Ruby stopped from backing up and looked up at him. “Find someone else? I don’t know who else can make a demon human. Unless you find a powerful witch.” She said still standing in her place. “I heard he was an asshole but didn’t realize he was that big of one.” Ruby scrunched her forehead making a face of slight anger.

Ruby quietly stood behind Sam, observing him for a while before she even thought about talking. “Hey Sam.” She said her voice quiet so she didn’t startle the man too much.

Ruby kept walking with him until the reached an old cabin. She opened the door and walked inside. “Here, we will be safe here. If they come looking for you hide anywhere you can and I will defend them off.” She said softly pulling out a blade from he boot.

Sam was running through the woods he was out of breath and pale. It was clear that he was running from something. His face was cut up bruised and his nose was swollen. He runs literally right into Ruby and falls on his butt looking up at her. "Your alive?" He breathed out breathlessly.

Ruby didn’t expect anybody to be out in the middle of the woods at this time of night. It was calm, and she could relax and clear her head. She took a deep breath before almost being knocked over by Sam. Her head immediately cocked to the side to see what ran into her. Sam? What was he running from? “Yeah long story. My question is what happens to you?” She asked kneeling down to look at his face.

Ruby and nodded and sighed. “No I understand.” She walked over to him and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. “I wouldn’t want to hurt you again.” Even with her being a demon, she still cared. “I will just leave you be.” She said slowly backing away from him.
