Passionate Colombian supporter Felipe Alvarez proves his dedication by having the home shirt of local side Atletico Nacional tattooed on his torso.
This outrageous act is however, more than just an fiery show of support. Alvarez’s ink is in memory of former Atletico defender Andres Escobar, who was shot and killed after scoring an own goal in the 1994 World Cup against the U.S.A, which supposedly caused gambling losses to several powerful drug lords.
Alvarez, who was just 9 at the time of the player’s death, even has Escobar’s No. 2 tatted on his back.
