to do this, Nat." You said, watching the redhead move around your kitchen.
"Of course, I did. There are two thing's I'm good at, and one of them is pie." Natasha smiled.
"What's the second?" You cocked your head.
"Oh, the second's not for innocent ears," Natasha said with a smirk.
"Oh."
It had been a week since the start of the storm. It had stopped for two days before continuing with the same fierceness as before.
Growing up in this house, you were used to the occasional storm, but this was the only one you could remember actually having company for.
And you weren't complaining.
"You know all your knives are blunt, right?" Natasha questioned you as she struggled to cut through an apple.
"There's a sharpening stone in the drawer." You told the redhead.
"How are all your knives blunt in the first place?" Natasha asked, moving for the object.Â
"I don't really sharpen them in the first place." You shrugged. "Never really refined the technique."
"I'll have to teach you, damn it," Natasha swore, dropping the knife as she clutched her bleeding hand.
"Natasha?" You jumped up from your chair and rushed to the woman as her blood began to drip onto the floor.
"Shit. Sorry, Y/N." Natasha said, throwing her hand over the sink. "Wasn't holding the knife properly."
"That looks bad." You commented, staring at Natasha with wide eyes.
"I've had worse." Natasha shrugged. "Do you have a first aid kit anywhere here?"
"No." You shook your head. "But there's something I can do." You said, taking a step towards her.
"You know how to stitch?" Natasha rose a brow.
"I'm going to do something, but I need you to not freak out." You told the woman.
"Cryptic, but go on." Natasha nodded.
Stepping closer to Natasha, you pulled your long hair in front of you before wrapping the bottom around Natasha's wound.
"Flower gleam and glow." You began to sing as your H/C began to glow. "Let your power shine. Make the clock reverse. Bring back what once was mine."
Natasha let out a gasp, but you continued.
"Heal what has been hurt. Change the fates design. Save what has been lost. Bring back what once was mine. What once was mine."Â You finished.
You opened your eyes (when had you closed them?) but didn't yet look up at Natasha as you unwound your hair from her newly healed hand.
"How?" Natasha asked, raising her hand and looking at it incredulously.
"I don't know." You admitted. "When I was a kid, I started singing to myself when my hair started to glow. After a lot of screaming, Mother and I worked out I could turn back the clock."
"Turn back time?" Natasha rose a brow.
"How old do you think my mother was?" You asked instead of answering.
"She looked like she was in her late thirties." Natasha guessed.
"Mother was nearly ninety." You said, causing Natasha's eyes to widen. "She'd come back once a week for an extra boost."
"You're not like fifty, are you?"
"No, I'll be twenty-five in a few months." You smiled.
"Wow, okay, I have definitely seen strange, and you are now on that list," Natasha said, causing your brow to furrow.
"Is that bad?"
"No, it means you surprised me. And it takes a lot to do that." Natasha smiled. "By the way, you have blood in your hair now."
"I hate you!" You screamed, throwing the book at your mother's mirror. "I hate you!"
"Y/N," Steve knocked on the door, causing you to spin on your heel and see him and Natasha behind you. "Is everything okay?"
"I'm fine. Just emptying out mother's room. It's not like she'll be using it anytime soon." You said, sweeping your arm and knocking the things off her dresser.
"Y/N,"
"Steve, I'm going to ask you to stop looking at me like that because I'm doing great." You cut the blonde off. "My lying mother is dead. By her own hand, none the less, and all because she was too much of a coward to face me!" You exclaimed before dropping to the floor.
"Would you like to talk about that?" Natasha asked, now kneeling in front of you.
"That was long overdue." You muttered.
"Y/N, your mother might have lied to you about soulmates, but I'm sure you don't hate her." Steve tried to reason with you, causing you to scoff.
"I do hate her." You nodded. "And that wasn't her only lie. In fact, that wasn't even her biggest lie."
"And what would that be?"
"She stole me." You said, rising to your feet. "A man gave me to her after taking me from my biological parents, and she lied about it every day of her life."
"What?"
"Read for yourself." You stormed over to the book you threw, thrusting it into Natasha's hands. "She details it all in here. In fact, she kept track of my actual family trying to find me. Newspaper articles of them pleading for my return for year after year of my existence."
"The lost princess?" Steve read over Natasha's shoulder.
"I knew she was keeping something about my father from me. That's why you found me the way you did! I had asked her about him, and she got mad. Now I know why." You spat, rubbing your hands over your face.
"Y/N, we know this man," Natasha spoke, causing your head to snap up.
"What?"
"This man and the woman beside him, we know who they are," Natasha told you.
"Y/N, we work with your father. We're on the same team." Steve added.
"Don't toy with my emotions, please. It's not very kind." You shook your head at the two.
"We're not trying to toy with your emotions," Natasha said, pulling a newspaper article out of the book and turning it to you. "This man is Tony Stark, your father. We've worked together for years. And this Pepper Potts-Stark, your mother, your real mother." Natasha told you.
"Are they, are they still looking for me?" You looked between the two.
"They never stopped," Steve promised you. "They love you too much to stop." He said as you slipped to the ground, your world once again collapsing around you.
"Are they good people?" You asked Natasha and Steve not long after they admitted to knowing your birth parents.
"Some of the best we know." Steve smiled.
"And they still want me?" You wondered nervously, tapping the mug in your hands.
"They never stopped," Natasha promised you. "And when this storm ends, you can come with us to meet them."
"Wow." You said, leaning back in your seat and patting a whining Pascal. "This is unbelievable."
"You're taking this pretty well, all things considered." Steve complimented you.
"Mother, she wasn't always here, and when she was, there was a wall between us. And now I know why." You sighed. "I think that's why she did what she did. I just hope she found peace in her final moments." You told the two.
"That is remarkably kind." Natasha whistled.
"Well, despite the kidnapping, the abandonment, the abuse of my magic hair, the lies, and the locking me in my room, she did keep me alive." You said, causing Steve to chuckle as he reached across the table for a cookie.
"Steve, why are your arms covered in paint?" Natasha tsked at the green stains on Steve's arm.
"Oh, that'll be me, sorry." You apologised. "I was painting before that, and I just get paint everywhere. I'm always covered in it. See?" You showed the two your paint-covered arms.
"Natasha." Steve gasped, staring at you with wide eyes.
"I see it," Natasha said, rolling her sleeves up. "And I have the same patches too." She breathed.
"So, that means,"
"You're our soulmate," Steve told you. "But remember what I told you, Y/N."
"I do." You nodded. "Besides, I think it's very obvious to everyone in this room that my mother was a liar. But how can you have more than one soulmate?"
"Sometimes when a person or persons experience great pain during their life, the universe grants a penance." Natasha hummed.Â
"Another soulmate?"
"Another person to love and to love them." Natasha nodded. "I suppose the universe thinks it owes us an apology."
"That sounds about right," Steve muttered.
"I don't know how to be a soulmate." You admitted with a frown. "I don't know why the universe would give you me."
"Because we know pain," Steve told you. "And we know love."
"And we have more than enough to give," Natasha said, taking your hand.
"I don't know how to do this." You told the two. "I don't know how to be a soulmate."
"That's alright. It's not something anyone knows how to do." Natasha promised you.Â
"It's something you work out together," Steve told you.Â
"I'm willing to learn. If you're willing to be patient." You said after a moment, chewing on your bottom lip.
"Of course we are," Steve said as Natasha nodded.
"Everything is going to be just fine. We'll work this out together."
"Are we sure the storm's done?" Steve asked as the three of you packed a bag.
"Positive." You nodded, lightly wrapping a scarf around Pascal's neck as a lead. "This storm's past, but we better hurry before another comes along."
"The closest town's almost a two days walk away," Natasha said, ripping the map from your kidnappers' diary. "But with this, we should be fine." She added, shouldering her bag.
"Let's get going then." You said, nerves filling your chest at the idea.
"Y/N, are you sure there's nothing you want to take?" Steve asked you for the third time.
"I have my paints, I have Pascal, and I have the two of you." You smiled, raising a hand to his cheek. "There's nothing else I need from here. From her."
"Alright, let's get walking."
It had hardly been a half hour since the four of you began your journey when a deafening howl of wind caused you all to stop.
"What's that?" You yelled over the sound, Pascal huddling behind your legs.
"That's one of ours!" Steve exclaimed with a grin.
You watched from Natasha's side as a large plane appeared above you before landing a distance from you.Â
"Damn, I owe Brucie-Bear five bucks now!" A dark-haired man called as he exited the craft. "I was sure wolves had eaten you! Not that you would've tamed one." He teased, noting Pascal.
"You should know better than to doubt us by now, Stark." Natasha rolled her eyes, taking your hand.
"It's good to see you." A short man smiled as he followed after the first. "Who's your friend?"
"This is Y/N," Steve said, his arm moving around your waist. "She's our third."
"Soulmate?"Â
"Lucky you."
"Y/N, this is Bruce Banner and, Tony Stark," Natasha said, causing your eyes to widen. "Tony, this is Y/N,"
"You already said that." He interrupted, causing Natasha to narrow her eyes at him.
"Your daughter." Natasha continued.
"Excuse me?"
"We found her, Tony," Steve told the man. "She's been out here all this time."
"Shut up, Steve." Tony held up his hand as he stepped closer to you until he was an arm's length away.Â
You weren't sure what to say to the man, to your father, after all this time. So you settled for staring at him nervously.
"You look so much like your mother." Tony breathed before pulling you into an embrace.
For a second, you froze. But it wasn't long before you found yourself melting in his embrace.
"Hey, hon, we need some magic hair down here, please!" Your father called, causing you and your mother, your real mother, to share an amused look.
"What did you do now, Anthony?" Your mother sighed as the two of you made your way into the living room.
"IÂ didn't do anything! Romanoff started it!" Tony whined as Natasha smirked.
"I didn't start anything, and Steve will back me up," Natasha said.
"If you were provoking our daughter-in-law again, then you don't deserve magic healing." Your mother scoffed before turning on her heel. "An ice pack will do you just fine!"
"Pepper, babe, just listen to my side of the story." Your father pleaded, chasing after your mother.
"What did you do?" You rose a brow at your soulmates.
"Tony asked us to train him in hand-to-hand, and he got cocky," Steve admitted, wrapping an arm around your waist.
"Nothing that won't heal," Natasha smirked.Â
"What did I ever do to deserve this chaos?" You sighed, smiling up at the two.
"You saying you'd trade us for someone else?" Natasha rose a brow.
"Never."
And you meant it. You wouldn't trade anything for your soulmates and your family. After the hell you had been put through, you had more than earned your family and soulmates.

Out of Depth
Eddie x reader x Venom
After being kidnapped by the Life Foundation and discovering that you were pregnant, your life had taken a turn.
You, Eddie and Venom had been hiding in Dan's beach house for a week. The three of you had decided that it was too dangerous at the moment to risk returning home, and Dan was generous enough to let you stay.
You were now five weeks pregnant, but the baby was five months along.
The three of you were still adjusting to being parents so soon and dealing with the side effects of having a half symbiote baby.Â
"Ow. Ow. Ow." You grunted, holding your hand to your back.
