On Pokemon Lifespan
It is known that Pokemon who have Trainers or owners live much longer than Pokemon in the wild. This is attributed to several reasons- Access to medical care, lack of disease, lack of predation, guaranteed access to food. There is, however, one more reason.
When a human bonds with a Pokemon, the Pokemon will often exhibit powers beyond its natural abilities. A beloved Pokemon can heal itself of burns or poison with nothing more than its strong will and love. A Pokemon who is truly cared for can withstand any attack, no matter how strong, and fight back.
Seemingly, even aging can be slowed down in this way. It can reactivate telomerase, stopping degeneration of telomeres. Aging itself is slowed down. A Pikachu, whose natural lifespan in the wild averages three to five years, can survive for decades with a trainer who loves them.
However, this process is not infallible. After all, so many people have lost their Pokemon to age. It is not a matter of simply not loving them enough. It slows aging, but does not stop it. And the extent to which it happens seems to have extreme individual variance, presumably on the genetic level.
"If you care for Pokemon with all your heart, they will always be your friend."
It is my personal opinion... but my belief is that Pokemon wish to respond to our feelings. Their aging is slowed, because they wish to stay with us. They care for us as much as we care for them. They cannot always... There is no such thing as a true immortal, even among ghosts.
But a Pokemon who is loved will stay with us for as long as they can. Never forget this. And love your Pokemon with all your heart.

Really?! Uhm.... I dunno... uhm... maybe the station ones? I don't really mind. XS I haven't really been watching the challenges on TV much.
Hey, you guys remember the kid that ordered a wooloo cake and caused Leon-mageddon when I couldn't stop making little chocolate statues? Well yesterday I bought a pack of minor league trainer cards (y'know, the people just starting on their gym/league challenge) and pulled his card. He came back in this morning to buy his usual butterscotch truffles and said he was off to Turffield to challenge Milo with two of his friends. So I asked him before he left to sign the card that I had. When I tell you that this kid screamed in delight I am not even exaggerating. Anyways, good luck to you and Wooloo, Hopscotch.

O0O That's.... so... COOOOL! Even the train workers and stuff have cards?! That's sooo awesome! But aawww, I gotta import theem? Mmm... I don't really have any friends in Galar so I can't ask them to get me any. And big brother's done with his so he can't go and get them either.
Well maybe... maybe I could go ask him to take a trip there. Galara has so many cards for everything though and that's so cool!

(Pelipper mail)
A purple box with a bakery logo on top. Inside, there are about 50 tiny chocolate statues of the Galarian champion Leon. There's also a note.
'thank you so much for taking these off my hands. if you need any more just ask, i'll probably still be making these things for the next few days, or until i run out of chocolate and have to stop. anyways, hope you like them :]
~ pepper'
Anza stares at the big box with sparkles in her eyes, waving at the Pelipper before pushing the box inside. "Dad! Big brother! We got free candy!" She exclaimed, flailing and wiggling as she runs into the house, her brother making his way to the door and picking up the box, taking it inside.
"We're going to have to separate MOST of these. No eating the whole box Anza." He says, closing the door behind him.
"Awwwww! Finneeee!" She huffs then turns to Juniper and waggles her finger at her. "No eating the whole box. We have to save some." She says, picking Juniper up and following her brother into the kitchen.

FREE CANDY! FREE CANDY! I'll TAKE SOME! Maybe my big brother and dad can give some to a few other people they know! Maybe you can send them with Pelipper mail?
ok i didn't mention this earlier but its so late it's considered early and it's a little bit of a problem right now-
so a kid came in to the shop earlier today, wanting a cake. great! the cake they wanted was pretty standard, and i've made them before, they're one of my most well-known and popular bakes, and they're only made to order. it's a chocolate wooloo cake, with marshmallows for wool and fresh cream holding it all together. but this kid seemed to be a huge leon fan, which, y'know, fair, he's pretty popular, and asked for a little chocolate Leon to be on top of the cake, in that charizard pose he does when he can't think of what to say and doesn't want to leave an awkward silence or stammer in front of a crowd. so i say sure, i can do that. so i've been making the cake so that he can pick it up tomorrow, and Wisteria helped me to make a little Leon mold to make the chocolate process easier, so that I could just pour in the chocolate and then paint the little leon when it had hardened.
but... i haven't been able to stop.
i have about 40 tiny little chocolate Leons on my counter and i can't stop making them, it's just so addictive! so yeah, just- just let me know if you want a little chocolate leon.

Oh like the character from How to Train your Dragonite? That's a cute name! I like the picture I wanna give her head pats.
Oooo oooooo! What if you naaammeee your Espuurrr Daisy?! I think that would be a super cute name! Or uhm... Maple? What's your Espurr like? Is she just really shy?
@dollifiedpkmntrainer
Thank you for the name suggestions! honestly I want it to be a sweet and short, I've been thinking of hiccup! that's a name? right? her cry just sounds like them <3!!
Espurr has been living with us for around a week now, at the moment she seems to be very clingy and follows Sleeper (Hypno) around the house, and very gentle. Hopefully we learn more about her personality as time goes by!!
here is a drawing I did of her, she's very good at standing still.

Mystery Gift!!!
Mystery Gift is an alternate system to Pelipper Mail, which can be used in place of or alongside it! Here's how it works!
First, to opt in to Mystery Gift, mention somewhere in your bio or pinned post that Mystery Gift is enabled! Then there's three different ways to give and receive items with it!
Method one! Direct mail! This one is closest to how Pelipper Mail works! The giver sends an item to the inbox of the receiver! Then the receiver can pick it up directly or get it delivered to a Pokémon Center, Poké Mart, or department store! Items only though, Mystery Gift can't send people or abstract things!
Method two! MYSTERY gifts! Two people with Mystery Gift enabled connect, and each of them gets a small surprise! I wonder who decides what the surprise is...
Method three! Distributions! One person shares the Mystery Gift as a post, and then anyone with Mystery Gift enabled can take a copy!
That's it! Have fun with Mystery Gift!
