Are you really not nervous for F9? Because I’m getting nervous for F9. I read the nanny article and also got the impression that she didn’t love having a baby so soon since that usually is a death knell for a female character. Michelle’s so outspoken but still F&F writers rarely show more than 2 female characters onscreen. And now Dom has left Letty without telling her twice! I was excited for the trilogy but then came the Elena/Dom baby and Deckard hanging out at the BBQ.

i don’t think we need to be nervous. as usual, Michelle is really outspoken and she did not avoid talking about the baby doom of female characters. that’s important. since production for FF9 has not even started yet, there is plenty of time to write something that will allow Letty to keep her integrity as a character and the baby shouldn’t be a problem. they have a chance to show and prove that a strong female character can be a mom/stepmom and not be limited to that role. she can still do all the action stuff like the badass she is. so have some faith. 

i wanna be fair since i hinted at it a few times and wanna clear out some misunderstandings. Deckard does not hang out at the bbq with team family. he just drops by to deliver the package, aka baby Marcus.