"Nibble?"Â Venom asked, appearing at your side, causing you to jump.
"Jesus, Vee. Don't sneak up on me." You sighed, holding a hand over your heart. "My balance is gone these days."
"Sorry, nibble."Â Venom said, rubbing his face against yours. "You sounded like you were in pain. Are you in pain?"
"No. Yes, but no. It's just the baby." You said, rubbing circles on your back.
"What?" Venom exclaimed, suddenly wrapping around you.  "Eddie, get in here!" Venom shouted before dragging Eddie into the room.
"What the hell, Vee?" Eddie cried out, struggling to right himself quickly.
"There's something wrong with the spawn!"
"You got to stop saying that, Vee."
"Y/N, babe? What's wrong? Are you okay?" Eddie asked, moving to your side. "Is the baby okay?" He prodded, putting his hand on your stomach.
"The baby is fine." You promised. "They're just growing too quickly for me."
"Is that possible?" Eddie asked.
"Well, they're half symbiote. Every week of growth equals four weeks, and I'm only supposed to be five weeks pregnant, but I look like this." You said, gesturing to your large stomach.
"If you're worried about what you look like, babe, we think you look amazing," Eddie said, wrapping his arms around your waist.
"I wasn't thinking about that until now."
"Nice job, Eddie."
"The doctors that took me said that my body was only mostly compatible." You admitted. "They said I might be the problem for the baby with my weaker DNA."
"That's ridiculous." Venom scoffed. "You are housing our spawn, a perfect mixture of the three of us."
"Vee,"
"I have seen how strong our spawn is. The sickness and slowness are because they need more nutrients." Venom told you. "There is nothing wrong with your DNA."
"See, Y/N? The baby is fine." Eddie promised you. "Look Dan's coming down as soon as he can, and he'll check it all out."
"Is he going to be mad if I kick him on accident?" You wondered. After your experience with the Life Foundation, you weren't sure you'd ever be able to go to a doctor without feeling paranoid again.
"What? No, Nah, he probably gets that all the time." Eddie assured you.Â
"I can kick Dan for you."Â Venom volunteered.
"Don't go kicking Dan around. Otherwise, Anne will kick me around." Eddie groaned as you laughed. "C'mon, you need to sit." He said, leading you towards the couch.
"I'm not going to collapse, Eddie." You said as Eddie helped you sit.
"I know. But you said your ankles were hurting last night, so I figured this might help."Â
"I ever tell you two that you're a godsend?" You asked as Venom wrapped around you and Eddie sat beside you.
"Not today."
"What? Not ever. I've never heard Y/N say that before."
Nothing seemed to be satisfying your cravings.
You'd woken up in the middle of the night and snuck into the kitchen in search of something to satisfy the baby.
You'd ripped open bags of pasta, sweet potatoes, tater tots, and chocolates, but nothing hit the spot.
"Y/N?" You heard Eddie, causing your head to snap up from the raw chicken you were stuffing into your mouth. "What's going on?"
"Hungry." You muttered, ripping off another chunk of chicken.
"Y/N, that's raw. You're gonna be sick." Eddie came over to you and tried to take the poultry out of your hands.
"Mine!" You shouted, inching away from the man. "Don't touch it!"
"Y/N."
"Eddie, don't."Â Venom said, appearing at Eddie's side.
"I'm sorry." You sobbed as guilt surged through you. "I'm sorry. I'm just so hungry." You said, throwing yourself into Eddie's arms.
"I know what you need."Â Venom spoke up.
"Really?" You asked with wide eyes. "What is it?"
"No, Vee." Eddie snapped before the symbiote could answer. "She can't eat like us."
"There are plenty of organs that Y/N can eat." Venom said. "It doesn't have to be a person."
"Okay, then, we can get you fish," Eddie told you. "You like fish, right? Not that I think it matters right now what you like, considering you're eating a raw chicken."
"No, Eddie, it has to be fresh." Venom told his host. "The spawn needs something rich in nutrients and phenethylamine."
"I don't care what it is!" You shouted, causing both symbiote and man to look at you. "I don't care what it is. Just make this stop! Please, please, boys."
"Alright." Eddie sighed. "Look, please, just stay right here. There's a stash of chocolate under the bed, eat that, and we'll be right back." Eddie said, kissing you.
"What? That's my chocolate!"
"It's for the baby, Vee."
"Fine. Eat the chocolate, nibble, and we'll be back with what you need."Â Venom said, kissing your cheek.
And then they were off.Â
You'd rushed into the room you were staying in and snatched the stash from under the bed.Â
The next few minutes were a mess of wrappers and sugar.Â
There was nothing else for you at that moment as you tried to fill the ravenous pit that was your stomach.
And then your boys came home.
They were loud, slamming the door open and stomping back towards the bedroom.
But they weren't the only ones making loud noises.
Something was squealing, an animal you could tell that much before it was cut off with a squelch.
"Eat this, nibble."Â Venom said, holding something dripping in front of you.
He didn't have to ask you twice. You descended on the wet clump and gobbled it down in nearly four bites.
"Feel better?" Eddie asked as the haze lifted, and the pit in your stomach was satisfied.
"Ugh, that was disgusting. What was that?" You gagged, wiping your tongue on your shirt, only to freeze at the red stain on your shirt. "Eddie? Vee?"
"Breathe, Y/N, just take a breath."
"What, what, what did I just eat? Was it a who?" You stammered, wiping your bloody hands on your pants.
"No, no, baby, I promise it wasn't a person," Eddie said, taking your hands in his and squeezing tightly.
"I'm gonna be sick." You gagged, turning your head to the side and throwing up on the floor.
"You're okay, baby. Let it out." Eddie cooed, holding your hair back.
"It's a waste of perfectly good pig."Â Venom grumbled as he ran a tendril down your back.
"It was a pig?" You asked after you stopped throwing up.
"Full of all the nutrients you and the baby need."Â Venom promised you.Â
"How's the baby feel now? Are you still hungry?" Eddie questioned you.
"No." You shook your head. "No, the baby feels full. Oh, God. Does this mean I'm gonna have to drink blood out of a fucking cup? Is this some fucking Twilight shit?"
"What is Twilight?"
"Something I'm never gonna sit through with you, bud," Eddie grumbled. "No, this isn't some vampire baby. Our kid just needs a little bit fresher meat. We're gonna figure this out." Eddie promised you.Â
"I won't eat a human." You told the two. "Won't happen."
"You won't have to," Eddie told you. "Will she Vee?"
"Pig will do just as well."Â Â Venom promised you, wrapping his around you.Â
"C'mon, let's get you in the shower, babe," Eddie said, helping you to your feet. "You're covered in vomit."
"And blood."Â Venom added, licking some off your neck.
"Gross, Vee." You sighed.Â
"Waste not want not."
It was a rare occurrence at this stage in your pregnancy for neither Venom nor Eddie to be around you.
The two were overprotective, and with everything that had happened in the last few weeks, that overprotectiveness had doubled.
But tonight, you woke up alone, and the boys' side was cold.
Pulling the blanket around your shoulders, you went off in search of your partners.
"Vee, bud, please, I'm tired." Eddie sighed. "Can't we just go back to bed?"
"No, Eddie! What if we infect Y/N and the baby?"Â Venom demanded.
"Eddie? Vee?" You asked, standing in the living room doorframe. "What are you doing?" You questioned, watching as Eddie paced the length of the room.
"Vee, won't let me sleep." Eddie sighed as he continued to pace. "He won't even let me sit." He said, glaring at the head on his shoulder.
"Vee?"
"Eddie is not taking the problem seriously."Â Venom said, flicking Eddie's head.
"What problem could you two have at two in the morning?" You wondered, cocking your head.Â
"There isn't a problem," Eddie told you. "Vee's just panicking over nothing."
"This is not nothing, Eddie!" Venom snapped. "Carnage was a problem!"
"Was, Vee," Eddie stressed. "Carnage has been gone for almost three years."
"Boys, please, it is very early in the morning, and I am very tired. What are you going on about?" You cut the two off.
"Vee thinks the baby is going to turn out like Carnage because of him." Eddie dobbed.Â
"What?"
"Carnage was our spawn, and he was a psychopath." Venom reminded you. "That means it was our fault."
"No, Vee. That wasn't your fault." You said, moving towards the two. "Carnage would've been just fine if it wasn't because of Kasady. It's his fault for what happened."
"But,"
"No, Vee." You cut him off, holding the side of his face. "Carnage would've been good if he had a different host. The only person who did Carnage wrong was Kasady."
"See, Vee? Y/N agrees with me."
"You are going to be a great father. Both of you are. This baby is going to grow up knowing what wrong and right are, and what love feels like." You said, taking Eddie's hand and placing it on your stomach. "Feel, Vee. Does this baby feel evil?"
"No."Â Venom relented after placing a tendril on your bump.
"Exactly. Now come on, both of you, come back to bed. With me, please?" You asked the two.
"Vee?"
"Alright. Let's go back to bed."Â
"This is really weird, you know that, right?" Anne asked you as she passed you a mug of tea.
"After the last few years of my life, nothing's too weird anymore." You shook your head.
"Well fair enough." Anne nodded. "Did Dan say when the baby should be due?"
"Honestly, with how strange the baby's DNA is and how quickly this pregnancy has gone, the best Dan could give me was any day now." You sighed, shifting in your seat.
"You alright?"
"Yeah, baby's just sitting weird." You waved Anne's concern off. "Tell me something about work."
"I've got people suing over people and other people suing more people. Nothing new." Anne shook her head.Â
"Do we know when the boys are getting back with dinner?" You questioned Anne.
"Dan said the restaurant was a half-hour away, and they left twenty minutes ago, so it could be a while. Why?" Anne asked as you stood up.
"Because my water just broke." You groaned, clutching your stomach.
"What?" Anne shrieked, jumping to her feet. "Oh my God, Y/N! Why didn't you say anything before?"Â
"I didn't think I was actually in labour, Anne." You exclaimed as the woman moved to your side. "Ugh, where's Eddie and Venom?"
"Shit, I'm going to call them now!" Anne said, dashing for her phone and quickly dialling Eddie's number.
"Hey, Annie. We're on our way back now." Eddie said once he answered the phone.
"Eddie, Y/N is in labour!" Anne exclaimed. "You three need to get back here now!"
"What?"
"Her water's already broken!"
"Alright, Y/N, this is Dan. Eddie, Vee, calm down! Are you experiencing contractions?"
"Yes, and it hurts!" You shouted as you felt another strong one.
"Hang on, Y/N. We're on our way!"Â Venom said. You heard Dan let out a surprised sound before the call cut out.
"Well, that was helpful." Anne rolled her eyes before she wrapped an arm around your waist. "Come on, I think you're supposed to lay down."
"I'm telling you, I'm never letting either of those two ever touch me again." You complained as Anne led you into the bedroom.
"I think everyone always says that. Give it a day or two, and we'll see what you say." Anne said, laying you down.
"I hate this!" You cried, squeezing Anne's hand.
"And I hate Eddie and Venom aren't here for you to break their hands!" Anne exclaimed.
