Sometimes I look at my admittedly overly large collection and I wonder how/why I have so many rare/retired plush but in retrospect I think it's because i just grab things at random either right before they become popular OR someone in my family will get me the item just before it goes out of stock permanently. I think it's because we all have the impulse of collecting the odd one out. Like if I see just one of a plush all alone I feel, idk, bad? especially when they're wonky

Two of my most constant companions. Gumdrop (dexter dragon) doesn't go out much anymore because he has developed a severe aversion to being wet following an incident with a sudden storm. Roswell just hasn't been going because of his size, and sadly, the lack of fun outtings. I used to take friends on errands with me, but lately, I've been feeling less secure to have them with me when I'm completely alone.

me and the dragons decided to have a picnic today!

here's cloud, sunny and jewel once they arrived! they all have their snacks packed up and ready to eat, and a 3ds to play!

cloud wanted to go up high in the sky, so here she is saying hello from the playground!

sunny decided to play on the slide! he went up and down the slide so many times, it was as if he was soaring!

and jewel was sleepy, so after a quick nap while everyone played, they decided to play some pokemon! they're still getting the hang of things, but they said they're having lots of fun!

and here they all are, an hour later and much more tired! they all say they can't wait to head out again, even though they all want to take a long nap now.

I made them myself! They're crocheted out of two different yarns. One is bernat chenille for baby blankets in silver and the other is red heart acrylic. I believe they're both 3.7 mm. I don't have a pattern to share but it's about 2 dozen gray circles on three black loops that are about 5 rows each. I hope that helps a little:)

☆plush related rambles☆

I tell ppl who don't really understand my connection to my plushies that I "collect them" but for ppl who do get it I am NOT a collector my plushies are my friends and family in some cases! They all have personalities, and they have lives outside of my interactions with them. They are friends with each other and some of them have pretty extensive family trees. They have jobs, drama and pasts they got there own little lives going on! I like to imagine that my room/home is just a sanctuary for plush to live in a community setting so no I don't have a "large plushie collection" I have a plushie TOWN a plushie CITY and im friends with the whole town. >:]
