So everyone has that band that you love with your life, even when you don’t listen to it everyday or think about it 24/7. But in the minute you hear the first note of any song of them you can’t help but to sing it loud and get excited and say “I fucking love this band”. 

 Well, that is what happens to me when we are talking about “The Cranberries”. This band has been with me my whole life, like, seriously. My mom used to put them in the speakers when I was a little girl and I learnt the lyrics of the most popular ones. Then, growing up, I showed this band to my best friend, and she loved it! We were the craziest girls in the school singing “Animal Instinct”, even when I sang it like shit. We formed a band with 2 more friends, and we made covers of “Animal Instinct” and “Zombie”. Those were some of the happiest days of my life.

Saying this, I must say that the death of Dolores makes me feel incredible sad. Even when I didn’t got the chance to meet her, it’s like losing a friend. Her songs and her voice were (and are) always there for me when I was happy, or sad, or angry, or when I just wanted to hear some goddamn good music. It makes me sad, because she was an inspiration. It makes me sad, because no voice could ever replace hers. 

Dolores… I wonder if she ever imagined how her death could affect millions of persons in the entire planet. She left us, but she gave us her talent, her music, and her passion. Thank you for your art and your soul, Dolores. You will not be forgotten.

the sense of comfort i get listening to dolores' voice is just unmatchable. she has helped me through so much for so many years, and she still keeps doing that. no matter how low i feel, the moment i hear her voice it all starts getting better.. i've been listening to the cranberries for so long and there's still hardly any day when I don't listen to them 🖤

i miss her so much :')