"We're here!"Â Venom shouted, bursting into the room with a terrified Dan in his arms.
"Never again," Dan muttered as he moved to your side. "Anne, can you get me some hot water, towels and some scissors? Sterilised, please. Oh, and some gloves!"
"Eddie? Venom? One of you want to take my place?" Anne asked, trying to wrench her hand out of yours.
"I got it," Eddie said, taking your hand. "How ya feeling, Y/N?" He asked you as Venom formed behind you.
"Like a watermelon's trying to force itself out of my cooter!" You groaned.
"Here!" Anne said, running back into the room with everything Dan requested.
"Alright, Y/N, I have to take your pants off now. Is that okay?" Dan asked, snapping on the gloves.
"Yes! Yes! Just get this kid out of me!"
"Do not look down there, Dan!"Â Venom snapped, smacking the doctor in the head.
"He has to so he can deliver the baby, Vee." Eddie reined in the symbiote.Â
"Keep your eyes to yourself, Dan."Â
"Holy mackerel! You're already fully dilated, Y/N." Dan told you.
"Does that mean I can push? Please, tell me I can push!" You yelled, squeezing Eddie's hand so tightly you could swear you heard a crack.
"Yeah, next contraction, give it your all," Dan told you. "Annie, I need you to be ready to catch the baby. They're moving fast."
"On it."
"Already, Y/N, ready?"
"Get this kid out of me."
"Push, Y/N, push."
"Holy shit!"
"Oh my God! Y/N, this is a horror show!"
"Fuck you, Eddie!" You screeched. "Neither of you are ever touching me again! You hear me?"
"One more push, Y/N."Â
"I hate you two! You hear me!"
"I hate myself right now too!"Â
"Y/N, you just broke Eddie's hand!"
"You're lucky it wasn't yours!" You yelled before a baby's squalling cut you off.
"It's a girl!" Dan exclaimed. "You want to cut the cord, Eddie?"
"Can I?" Eddie asked, looking between you, Venom and Dan.
"Go for it, Eddie. I'm just gonna lay here." You smiled, leaning back into Venom's chest.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Eddie apologised after cutting the cord. "I think she hates me." He panicked.
"She's a newborn, Eddie." Anne laughed as she wrapped a blanket loosely around the baby. "They hate the world." She said as she placed your little girl on your chest.
"Oh, hi. Hi, there, little one." You cooed. "Oh, my God. She's so small. Look at her."
"I'm not looking away," Eddie said, sitting by your side.Â
"We made her."Â Venom purred, gently touching the baby's face.
At Venom's touch, the baby stopped squealing and looked around for a second. And then it happened.
It was almost like she flickered. One second her skin was bright red and human, and the next, it was the same as Venoms.
"Did you see that?"Â Venom jumped.
"Yeah, she's just like her dad." Eddie smiled at the symbiote.Â
"Both of you. I think that's your nose, Eddie." You smiled.
"Oh no, let's hope she has your smile to balance that out." Eddie laughed.
"Who cares? She's perfect either way."
"Yeah, she is, isn't she?"Â

Eddie x reader x Venom
Venom thinking.
Venom speaking aloud.
Venom talking through you.
TW; brief mention of abortion.
You, Eddie and Venom had now been together for three years. Granted, you hadn't actually known about Venom until six months into the relationship, but things had worked out fine.
Tonight was your anniversary, and the three of you were going all out.
"That was really nice." You hummed as you all exited the restaurant.
"Vee says he wishes the portions were bigger," Eddie commented, wrapping his arm around your waist. "And I gotta agree."
"That's just because you two are bottomless pits. " You smirked as one of Venom's tendrils slipped around your waist. "Don't worry, the hotel has a door dash approved policy."
"Great," Eddie growled, his voice melding with Venoms. "Vee."
"Leave him alone, Eddie. He's just a little grumpy because he's hungry." You reminded the man.
"Vee says we''re walking too slow." Eddie relayed. "That we should have taken the bike."
"And get stuck in this traffic?" You asked, nodding to the busy street. "It wouldn't be much faster."
"That's what I was thinking." Eddie nodded. "But Vee's got a better idea." He said, pulling you into a nearby alley.
"I am not having sex with you here." You crossed your arms. "Either of you."
"Never ask you to, babe," Eddie said, kicking a clump of trash. "Vee has a quicker way to the hotel." He told you before Venom engulfed Eddie.
"Hi, morsel." Venom purred, reaching out a hand to gently cup your face.
"Hi, Vee." You smiled. "What's your plan?"
"We fly." Venom said, reaching out and gently pulling you into his chest.
Before you could say a word, the three of you were swinging through the air.
You always loved swinging with your boys. Unlike Eddie, you loved heights and the thrill of falling always made you smile.
"Stop a couple of alleys before the hotel, sweetheart." You told the symbiote over the whistle of the wind. "We don't want anyone connecting any dots."
"Humans are too stupid for that." Venom rumbled.
"Rephrase that sentence, Vee."
"Most humans are too stupid." Venom amended. "You and Eddie are not." He said as you landed in an alleyway.
"Love you, Vee." You said, leaning up to kiss his cheek. "I'll see you in the room."
"See you soon." Venom purred before melding back into Eddie.
"Shall we?" Eddie asked, holding out his arm to you.
"We shall." You smiled, taking hold of his arm.
The two of you made it into the hotel and your room with no hassle, a first for you.
"This place is swanky." You whistled. "How the hell did we afford this?"
"Thank my publisher. They got us a good deal." Eddie said as he looked around. "And this is only the living room."
"How about you check out the bedroom while I order us a second dinner?" You suggested.
"I've got a better idea," Eddie smirked, taking your hand.
"You boys are just full of good ideas tonight, aren't you?" You laughed as Eddie pulled you towards the bedroom.
Two weeks later
"Please, tell me you two are staying out of trouble." You begged, holding the phone between your ear and shoulder.
"Why do you say it like that?" Eddie questioned you.
"Because trouble follows you like a child follows their parent." You said, leaning back against the bathtub.
"Untrue."
"Kinda isn't, sweetheart." You said, brushing hair off your face.
"Babe, where are you? You're coming through all weird."Eddie questioned you.
"I'm in the bathroom." You said before gagging.
"Y/N?"
"Morsel?"
"I'm good. I'm fine. False alarm." You sighed, falling back into the tub.
"Y/N, are you alright? Do you need us to come home?" Eddie panicked.
"I'm fine. I think dinner last night wasn't cooked properly. You two stay where you are. Finish your expose. I'll be fine." You promised.
"Y/N, I don't like the idea of you being sick and on your own." Eddie sighed.
"It's just food poisoning, Eddie." You reminded the man. "And I kinda feel better now."
"Y/N."
"No, seriously, I think that was the last of it." You told him honestly.
"Look, if it gets worse, promise me you'll call Dan."
"Eddie,"
"Please, Y/N." Eddie cut you off. "For us?"
"We don't like you sick, morsel." Venom added.
"Okay, okay, fine. If I feel any worse, I'll call Dan." You promised. "Thank you," Eddie said before there was another voice on his end. "Shit, that's my lead."
"Go. Take down criminals one word at a time." You told the man.
"Love you, babe. Get better soon." Eddie said.
"Love you two, too." You said before the call ended.
You stayed on the floor for a minute before eventually dragging yourself to your feet.
"No, don't throw up." You said, holding your hand over your mouth as your stomach tossed uncomfortably. "Oh, thank God." You sighed when whatever was left in your stomach stayed there.
You dragged your feet throughout the apartment until you made it into the kitchen.
"Tea is good." You mumbled to yourself. "Tea will settle my stomach." You said, moving to the kettle.
Before you could even touch the kettle, you heard a crashing outside your door followed by several screams.
Your eyes widened as you dashed for the bedroom and your phone.
You had just grabbed your phone when you heard your own front door smash open.
There was a clatter that was soon followed by a hissing sound.
"Shit." You swore, pulling your shirt over your nose.
You scrambled towards the bathroom as the sounds of people followed you.
You slammed the door closed and rushed to lock it just as you caught sight of a man coming towards you.
"Shit. Shit. Shit." You chanted as you crawled into the furthest corner from the door.
Your hands shook as you tried to quickly dial Eddie.
"Hey, babe, sorry, kinda busy right now," Eddie started as he picked up.
"Eddie! Someone's here!" You cut him off.
"What?"
"I can't get out! I'm in the bathroom, but they saw me! They're trying to break down the door."
"Shit. Okay, we're on our way." Eddie told you. "Talk to us, Y/N."
"The door's going to break." You said as gas began to come under the door. "Oh, no."
"Y/N? Y/N, what? Talk to us."
"There's gas coming under the bathroom door." You said, causing Eddie to lapse into a stunned silence.
"What does it smell like, Y/N?" Eddie demanded, his voice melding with Venom's.
"I don't know, um not like kitchen gas. It's sweeter. Really sweet." You coughed, holding your shirt tighter over your nose.
"Shit, okay. Y/N, we are coming. Just stay on the line." Eddie said as you lay on the ground.
"I don't feel so good." You murmured as your eyes got heavier.
Venom let out a growl that you swore shook the phone in your hand.
"We're coming, morsel." Venom promised you.
"Hm." You hummed as the phone slipped out of your fingers.
There was a lot of noise around you. You knew you could hear Eddie and Venom yelling for you, but you could also hear the door finally giving way.
"Y/N?" Your boys exclaimed as your phone was plucked from the ground.
"Get her out of here. I want to be out of here before the creature arrives." A man said before throwing your phone to the side.
He was wearing a mask. The man and the people with him were all wearing masks that filter the air.
As three men came towards you, you raised your hand weakly to defend yourself before your arm fell back to the ground.
Your body felt too heavy now to function. Your eyes were closing against your will.
And the last thing you heard before your eyes closed and refused to reopen was Eddie and Venom yelling your name.
You knew before you even opened your eyes that you weren't home.
You didn't remember right away what had just happened, but you could tell something had happened.
It was the bedsheets underneath you, the beeping at your ear, and the chemical smell of sterility that gave it away.
Slowly you opened your eyes to find yourself in a hospital.
For a second, you found yourself relaxing until you noticed the handcuff connecting you to the bed.
"What the?" You started, instinctively yanking your wrist.
"Careful, you'll pull your IV out." A voice said, causing your head to snap to the doorway. "And I wouldn't be the most careful putting it back in."
"Where am I?" You demanded.
"In a safe place." The man said, walking towards you. "Safest place a woman like you could be."
"You kidnapped me." You said, narrowing your eyes at him.
"We don't like to use that word. We prefer collecting our assets." He told you, sitting in the chair to your left.
"If you're going to kill me, just know it'll end with you dead." You threatened.
"Rest assured, I'm not going to kill you. I don't doubt that the thing you sleep with, or the reporter who hides him, would hesitate to kill me. But that would only be if they found you." The man smirked.
Your voice catches in your throat.
You could count the number of people on one hand who knew about Eddie and Venom.
And this wasn't Anne or Dan, which only left,
"The Life Foundation was destroyed." You said.
"Companies don't just die because their CEO does." The man shook his head. "We've just been waiting in the wings. We've been watching the three of you for the last month."
