Hi and welcome to the second last project featuring the Brightly Gleaming products. Yep, there’s only one more and that will be the finish of this product medley. But for today we have a decent-sized Gift Box that measures 4″ x 4″ x 4″. The Navy and Copper really are a lovely combination. This box will fit some larger items and, the base is really solid because all four layers are glued together, so you know whatever you put inside the box will not fall out of the bottom!
Materials & Measurements
Night of Navy Cardstock – 8 7/16″ x 8″ ( x2 ) scored at 4 & 8″ and 4″ Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP – 8 1/16″ x 8 1/16″ scored at 2″ on all four sides Copper Foil Cardstock – 3″ x 2″ 1/2″ Night of Navy or Contrasting Ribbon

Well, I missed last week but I knew I couldn’t miss this week’s video as I’ve been on and off like a light switch lately. Anyway, I have had this card idea in my head for a number of days, and though it didn’t turn out as I pictured in my head, I still didn’t mind the final outcome.
As I mention in the video, I think I should have made a more even cut on the front, so the ‘dutch door’ was more even. Let me know what you think, in the comments section.
Okay, that’s enough chit chat – on with the deets!

Hi All! I’ve been playing around with the Poinsettia Place Bundle and as you can see there are some lovely cards you can make with this set. The card I demonstrated today was version one, and then I put another one together using the Real Red cardstock and Cherry Cobbler ink.
I like both cards but the one I made on video would have to be my fave because of all the texture. The flocked vellum is great on cards, but combine it with the velvet paper and it’s just on another level. The gold foil is stunning in contrast with the papers, I think you’ll agree.
Join me next week when I’ll be making a box to put the card in! With the dimension of the card and the height, it really needs to be presented in a box and not an envelope, where the florals could be damaged in the mail.
Okay, let’s get on with the important stuff!!
Materials & Measurements
Real Red Cardbase – 11 1/2″ x 4 1/8″ scored at 5 3/4″ Poinsettia Place DSP – 5 1/2″ x 3 7/8″ Gold Foil Card Stock – 5″ x 4″ Flocked Vellum Cardstock – 5″ x 4″ Red Velvet Paper – 6″ x 6″ sheet –

Hi and welcome to today’s tutorial – this one is NOT on the fly! LOL I love the way this card turned out and from memory, it’s one I have made as an invitation a couple of times for clients. Obviously not using the same dies or papers, but it is a very familiar style to me.
I love the way this one turned out, the pink and grey colours have become a real favourite of mine. Harking back to the late eighties house colour schemes. LOL
Anyway, let’s get to the details, shall we?