"Why?" You asked despite knowing it was a stupid question.
"We want our property back." The man told you.
"He isn't yours." You snapped, glaring at the stranger.
"I think you'll find that creature is ours." He chuckled.
"When he finds me here, he's gonna rip your head off. Especially if he finds out you've hurt me." You told the man.
"You misunderstand. Yes, it is our property, but that thing inside you is too. We don't need it right now when we have you." The man told you.
"What?" Your blood froze. You couldn't have heard what you did, and even if you had, this man could be right.
"You didn't know? That thing you have to audacity to say you love impregnated you." The man told you with a smirk. "Surprise."
"I'm not pregnant." You denied, shaking your head.
"We've been watching for a long time, Miss L/N." The man reminded you. "Two weeks ago, you, Mr Brock, and the creature had intercourse in a hotel. We tracked the odd symptoms you've shown since that night and were able to get a positive pregnancy test from you."
"You stole my pee?" You asked incredulously, causing the man to laugh.
"No, but you shouldn't leave water bottles lying around." He explained. "We've concluded that whatever is inside your uterus is growing faster than a normal baby would. We want to study new this hybrid version of the symbiote."
"Over my dead body." You snapped, remembering Venom's stories of time at the life foundation. "You can't keep me here."
"We can, and we are." He said, rising to a stand. "You'll be well treated, as a guest, if you will, but you can't leave. You should prepare yourself. We have several tests we'd like to begin now." You were told before the man left the room.
"Oh my God." You gasped once you were alone. "Oh my God." You repeated, pulling your knees to your chest.
Pregnant. You were pregnant with Eddie and Venom's baby. And you hadn't even been the first to find out.
You had been trapped in this place for almost two weeks now.
You're not specifically given the time anymore, but you've learned the basic routine of this place.
The lights come on bright and early, and before you're even half awake, a nurse and two security guards are 'escorting' you into a 'doctor's office.'
And every day, it's the same. One of the many 'doctors' take vials of your blood, take your blood pressure, and you're given an ultrasound.
The doctors monitor your baby's rapid growth and always ask seemingly polite questions to you.
"And how do we feel today?"
"Do we feel any movement yet?"
"How's the morning sickness?"
But you know they're not asking to help you. It's all for their research.
All these doctors, nurses, and scientists want is your unborn baby.
The baby that you didn't even know was growing before and was now making their existence well known.
You were supposed to be four weeks pregnant, but the doctors said the baby had already grown to what they would expect of a sixteen-week old fetus.
The guards had stopped handcuffing you to the bed three days into your stay, assuming you to be not a threat to anyone.
But your door was always locked, and they were no windows in either the room or adjoining bathroom.
You were trapped, and this was your cage.
The lights had turned off what must have been hours ago, but you were still awake and not for normal reasons tonight.
Tonight you were stuck on the floor of the bathroom, unable to stop the churning of your stomach.
"Ugh, I thought you were supposed to stop making me sick now." You groaned, holding your head above the toilet. "You know, baby, I'm already going through hell. I don't need you adding to it."
With a sigh, you pushed yourself away from the toilet but stayed on the floor.
"Oh, I'm sorry, baby. I know it's not your fault." You said, resting your hand on your stomach. "You know, I was not expecting you. Not yet, at least, baby. But, baby, I hope you know I'm not mad you're here. In fact, I'm really excited to meet you.
And I know that your dads are going to be happy you're here too, you know, once we get out of here and take a second to readjust." You told your stomach. "I'm not going to let them take you, baby. If your dads can't find us, I'm gonna figure a way out of here. You'll see, I promise."
"What is going on here?" The man who'd you'd spoken to on your first day demanded as he stormed into your bedroom.
But you could barely hear the man over the pain your body was in.
"The asset is getting weaker, sir." One of the doctors told the man.
"What? Why?" Your kidnapper demanded.
"It seems the fetus is taking nutrients from the asset. The fetus might not be compatible with her." The doctor admitted. "We may have to abort."
"No. You're not aborting anything."
"But sir,"
"I said no. We proceed as planned." The man said, turning to face you. "I've already got enough problems, and you just have to contribute."
"Oh, I'm sorry for not making it easier for you to experiment on me and my unborn child." You panted.
"Shut up."
"Let me guess, Venom and Eddie are causing you trouble?" You asked before going into a coughing fit. "I told you, they'd find us."
"I don't care what happens to her. Just make sure my symbiote lives." The man said before spinning on his heels and storming away.
"They're coming for us." You called as loudly as you could. "And then you'll be sorry."
"She is dying, sir!"
"She is not what I want."
"If she dies, then I fear so will the fetus."
Your kidnapper and his doctors had been arguing outside your room for what must have been hours.
The doctors believed that keeping this baby would only end in your death and were firmly abdicating for an immediate abortion.
But your kidnapper refused.
"Then find a way to keep it alive!"
"Sorry that I'm not a strong enough host, baby." You hummed weakly. "I'm trying my best." You added before the room turned red and sirens blared out.
"He's here!"
"Get every man down here and armed!"
"Squadron four isn't responding!"
"Three's down!"
There was so much noise going on around you, you couldn't focus on one conversation, but you knew one thing.
Your boys were here.
With a grunt, you forced yourself to stumble off the bed, your feet unstable underneath you.
"Wall's good. Wall's good." You mumbled, holding onto the wall as you got closer to the door.
A wave of dizziness passed over you, and you fell to your knees.
Your eyes rolled back in your head as you fell onto your side.
"Eddie." You mumbled weakly. "Venom."
For a second, the world went silent.
As you debated whether the chaos had ended or if you had finally passed into unconsciousness until the door broke down.
You knew it was Venom before he even knelt down beside you.
"Hm, hey, Vee." You whispered as Venom cupped your face.
"Y/N. You are hurt. You smell hurt. Eddie, why does she smell hurt?" Venom asked, allowing Eddie to come out.
"Oh, Y/N, hey, hi," Eddie said, brushing hair off your face. "You're alive. You're okay. Oh, that's a baby bump." Eddie said, staring at your stomach.
"Surprise." You whispered, your eyes beginning to close. "Sorry, but I don't think I'm strong enough for them."
"No! You are!" Venom snapped, suddenly appearing again. "You need more."
"More? More what, bud?" Eddie asked before Venom climbed out of him and seeped into you. "Vee? Bud, stop. You're going to hurt her."
"No. I'm not." Venom's voice came out your mouth. "We just need a moment."
In the time you'd known Venom, you'd only housed him twice before when he and Eddie had gotten into fights.
The feeling of Venom moving within you wasn't new, but him going to the womb that housed your baby was.
Just need more strength. Venom told you as he wrapped around the baby.
They said I'm not compatible with the baby, Vee. You told the symbiote.
Nonsense. You are our spawn's mother. They just did not know what you needed. Venom told you as you began to feel stronger. This will have to do for now.
Venom crawled out of your skin before rejoining with Eddie.
"We have to get out of here." Venom said, taking you into his arms. "Get away and safe." He told you before rushing out of the room.
As you, Eddie and Venom rushed out of your prison, you found your eyes closing.
You were finally free. You were finally safe.
"This is Dan's place," Eddie told you once Venom gave him control. "He offered to let us use it, and I thought it'd be safer than going back to the apartment."
"We'll have to thank, Dan." You said, sitting on the closest couch.
"Yeah, we'll have to get to that," Eddie said, watching you. "So, how long were you hiding that one?" He nodded to your stomach.
"You think I'd hide this from you?"
"No. No, no, I just don't remember you having a bump like that two weeks ago." Eddie stuttered, coming to your side.
"Eddie, I'm only four weeks pregnant." You admitted.
"They don't usually look like that at four weeks, do they?"
"Our spawn grows quickly." Venom purred, moving his head towards your stomach.
"Those doctors think every week is worth four weeks of the baby's development." You told the two. "Look, I know this is a shock, trust me, it was a shock to me too, and I know we haven't exactly discussed kids, but,"
"Babe, babe, babe, slow down," Eddie said, taking your hands. "I know we probably should have talked about this sooner, but I want this. If the baby isn't going to hurt you, and you want this too, that is."
"Our spawn did not mean to hurt you morsel." Venom promised. "Our spawn needs nutrients like we do."
"I am not eating anyone's head." You denied immediately.
"We'll figure something out," Eddie promised you. "In the meantime, maybe we call Dan and get him to give you a once over." He suggested.
"Too soon, Eddie." You shook your head. "Let me take a shower, get in some real clothes, and sleep beside the two of you, and we'll revisit that."
"Whatever you need, Y/N."
"Including whatever organs you or our spawn need."
"Vee."
"No organs."

Venom x reader x Eddie
Eddie attracted the strange and unusual. First, he had brought Venom into his life and not too long after that, Eddie met Y/N.
On the outside, Y/N appeared to be just like everyone else, but she was hiding a secret side just like Eddie.
Y/N was a dragon shifter.
And yet, Eddie didn't care. He accepted Y/N just as he had with Venom.
The three had been together almost two years now. And Eddie had learned a lot about his partners.
Venom could smell chocolate a mile away.
Y/N's scales shed every four months, and her kind gifted scales to their lovers.
Venom and Y/N both loved animals, hence why the three had to move into a larger home just for the animals they collected.
And both Eddie's partners were hoarders.
Severe hoarders.
But it was just one of the many things Eddie learned to live with and came to love about the two.
"Who's a good boy? Rex is. That's right, Rex is a good boy." You cooed, scratching the pig's belly.
"Nibble! We're home!" Venom called as he descended from the skylight with two chickens under his arms.
"Hi, hon. Who are your new friends?" You asked as Venom set the chickens on the ground.
"Marvin and Tammi." Venom told you, sitting on the floor. "Sonny, Cher, Marie and Per wanted friends."
"Oh, did they?" You raised a brow at the symbiote. "I'm cool with the chickens, free eggs and all that, but did you ask Eddie about this?"
"We do not need to ask Eddie for more pets." Venom pouted, grinning as Rex and the chickens interacted.
"We already have five farm animals, and we didn't ask him for any of them. It might be a good idea to get his opinion on Marvin and Tammi." You told Venom.
"Fine." Venom sighed before receding, so his head was coming from Eddie's neck.
"You're a liar. I fucking told you we didn't need any more chickens." Was the first thing out of Eddie's mouth.
"But Eddie!"
"But Vee." Eddie mocked. "We don't need any more animals, bud. Unless you're willing to eat either the chickens,"
"Never!"
"Or Rex,"
"You shut your mouth, Brock." You gasped, pulling the pig towards yourself.
"We don't have enough room." Eddie finished.
"Hon, the chicken room had more than enough space for two more hens." You told the man.
"Babe, you're supposed to be on my side," Eddie said, pointing an accusing finger at you.
"Don't be like that, Eddie." You smirked. "It's not like we don't get anything from the chickens." You pointed out. "You enjoy your omelettes as much as the rest of us do."
"Yes!" Venom exclaimed. "Eddie, see? The chickens are useful."
"Vee, you don't even clean up after any of the animals you've brought home." Eddie sighed.
"But we can. Please, Eddie?" Venom begged, giving Eddie his best puppy dog eyes.
"Fine! But this is it." Eddie warned the two of you. "No more farm animals in this house, okay? Only the chickens and Rex." Eddie said.
"Fine." Venom pouted.
"I don't understand why you have to keep so many animals, Vee." Eddie sighed.
"They are good. Not bad like people." Venom said as he reached a tendril to stroke the chicken's feathers.
"That's really sweet, Vee." You smiled.
"Fine, but I mean it when I say that this is it. Six chickens, one pig, nothing more." Eddie told the symbiote.
"We promise Eddie."
Two weeks later
"Damnit, what did I say?"
"But, Eddie, Rex is lonely!"
You were an unusual dragon because you had two hoards.
One of your hoards was something that your family had kept safe since the 1400s.
One of your long-dead ancestors had started hoarding gold coins and other shiny treasures when he was young.
Before he passed over, he gifted his treasure down to firstborn.
And this tradition continued throughout the centuries until it came under your protection.
The original pile of treasure had decreased over the centuries because of your relatives trading coins in for the currency of the time. Something you yourself had done.
But your real hoard was something you were incredibly proud of.
Ever since you were young, you had hoarded blankets.
Well, blankets and anything that felt soft and smelt of home. Blankets, pillows, items of clothing, you hoarded it all.
It started when you were a child, refusing to give up your favourite blankets and things that smelt of your parents, and it continued into your adulthood.
"Babes, I'm home." You called upon entering your home.
"Y/N, you're home, fantastic." Eddie sighed, rushing towards you. "Do you know where the laundry basket is?"
"How lovely, Brock. My day was good. How was yours?" You rolled your eyes.
"Eddie, why are you so rude?" Venom demanded of his host.
"Sorry, Y/N. I didn't mean it to come out like that." Eddie promised, moving over towards you and pulling you into a kiss. "I love you, and I would love to hear about your day, but I'm late for an interview, and I can't find any of my good shirts." He explained to you.
"Well, they wouldn't be in the laundry basket. You haven't worn any in the last week." You told the man.
"We told you!"
"Damn it! Then where are they all?" Eddie scratched his head.
"I have no idea." You shrugged. "Nope. Don't know where any of them could be." You told him.
"Y/N."
"Nibble."
"What? There's nothing to say here, you two." You said before attempting to rush past the two, only for Venom to grab you with his tendrils.
"You are not a good liar, nibble."
"What do you mean? Why do you think I'm lying?"
"Y/N." Eddie rose a brow. "Where are my good shirts?" He asked, staring you directly in the eyes.
"I might have hoarded them." You admitted to the man.
"I told you, Vee!"
"No, you did not!"
"Y/N, babe, please, I need one of those shirts," Eddie begged you.
"Fine." You sighed heavily. "Which one do want?"
"One? How many have you taken?" Eddie questioned you.
"Oh, Eddie. When was the last time you saw my hoard room?" You asked. "C'mon." You said before nodding your head towards the room.
Your hoard room was very well organised despite what others might think.
Your family's hoard was carefully sorted into chest's in the corner of the room, and your personal hoard was sorted into groups along the walls.
"Oh, God, Y/N. How much of my clothing have you taken?" Eddie asked, looking around the room.
"Only the stuff you never wear anymore." You shrugged, moving towards Eddie's section. "And considering you mostly wear Vee as a shirt out in public, it's quite a lot."
"It's just easier."
"We are better at covering Eddie."
"That's true, but to tell you the truth, I like him uncovered." You smirked, causing Eddie to groan as Venom chuckled.
"Y/N, hon."
"I know, time crunch." You said before pulling out a button-up shirt. "Voila!"
"Thank you." Eddie sighed, rushing forward and kissing your cheek before trying to take the shirt from your hands. "Y/N," Eddie said when you refused to let go of the fabric.
"Just, just bring it back, please." You sighed before letting go of the shirt.
"You know it's my shirt, right?" Eddie teased.
"Please, you gave up all rights to your clothing when we started dating." You told the man.
"Yeah, you're right. I'll be back in two hours. Your shirt will be back in your hoard by then." Eddie promised, kissing you once more before running off.
"It better be."
Eddie hadn't introduced you to Venom until six months into your relationship. And even then, he hadn't meant for the two of you to meet yet.
You'd gone to Eddie's apartment to surprise him one night and had seen Eddie arguing with Venom.
Realistically it made sense. You hadn't told Eddie your secret before that either because you weren't sure if you could trust him.
But that night, secrets came out, and you met Venom.
And that was probably the worst thing to happen to Eddie.
You and Venom had bonded instantly. The two of you liked to cause trouble, you were both hoarders, and the two of you liked Eddie.
"Vee, we gotta get going." Eddie sighed as he attempted to pull himself out from underneath the symbiote.
"No." Venom refused, further spreading across the man and the bed.
"Bud, we got things to do today." Eddie groaned, attempting to roll away from Venom.
"No. We stay here today." Venom declared.
"Y/N, please talk some sense into Vee." Eddie pleaded when he saw you standing in the doorframe.
"I think we're hearing different conversations, Eddie because Vee's making perfect sense to me." You smirked.
"Y/N." Eddie groaned.
"See, Eddie? Y/N thinks this is a good idea." Venom smirked before snaking one of his tendrils towards you and tugging you onto the bed.
"No. Y/N. Vee. I have things to do today." Eddie sighed, still struggling to get up. "I'm meeting someone for an interview in an hour. I have to get going."
"No, I think today's a stay home day." You said, lying comfortably next to Eddie with Venom atop you.
"We like the way you think, nibble." Venom grinned before licking a stripe down your cheek. "It's a bed day, Eddie."
"No, it's not," Eddie grunted before crawling out from underneath the symbiote. "I have work to do today. As much as we'd all like to never have to do anything, we do. I can't stay here because the two of you don't want me to leave."
"I mean, you can stay here." You told the man. "You just don't want to."
"Why does Eddie not want to stay with us, nibble?" Venom asked you.
"No, it's not like that, bud." Eddie sighed. "You know, if you want to stay home today, you could stay with Y/N."
"Honey, that would leave you unprotected, and you get into enough trouble without us." You pointed out.
"That would not be safe." Venom agreed. "Stay with us." Venom said, pulling Eddie back to bed.
"You know that you're hoarding me, right?" Eddie sighed, giving up against the fight.
"Are you against us wanting to keep you all for ourselves?" You asked, raising a brow.
"Not as much as I should be." Eddie said, settling as you laid on his chest, and Venom covered the two of you.
You and Venom were hoarders. There was no doubt about it. The two of you hoarded animals, clothes, and Eddie.
But Eddie didn't have a problem with it. As much as he liked to complain.

Venemous
Team x reader
Bold Italics is Venom speaking in your head.
Bold is Venom speaking aloud.
Italics is the reader thinking.
Underlined is signed
It had been well over a year since you had met all six of your soulmates.
A year since the eight of you had met and since you had all accepted one another.
And ever since the eight of you had accepted your pasts and your presents, things had fallen into place.
You and Venom no longer resided in your own room anymore. It was still there for when the two of you needed a bit of space, but now you mainly slept in the group room.
With a bed that was the size of your old apartment's bedroom, there was more than enough space for the two of you to join the six you loved.
It had also been a year since you and Venom officially joined the Avengers.
Of course, not everyone was okay with this decision.
Many of New York still saw the two of you as the 'Demon of New York', not all of SHIELD could tolerate the two of you, and of course, there was Ross.
General Ross had been a thorn in the side's of your soulmates ever since they refused to sign his accords, and now he was coming after you and Venom.
He didn't know that you hosted Venom, of course, but he knew that someone did, and he was gunning for their identity.
"Boss, the Number One Asshole is here," FRIDAY announced as the eight of you were lounging in the living room.
"I can't believe you made her call Ross that." Steve sighed, shaking his head at Tony.
"Made her?" Tony scoffed. "Please, FRI chose that nickname all on her own."
"Aw, she's taking after, daddy dearest," Clint smirked, shifting his head on your lap.
"We're getting back to that nickname later, hawkass," Tony promised. "Tell the jackass to get out of here, baby girl," Tony told FRIDAY.
"Already have, boss. Unfortunately, he says that you either let him in now, or he comes back with a warrant."
"I'd like to see him try." Tony scoffed.
"Do you want us to eat him?" Venom asked from where he was curled around you and Clint.
"Not this time, bud," Bruce said before Tony could respond.
"We'll keep that on the backburner for now," Tony added, causing Bruce to lightly hit his shoulder.
"We might as well let him in now, Tones," Natasha spoke up. "It'll be more trouble if he comes back." She reminded him.
"Fine. FRI, send Ross into the first meeting room." Tony told the AI.
"Can do, boss."
"Let's get this over with," Steve said, moving out of Thor's lap.
"I'm coming with you." You said as Clint sat up. "Someone's got to make sure Ross doesn't get electrocuted this time." You added, nodding over at Thor, who smirked at the memory.
"If you remember correctly, my bolt missed Ross by two feet," Thor said, his eyes dancing with mischief.
"Let's try to keep it that way."
"Aren't you forgetting something, Y/N?" Bruce asked as you stood.
"We're wearing pants. We have a bra on. I don't think so." You shook your head after going through your checklist. "Do we have a hickey?"
"Always, sweetcheeks." Tony winked.
"Vee?" Bruce reminded you.
"Oh, yeah. Probably don't want Ross seeing him." You nodded.
"Why not? We could make him piss his pants." Venom said, causing Clint, Thor and Tony to laugh as Natasha smirked and Bruce and Steve shook their heads.
"That's a lovely idea, Vee, but maybe next time," Natasha said to him. "We need to keep him on our side."
"At least until there are no repercussions," Tony muttered.
"Fine. Got to hide now, bud." You gently told the symbiote.
"Fine." Venom grumbled. "But I'm not happy about this."
"I know, bud. I'll make it up to you later." You said as he receded into your body. "Alright, let's not keep the jackass waiting."
"Avengers." Ross greeted as you all entered the meeting room before narrowing his eyes at you. "I'm sorry, young lady, this is an Avengers only meeting," Ross told you.
"Technically, this isn't a meeting. It was never scheduled." Steve said, crossing his arms.
"And you are in our home, Ross," Tony added. "Y/N's home. Besides, we'd tell her whatever you have to say later anyway."
"Very well." Ross smiled painfully. "I'll get straight to the point. I need the identity of the demon."
"You're not going to have it," Clint responded immediately.
"It is time to stop pretending that your little 'friend' is above the law. He is a killer and whoever is harbouring him is also a fugitive."
"Venom was pardoned by the government," Natasha said, her face blank. "His past actions have been rewritten by those same men."
"For the public, yes." Ross shook his head. "But we know the truth. We know that monster killed has killed before, and even now on your team, he still kills."
"He kills HYDRA agents. And terrorists." You couldn't help yourself from chiming in. "Doesn't that make him a good guy?" You asked, trying to seem unknowing and innocent.
"Murder can never be justified, young lady."
"Oh yeah, that's why you send thousands of men onto battlefields against the same terrorists." Tony rolled his eyes. "Give it up, Ross. You don't care who lives and dies at the end of the day. As long as you get what you want."
"You insult me, Stark."
"And you insult us by assuming we would turn against a team member," Natasha told the man. "You won't be getting Venom's identity or anything on him from us."
"Think this through, Romanoff," Ross warned.
"We already have," Thor said, crossing his arms over his chest. "I believe it's time you left."
"Excellent idea, sweetheart. FRIDAY, show the General out." Tony demanded.
"Of course, boss."
"Fine. This meeting's over, for now." Ross said before turning on his heel and storming out of the room.
"FRIDAY, sweep this room for bugs and hidden cameras."
"Already on it."
Without saying a word, in case of bugs, you quietly stormed out of the room, Venom's rage and yours morphing.
"Y/N, Vee, breathe," Natasha said as she and the team followed after you.
"We are breathing." The two of you hissed, finally storming back into the living room.
"Can we rip his head off now?" Venom asked, fully morphing at your side as you began to pace.
"That would only serve to make him smug, Vee. He'd think we're even more a monster." You snarled, cracking your neck. "Does he think the people we kill deserve to live?"
"They're bad people!"
"The last person we ate killed a dozen children! Does Ross think people like that deserve anything less?"
"No!"
"And we don't always eat people! We eat animal organs, and tater tots, and chocolate! We don't just eat people!"
"Y/N, Venom, please," Thor said, stopping your pacing when he stood in front of you. "We need the two of you to breathe for a moment."
"We are breathing."
"We are breathing."
"No, you are not," Thor said firmly. "The two of you are panicking, but you need not fear. Ross does not know the two of you are one."
"He wants us, Thor. He wants to take Venom. He wants to hurt him."
"And he's not going to," Steve promised, stepping forward. "Ross is not going to find out about Venom, and he's not going to take him from you."
"Ross will try to hurt Y/N. We must get him." Venom snarled.
"He's not going to hurt Y/N," Bruce promised the symbiote. "This compound is one of the most secure places on Earth. It would take an incredible amount of stealth and skill to break in here and hurt anyone."
"And even if Ross did manage to get in here, he would have to get past the entire Avengers team," Clint added.
"Give Ross a week, and he'll switch to another vendetta against someone else," Natasha told you. "He just needs someone to focus on for a minute before he gets bored."
"But one day, he'll remember." You shook your head. "One day, he'll remember how much he wants Venom, and he'll be in danger all over again."
"Y/N, Ross is not going to hurt either of you," Tony promised. "You are safe with us, and Ross doesn't know who you really are."
"Not yet." You sighed with a shake of your head. "We need some space. Just for a little." You told your soulmates.
"Alright. We're here when you're ready for us."
"I love you."
"We know."
"And we love you too."
Ross didn't leave Venom alone. He kept coming to the compound, demanding the team tell him Venom's location, any hiding him, hell, he even went to Fury give the two of you up.
For the last two weeks, you and Venom had done your best to stay under the radar.
You hadn't gone on any missions, you refused to patrol, and neither of you had left the compound since Ross's vendetta went into overdrive.
"Sweetheart, me and Tony are going to take Thor shopping. Do you two want to come?" Natasha asked as she entered your office, where you sat behind your desk working on some of your freelance editings.
"No, thanks, Nat." You murmured, not looking away from the screen. "We have a lot of work to get done." You said as Venom opened a new bag of chocolates.
"Y/N, this is ridiculous." Natasha sighed, walking over to the two of you. "Hiding is doing nothing but hurting the two of you."
"No, you know what hurts? Being dissected."
"Loud noises."
"Having a part of you being violently ripped out of you." You shook your head. "I'm not going to risk being found out, Nat. I'm not risking Venom's safety."
"Y/N, all you're achieving by hiding is causing the two of yourselves pain. I know the two of you. I know you both love being outside and going out, especially on patrol. You're not living your life by hiding in this room." She said, rounding your desk and depositing herself onto your lap. "We understand the both of you are scared, but there's no need to be. We're not going to let Ross hurt either of you."
"You can't be everywhere at once, Tash." You sighed. "No one can be."
"No, we can't." Natasha agreed. "But that doesn't mean we're going to let anything happen to you. To either of you." Natasha said, one hand resting on your cheek and her other reaching out to take one of Venom's tendrils.
Bud?
They have never lied to us before, Y/N. And we are strong.
I don't want you to get hurt again, sweetheart.
We will be fine. We are strong. Our nest is strong. Venom promised you.
"Alright." You spoke aloud. "We'll try not to hide away anymore."
"Thank you." Natasha smiled, leaning down to kiss you. "Now, do you want to come shopping with us?"
"Hm, come shopping and watch Thor try on a bunch of clothes, that knowing Tony will be incredibly tight? Yes, yes we would." You grinned.
"Miss L/N, Mr Brock is waiting in the lobby," FRIDAY announced as you rushed around the bedroom trying to find your purse.
"Send him up, please, FRIDAY." You said, crouching to look under the bed.
"I'm really proud of you, Y/N," Steve said as he helped you look. "You're going out without fear again."
"Well, Ross has gone quiet, I haven't seen Eddie since I moved here, and it's not good for either of us to stay inside all day." You said. "Damn it, you sure there's nothing under here, Vee?"
"My chocolate stash," Venom mentioned as he pulled his tendril out from under the bed, clutching onto a bar of chocolate.
"How the hell did I lose my purse?" You sighed, rising to a stand.
"Because you've always been a mess," Eddie announced, entering the room behind Tony.
"Hey, you." You grinned, moving to hug the man. "You look like you're doing good, Eddie. Also," You started before flicking the man's ear.
"Ow, rude," Eddie whined, rubbing his ear.
"Y/N, is this yours or Tasha's?" Steve asked, holding up a handbag.
"Is there a hidden compartment of daggers or handgun's in there?" Tony joked.
"That's mine." You rolled your eyes, taking it out of Steve's hands. "Thank you. Now, are you sure neither of you wants to come out for lunch?"
"We're sure, sweetheart."
"What about the others?" You asked. "We can go to the lab and ask Bruce than the gym and ask Nat, Clint, and Thor."
"Y/N, this your lunch. You three go out and have fun." Tony told you.
"We want a hot chocolate." Venom said, looking at you and Eddie.
"Better get going then. Don't want Venom snacking on your liver." Eddie joked.
"Not funny." You sighed Eddie as Venom looked sad, and Tony and Steve glowered. "Don't think about it, sweetheart." You told Venom as you gave your boys goodbye kisses. "We'll be home later."
"Have fun, doll." Steve smiled.
"Don't do anything I wouldn't." Tony joked.
"There's not a lot on that list, babe." You pointed out. "Love you." You called, walking out with Eddie.
"Oh, hey, did you hear? Annie and Dan got engaged." Eddie said as the two of you drove back to the compound.
"Oh, seriously? I gotta check my social media more often." You said as Venom guzzled down another hot chocolate.
"Do we have any chocolates in the car?" Venom asked
"Try the glovebox. Also, try and keep down, sweetheart. Who knows if Ross has access to street cameras." You sighed.
"Is this Ross guy really someone to be worried about?" Eddie wondered.
"Well, he's got more power than Drake did." You told him. "He's got a vendetta against supers."
"Did you really just quote the Incredibles?"
"What term do you want me to use?" You raised a brow. "He doesn't like any of us. Ross tried to get Spider-Man arrested last month."
"Okay, why don't we just do what we did with Drake? An expose to end all exposes." Eddie suggested.
"Because we like breathing." You said, causing Venom to laugh as you got closer to the compound.
"Wasn't there someone at the gate when I got here?" Eddie asked as you drove nearer.
"Yeah. And there wasn't a giant hole through it." You breathed as Venom growled loudly.
Venom used a tendril to slam down on your brakes and then undid your seatbelt.
"Bud?" You asked your car door was opened.
"We're faster." He growled before taking over and rushing towards the compound.
It wasn't just you and your soulmates who lived in the compound. There were several recruits, some of the other Avengers chose to live there, and the building was generally occupied by staff Tony had hired.
But because of the holiday season, Tony had put almost all the staff on vacation, the recruits had all travelled home, and even the other Avengers had plans outside the compound.
So, when you barreled into the building, you weren't shocked to not see anybody right away.
Venom rushed through the general parts of the compound and into the private section you shared with your soulmates.
"FRIDAY? Where is everyone?" You demanded when Venom handed back control. "FRIDAY?" You repeated but nothing.
FRIDAY didn't reply.
"Fuck." You cursed before bursting into a sprint and rushing towards Tony's lab.
With FRIDAY not responding, the doors to Tony's lab were easy to pry open with no more than a single grunt.
"Tony?" You yelled, rushing through the lab to where Tony's computer was stored.
Typing in the password, IAMIRONMAN, you found FRIDAY'S backup store and booted her up.
"You there, FRIDAY?" You questioned the screen. "Please, FRIDAY. Please be here." You begged.
"Online, miss," FRIDAY said, causing you to sigh in relief.
"FRIDAY, what happened?" You demanded.
"Before I was put offline, I saw the number one asshole arrive with a slew of vans behind him. They crashed through our gates before my cameras went offline." FRIDAY told you.
"Where are the team? What happened to my soulmates?" You asked thUnfortunatelytunatly, I was not online at the time." FRIDAY said.
A growl escaped your lips as you slammed your hands down on the desk.
"Fuck." You snarled, your voice meshing with Venoms'.
"But I do have access to the data currently being produced by boss's watch," FRIDAY announced.
"Really? Where is his location?" You quickly asked.
"Retrieving," FRIDAY said as Eddie rushed into the lab.
"Oh, good. This is the right room." Eddie puffed. "You could have told me where you were going."
"No time."
"No time."
"Uh-huh. What happened?" Eddie asked.
"Ross took my soulmates." You growled as FRIDAY made a loud beep.
"Location found," FRIDAY announced, pulling up the coordinates on her screen.
"What do we got, sweetheart?" You asked, watching the screen intently.
"That's not that far from here," Eddie said, noting the location.
"No. It's not." You said before turning to leave.
"Y/N, Vee, please think this through," Eddie begged, rushing after you.
"What's there to think about?" You asked, making your way to Natasha's weapons closet. "We get my soulmates back."
"We eat Ross. Everyone wins." Venom agreed as you strapped a gun onto your waist.
"Y/N," Eddie said, grabbing onto your shoulder.
"What?" You demanded, turning to face him.
"Look. The last time you broke into a place, you ended up bound to a symbiote." Eddie reminded you.
"No, that's not true. I've broken into plenty of abandoned places and HYDRA or AIM facilities, and nothing's happened." You told the man.
"Nothing bad to us." Venom licked his lips.
"Y/N, there's something you missed on the lawn," Eddie said, opening his phone before showing you a photo.
There, spray-painted onto the front lawn of the compound, were the words 'Your play, Y/N.'
"He knows." You shook your head. "Okay, bud, new plan. We get our nest back, we beat the living crap out of Ross, and then we eat him."
"Y/N, I have a plan," Eddie announced.
"So do we."
"One that doesn't involve you storming into the building and biting the head off a government figure." Eddie corrected.
Vee?
One minute. Venom growled.
"We're listening."
"This is fucking stupid. Why the hell did we agree to listen to Brock?" You grumbled, walking towards the building.
Because you're a sucker.
"Fuck you." You swore, coming to the door.
When you tried to pull the door open, nothing happened, so you looked up at the camera that was blinking red above you.
"I'm here, Ross! This is what you wanted, right?" You yelled at the camera. "Okay, the door and face us like a man!"
"Take the gun off and surrender." Ross's voice came over the speaker.
"Show us our soulmates before we surrender." You bargained.
"I don't think you're in any position to be bargaining with me, Miss L/N," Ross said.
"Need I remind you that I can rip through this building in a second, killing you and anyone else inside?"
"And risk hurting your soulmates?"
"Please, our instincts are to keep our soulmates safe. We'd save them before ripping your head off your neck." You scoffed. "Tell you what, we'll leave the gun at the door, you show me you haven't killed any of my soulmates, and we'll surrender."
"Weakness."
"Excuse me?"
"You give me your weakness, so I know that you can't renege on your word," Ross demanded.
Are we okay with this?
You said we have to trust Brock.
"Fire." You revealed, picking the lesser of two evils. "We don't like fire." You told him, setting your gun down onto the ground.
"Good job, young lady." Ross mocked as the door buzzed open.
"Jackass." You mumbled, entering the building.
Inside the lobby, several people were milling around, but the one person who caught your attention was the man army tactile gear.
"Ross couldn't face us like a man?" You asked, coming to stand before him.
"Follow me." The man said, ignoring your words entirely.
You and Venom followed behind the man, noting that the further you moved through the building, the sooner the front died and people disappeared.
"So, how many people you got locked up here?" You wondered, looking around the darkened interior. "What? Not going to answer a future inmate?" You joked.
Tough crowd.
I thought it was funny.
"Ah, Miss L/N." Ross greeted, standing in front of a closed door. "We meet again."
"Hm, it only took you breaking into my home and kidnapping my soulmates for us to meet again." You rolled your eyes.
"Well, to be fair, you did hide away from me when you realised I was going to find out your secret," Ross said.
"How did you find out?" You asked the man, crossing your arms.
"There are cameras are all over the world, Y/N. It just takes a little bit of research." He said before opening the door behind him.
"My cage behind there?" You asked, raising a brow.
"Not just yours." He said, walking into the room.
"Move." The soldier behind you demanded, nudging your back.
"Watch it, buddy. Or you'll lose that arm." You snapped before following after Ross.
"Stop one," Ross said, coming to stand in front of a window.
"What did you do?" You demanded, pressing your hands onto the glass.
There, on the other side of the glass, was Thor. He was laid on the floor unconscious, a puddle of drool getting tangled into his hair.
"Nothing."
"How did you knock out a Norse God?" You demanded, tearing your eyes away from the sight before you.
"With a stronger drug than what I used on Banner and Rogers," Ross said, nodding down the hall.
Craning your head, you saw the hall was filled with glass windows, the closest to you showing the same scene before you.
Steve, on the ground, breathing but unconscious.
"It wasn't easy finding a drug that would work on all three, so I had my men just go with the shoot them with darts until they fall method." Ross joked. "But as you can see, everyone is alive and well." He added, continuing down the hall.
"Clint." You breathed, stopping at the window of his cell when you saw him awake, sitting in the corner of his cell glaring at the ground. "Clint." You said, tapping on the window.
"Oh, he hasn't been responding to anyone," Ross commented. "A tad rude, but under the circumstances."
"He doesn't have his hearing aids on, you dick." You snapped, glaring at the man.
"Doesn't matter really, does it?" Ross shrugged before moving down the hallway.
Before you moved to follow, Clint's head rose up, and his eyes widened at the sight of you.
We have a plan. We're going to get everyone out of here. You promised Clint before you were pushed away from his cell.
"Y/N!" Tony exclaimed as you were pushed past his cell. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh, you know, just visiting." You joked.
"You shouldn't be here, Y/N." Tony sighed.
"Neither should you. Don't worry, we're going to get you out of here." You promised before being pushed to keep walking.
You passed an unconscious Bruce's cell as well as a furious Natasha's before you came to one at the end of the hall.
"After you," Ross said as the door slid open. "If you'd be kind enough to stand in the centre, that would be the easiest choice for you." He added as you entered the room.
You moved to stand where Ross had specified when the door slid closed behind you with a hiss.
"So, now what? You keep us in here like glass-encased butterflies?" You asked with a scoff.
"Almost. I think before you press a butterfly into the glass, you have to kill it." Ross said before a ring of fire exploded around you. "And I want to see your other wings first."
Fire! Venom screeched. Danger! Escape! No more plan!
"It's okay, bud." You breathed, watching the flames flicker around you. "It's okay."
"Not really, Miss L/N." Ross chuckled, watching you begin to sweat and shift uncomfortably. "You know, if you'd just given up the devil, I would have killed you much quicker."
"You would've killed me even if I let you take Venom?"
"You housed it. You let it do all those things. You're as much a monster as it is." Ross shrugged.
"Jokes on you, the only monster in this room is you." You snarled. "You attacked my home, you kidnapped The Avengers, my soulmates, all because they wouldn't give us up despite the fact we were pardoned?"
"I don't know how Fury managed to get that pardon, but if I'd had a say, you would have been handed over the same day," Ross admitted.
"Okay, you hate us, you think we're a monster, fine, but you have us now. Let my soulmates go." You demanded of the man.
"See, they'd only come after me if I did that," Ross said. "So, I think they're going to have to stay here."
"They didn't do anything wrong, Ross!" You yelled. "You can't keep innocent people here!"
"Innocent? Ever since your little team was formed, there has only been chaos. No, ever since any of your soulmates entered this world, there has been chaos." Ross snapped. "They're freaks. Gods, monsters, drugged up soldiers, and killers the lot of you."
"We save the world, Ross. We risk our lives to protect the people out there. You can't keep them in here." You tried to reason with the mad man.
"I can do whatever I want. I have the power and the resources to do it." Ross told you. "I almost lost all that because of you, but I didn't. And I'm not going to any time soon."
"You can't handle the threats we fight. People are going to die." You pleaded.
"That's what they do." Ross shrugged your concerns off. "They did it before, and they can do it again."
"You're okay with thousands if not millions of people dying if another New York incident happens?"
"I'd let half the world burn if it meant I got to keep my paycheck."
"Thank you. I think that's all we needed. Was that good enough, Eddie?" You asked loudly before the fire in your cell went out as quickly as it had started.
"What?"
"I think we got more than enough, Y/N. Well done on getting a monologue out of him." Eddie congratulated you over the loudspeaker.
"How did?" Ross started to ask as your cell door was opened.
"You see, you messed with the wrong people." You said, walking out the door, one of your tentacles knocking the guns out of Ross's and his lackey's hands.
"Did you know my original plan was to burst in here and let Venom eat you? But we're not a monster." You said to Ross as Venom grabbed ahold of him and the other man. "But my friend Eddie, he had a better idea. You see this?" You asked, pulling a button off the top of your shirt. "Camera and audio recorder."
"No."
"Yeah. We've been recording. And when FRIDAY back up, bad idea to try and hurt Tony's baby, by the way, she was able to get into your system." You smirked as FRIDAY opened the doors to your soulmates cells.
"Me and my new FRIDAY were having a lot of fun accessing your cameras when she suggested we access your personal files," Eddie spoke. "And I think they'll go well with our footage."
"That's illegal. Against the law. You can't do that." Ross spluttered.
"The thing is, I don't care what you want or think." You said, slowly walking to stand right in front of the red-faced man. "You can come for me all you want, Ross. But you touched my people. You hurt them, and you tried to hurt me, and you tried to hurt Venom. So now, I burn you. I burn you, your reputation and your career to the ground."
"No."
"Yes. This video's been live-streamed to SHIELD and to Fury, he should be here soon. And I'm making sure that a personal copy is sent to your boss but that's just in case he misses it being revealed to the world."
"You'll be revealing yourself to the world. You and that monster are on it as well." Ross tried to reason with you.
"That's the thing, isn't it? I won't be, because I'm a great editor. And I'm friends with all the right reporters." You smirked as Natasha, Clint and Tony came to stand at your side. "Now I think the nice thing to do would be to ensure that Fury can collect you easily, don't you think, bud?" You asked as Venom's head materialised beside yours.
"Are you sure we can't play?" Venom asked, licking the side of Ross's face, causing him to pale.
"I'm sure, sweetheart. Because we're good." You said.
"We are." Venom agreed before throwing the secretary and his man into a cell that FRIDAY quickly locked behind them.
"How are our drugged up babies?" You asked, exiting the bathroom, drying your hair with one hand.
"Still high." Natasha said, a fond smile on her face as she gazed down at the drowsy men on the bed. "But they're sleeping it off."
"Good." You smiled, sitting on the end of the bed.
"FRIDAY's back online." Tony said, pushing his laptop to the side. "Not a single line of code out of place." He sighed in relief.
"That's good. Maybe now I can introduce her properly to Eddie." You joked.
"I know we've already said it, but thank you for coming to our rescue today." Natasha said, taking your hand in her own.
"It was terrifying but watching you turn on the tables on Ross, that was sexy, babe." Clint grinned from where he leaned against Tony.
"It was kind of fun. More fun than just eating him." You smiled.
"I still think we should have taken an arm." Venom purred, his tendrils circling the bed and draping over all the occupants.
"I think you could have gotten away with it." Tony volunteered.
"Probably, but this was the better way. Hurting him, or even killing him, would have just proved his point." You said. "This way, he lives with the knowledge we could have but spared him."
"He'll hate that." Clint hummed. "That'll eat at him for the rest of his life."
"Yeah. I think I like that better."
"He'll never forget us now."
"No, and he's never coming after you again. He can't reach either of you in that cell." Natasha told you.
"And he can't touch any of my people I think that's more what I'm happy about." You told her, smiling at the people around you.
Your love for the people in your life, your friends, your soulmates, and Venom burned brightly.
But when someone hurt any one of them, you turned venomous.

Celebrations
Eddie x reader x Venom
Venom thinking.
Venom speaking aloud.
Venom didn't understand the concept of Earth's holidays.
He didn't understand why Earth and its inhabitants celebrated the strangest of things.
He didn't understand men rising from tombs, the dead reanimating, rabbits who gifted their young in chocolate form, or even days of birth.
It wasn't done where he came from, and before coming to Earth, in his words, he didn't know there were things to celebrate.
You and Eddie had, of course, grown up on Earth and had celebrated hundreds of holidays throughout the years.
And the two of you were more than ready to teach Venom whatever he wanted to learn about your customs.
"I don't know why you're going to all this trouble, Y/N." Eddie sighed. "You don't even like being around your brother."
"No, I don't like being around his meth-head wife. And my brother just annoys me with his choices. I happen to like being around my niece and nephews." You corrected your boyfriend as you dipped eggs in blue dye.
"Okay, but that doesn't explain why we're dying dozens of eggs," Eddie said as he set three more eggs to the side to dry.
"Why are we colouring our food now?" Venom curiously asked, his head resting on Eddie's shoulder as he watched the two of you. "Are we doing this with everything now?"
"No, Vee. We're not dying our food." Eddie promised the symbiote.
"I don't think it'd be healthy to ingest that much food dye." You mused.
"But the baby chickens? Why are we colouring them?" Venom wondered before experimentally shooting his tongue out and licking one of the drying pink eggs. "Gross."
"You're not really supposed to eat them, Vee. Well, not the food coloured ones anyway."
"They're for an egg hunt, Vee." You told the symbiote. "We dye them for children to find on Easter."
"What is Easter?" Venom asked, cocking his head.
"Well, it started off as a Pagan holiday celebrating the turning of spring. And then it became about a man who was supposedly the son of God who died and came back to life," Eddie explained. "Now everyone celebrates the holiday, and not many people really care about the origins." He told him.
"Over the years, it's just kind of turned into a day you spoil kids with egg hunts and chocolate eggs." You shrugged.
"Chocolate!" Venom gasped. "Where are these chocolate eggs?"
"I've got a bag of them in the kitchen, Vee." You mentioned. "I'm surprised you haven't found them yet." You said before one of Venom's tentacles shot into the kitchen, causing several things to crash loudly.
"Vee! We would have just walked to the kitchen." Eddie groaned as Venom's tentacle came back into the living room, a bag of Easter candy in hand.
Venom devoured the entirety of the bag in one gulp, chocolate, plastic, wrappers and all.
"These are delicious!" Venom declared. "We must get more! We must get all of these eggs!"
"Sorry, bud, my aunt from Australia sent that bag. I don't have any more." You apologised to the symbiote.
"Oh." Venom pouted, suddenly resembling a kicked puppy.
"We can head out to the store and get some other types." Eddie tried to placate the symbiote.
"There's more than one type?" Venom asked. "We need to try them all!"
"Slow down, Vee." You chuckled. "The Easter eggs are not going anywhere. Besides, I have to finish dying these first." You said, nodding at the eggs before you.
"Excuse me?" Eddie asked, raising a brow at you.
"We have to finish dying these." You corrected yourself, causing the man to smile and nod.
"Which brings me back to my original question. Why are we dying all these eggs for your brothers' kids?" Eddie asked.
"Because if I don't do it, no one else is going to." You told the man. "And those kids deserve to have the holiday everyone else does. With an Easter egg hunt and a coma-inducing amount of sugar."
"Alright." Eddie nodded.
"Alright?"
"Yeah. Let's finish the last carton before we go to the store." Eddie said, causing you to smile.
"We want to dye baby chicken eggs." Venom spoke up. "The faster we finish, the sooner we get more chocolate."
"Thank you, boys." You grinned at the two. "Let's get this finished."
"Eddie! You got a sec?" You called, struggling to keep the front door open long enough for you to walk through.
"Babe, what the hell?" Eddie chuckled, holding the door open before taking some of the many bags from your hands. "You couldn't just put some of these on the ground?" He asked as the two of you entered the kitchen.
"And have someone steal these from me? Never." You said as Venom made his appearance.
"Sweetling." Venom purred, his head rubbing against your cheek. "We smell chocolate." He said as one of his tendrils snaked towards the grocery bags.
"Uh-uh, mister." You scolded, pulling the bags out of his reach. "Half of that is for the trick-or-treaters." You said, moving to stow the bags in an out of the way cupboard.
"Trick-or-treaters?" Venom cocked his head. "What are they?"
"It's mostly children, sometimes teenagers," Eddie mentioned.
"Sometimes fully grown men." You smirked at the reporter, who instantly turned red.
"I told you I didn't want to dress up."
"And yet you did."
"So did you!"
"We still don't understand what trick-or-treaters are." Venom interrupted the two of you. "Are they a different species of human?"
"No, bud, it's just a term for Halloween," Eddie explained to the symbiote.
"Halloween?"
"Yeah, Halloween. It's a night where people dress up in costumes and go door-to-door asking for candy, or they'll trick the house." You smiled.
"No one is going to trick our nest!" Venom hissed, looking at the front door as if it were going to explode.
"Nothing is going to happen to the nest." You promised soothingly, reaching out to grasp his face. "It's just a saying. It's not a threat to us or the nest."
"Besides, bud, that's what the candy is for," Eddie told him.
"How does chocolate equal the safety of the nest?"
"Well, we're kind of bribing the trick-or-treaters." You told him. "We give them chocolates and candies, and they don't prank us."
"Children in costumes come to our nest, demanding sweets or threatening mayhem?" Venom asked, seeking confirmation.
"Yeah. Yeah, that's pretty much Halloween." You said as Eddie nodded.
"I will not eat the sweets. To protect our nest." Venom declared.
"Wow, bud. That's big of you. You rarely even share with us." Eddie said.
"It's very sweet. But not necessary. These two bags are all yours." You said, gesturing to the leftover bags on the counter.
"I love you, Y/N!" Venom exclaimed before gently kissing your cheek and then snaking towards the bags of candies.
"We're not getting any of that, are we?" Eddie sighed, watching as Venom began devouring the sugar sweets.
"No. No chance in hell."
"Lucky for us, Halloween candy goes on sale tomorrow."
"This son of God has a lot of holidays." Venom mused, helping Eddie move the tree around the apartment.
"That's actually a misconception, bud." You said, carrying the box of decorations into the room. "Christmas is actually based on a pagan holiday called Yule. But when Jesus was 'born', people began rejecting the old Gods and holidays, and the Christians of the day took the holiday and renamed it."
"Ah, good old humanity. Find something someone else likes, steal it and call it something else." Eddie joked.
"Yes, unfortunately, that is our history." You sighed, putting the box on the floor. "Eddie, that tree's too big."
"What? No, it's not." Eddie denied.
"It's a good tree, sweetness." Venom agreed with his host.
"It's almost touching the ceiling!"
"Almost, babe. Almost."
"Next year, we're letting the man cut down a tree for us." You sighed, sitting on the edge of the couch.
"I think we did a great job." Venom pouted.
"We did, bud. We did a great job." Eddie consoled the symbiote.
"Oh, great news! My brother cancelled Christmas lunch. Everyone's got the flu." You told Eddie.
"Great! No awkward conversations, no having to hide Vee and more ham for us." Eddie grinned.
"Actually, I don't think any of us are getting any ham at this point." You said, flicking your eyes over to Venom.
"Seriously, Vee?" Eddie sighed. "We only got that yesterday."
"And I was hungry last night." Venom explained.
"The shops are going to be bare by now. We might not be able to get another." You sighed. "Guess we'll have to find something else."
"Don't worry, babe. We'll find us another." Eddie promised, making his way to the front door.
"And where are you going to find us another ham?" You asked, cocking your head.
"I'm not sure yet. But we'll think of something." Eddie shrugged, pulling on his jacket. "We'll be back before the tree's done." He promised, pressing a kiss to your cheek before he and Venom were gone.
Nearly two hours later, the tree was finished, but there was no sign of your boys.
You were just about to head for bed when you heard the familiar sound of a key entering the lock.
"Tree was finished an hour and a half ago." You called, exiting the kitchen. "Bit too slo- why do you have a piglet?" You asked, stopping in your tracks.
"For the Christmas feast!" Venom proclaimed, holding the piglet above his and Eddie's heads.
"I tried to stop him, babe. I really did." Eddie sighed as the piglet squealed.
"Put him down, Vee." You said, watching as Venom immediately complied. The piglet was quick to scamper away from the two and sit in front of you. "Where did you two even find him?" You asked, kneeling in front of the animal.
"I don't even know, Y/N." Eddie shook his head. "The stores were empty, and Vee said he had an idea, so I let him take the lead."
"Vee? Where did you find him?" You asked, raising a brow at the symbiote.
"A slaughterhouse. Some keep live meals." Venom told you.
"Oh, we are not killing a pig in this house." You said as you pat the piglet. "Especially not one who acts like a dog." You added as the piglet rolled onto his back.
"I'll release him in the morning, Y/N," Eddie promised.
"But the feast." Venom whined.
"Not happening." You said, rubbing the piglet's belly. "No. No, it's not." You added, for the pig's sake.
"We're not getting rid of the pig, are we?" Eddie guessed, watching you with the animal.
"His name is Rex, and I love him." You told the man.
"Well, merry Christmas, Y/N. That's your present from us."
Non-reader POV
"Rex, you gotta be quiet." Eddie hushed the pig as it followed him into the kitchen.
"We could just eat him." Venom suggested, licking his lips at the animal.
"No, we can't. Do you want to see Y/N cry?" Eddie asked the symbiote.
"No."
"Right. Leave Rex be." Eddie said, opening the kitchen cabinets. "Shit, where do we put the eggs?" He cursed, quietly moving things around.
"In the fridge, Eddie." Venom sighed, fetching them with a single tentacle. "We don't understand why we can't help cook."
"We talked about this, bud. We gotta be quiet if we want to surprise, Y/N. And when you cook, you tend to be a bit loud." Eddie said, beginning to make scrambled eggs.
"That's not true!" Venom growled.
"Sh!" Eddie hissed, waiting to see if he heard you waking. "That just proves my point," Eddie said when the coast seemed clear.
"Mean." Venom pouted.
"Tell you what, why don't you make Y/N's tea?" Eddie suggested, causing the symbiote to perk up.
"I can do that." Venom insisted. "Love you, Eddie." Venom purred, attempting to kiss Eddie's cheek but leaving behind more slobber than anything else.
As Eddie cooked the scrambled eggs as well as two pounds of bacon, one for himself and Y/N to share and the other for Venom, Venom carefully prepared Y/N's favourite tea in her favourite mug.
"Done." Venom proclaimed, gently placing the mug on the tray.
"Just in time." Eddie said, setting the plates onto the same tray. "Alright, let's do this." He smiled, picking up the tray before he and Venom walked into the bedroom.
Standing in the doorway, Eddie smiled at the sight of Y/N still sound asleep in their bed.
"You want to wake her up, bud?"
"Yes." Venom agreed before expanding over to the bed and hovering above the woman. "Nibble, sweetness, wake up." Venom cooed, lightly dragging his tendrils over her form.
"Hm, what is it, Vee?" Y/N groaned, rolling onto her back and stretching her arms above her head.
"Happy day of being birthed!" Venom cheered, nuzzling her cheek with his face.
"Happy birthday, Y/N." Eddie said, moving closer to the bed.
"Oh, thanks, boys. Is that bacon I smell?" She asked, sitting upright in the bed.
"Bacon, scrambled eggs and,"
"Tea I made." Venom chimed in.
"Oh, what did I ever do to deserve you two?" Y/N asked as Eddie placed the tray onto her lap.
"You don't have to do anything to have us, Y/N." Eddie promised you.
"We're more lucky to have you anyway." Venom shrugged, stealing several slices of bacon off the plate. "I like this celebration. I want bacon for my birthday."
"You can have all the bacon you want, Vee."
"As long as it's not Rex."
"As long as it's not Rex."
